Atelius dove down toward the face of the beast with talons pointed forward and a green light in tow. That was an odd shift in behavior. Maybe she was infected with the black fog? A trigger perhaps? The seeker screeched sending messages to the pilot directly.
The text would flash across the screen. "Leave my Pilot be! I will bring the great father here and remove your companion if you take mine away from me!!"
Strangely the voice that echoed over the communicator was a sharp metallic voice speaking in a strange yet very ancient language. In addition Distress signals were sent to -every- red dot on the map and perhaps those not revealed on the map. A count down ticker appeared in the corner of the screen revealing an estimated 5min until other ZOIDs came within range of their battle.
"Master, use the mountains, see the path? It is not quick enough to get through the mountains there without climbing or blasting its way through. I will keep it distracted...-" Hopefully. "-and send you its weak spots when I find it."

Catastrophe Recoiled Feeling the earth between his massive jaws. Missed, the bone zoid roared in frustration before using it's tail to try and flatten the tiger. The bird was a mere annoyance that simply left small scratches in his armor, nothing to pay any attention to, the bone zoid focused it's attention on the Zaber fang.
The woman wasn't listening or paying any attention, nightmarish visions began and continued to flash within her mind, it only got worse. the graphic moments she had seen previous continued to repeat. She held her hands fast to her head and closed her eyes as though trying to block them out, missing Atelius's words. Her own encounters had also left scars deep ones... though not the kind that you could see.
Lola was knocked off her perch by the sudden movement of the zoid and fell tangled in some of the wires attached to the chair. she Called for Marcia but the woman couldn't hear her. The monkey could only look on with worry and fear. Lola didn't know what to do or what that strange noise was on the communicator.... she tried to get herself untangled frantically.
Talon would still receive no answer.
With Marcia's mind tied to his own Catastrophe was not a blundering wild zoid, he was able to move fluidly as any other zoid. He spun and chased the Zaber fang without a second thought, he could hear his pilot screaming within his own mind as they were joined together at least in part. His own Roar came with a small pang of pain from his pilot, as he chased Talon.

"Atelius, high frequency. Inside. Wake the goddamned pilot up! " And a swing and a near miss! Talon wasn't thrilled with the fluidiy of the strikes, nor the monstrous grace the destroyer of labs and towns had now that it had a clam mind. It was disgusting the way the monster was leeching off of the trouble pilot's mind instead of taking time to calm her down. He couldn't run for higher ground... Tyrant would find a place to hide, hell the Zoid was already on the move to the higher mountains and was looking for a nook to stick itself in to avoid detection.
Tacker was clinging to his little web, squeaking, derking and all around being a grumpy gus at this situation. If the spider had been oh say one hundred times bigger, Talon would put the money on the spider, but not now... He didn't want to come across a spider zoid like Tacker... he had a giant bone monster trying to make him squishy.
The agility of the Z-fang wasn't what it used to be. The joints were old and starting to show their wear, the boosters were too old to even attempt to use with unknown amount of fuel left in the tank, and the Gods only knew that Kagi probably didn't even think that Talon would need such a thing. And weapons were out of the question. He couldn't fight back...but this running and avoiding was starting to drive him insane. He only had verbal attacks left, and maybe this would jolt someone to their senses.
"Calm your blasted pilots mind, monster! If you want to kill anyone kill the damn thing that started this whole mess in the first place. " Yes, redirect the anger towards the Black Fog and that ilk. "It dragged me out here. It harmed your pilot, It killed hundreds of innocent lives. But we need her awake.... " Talon felt like an idiot. He really was an idiot. He was also crazy; had to be crazy, yes. There was no other logical reason for why he was now trying to reason with a monster that could throw him and squish him against a wall, and turn him and this old thing into a scrap heap in a blink of an eye.
Yep. Definatally crazy.

Atelius had been pecking in vein to get the ZOID's attention. Though his claw marks were deep and likely would be tough to buff-out, they did little to nothing to get any attention.
High pitch? Oh! That would work. However...
Atelius latched onto the beasts head, claws dug in deep. Over the com in the cockpit a loud, but but slightly obscured, shriek echoed throughout the cockpit. It was a bird-like mimic of the Jury's call. Sharp and very loud. As he shrieked the black fog Nick had given him to 're-wire' his mind was flooded into the colossal ZOID hoping to shut it down or calm it for at least a small moment for Talon's escape. It was a small amount, but a good amount.
"Master... be s-."
The green light flickered in his eyes than shut off. His grip on the head loosened than ceased completely as he begun to roll limply off the ZOID's face.

Catastrophe kept lunging at the tiger, He did however hear and understand talon, however what he understood was it dragged Talon out here to hurt Marcia. the skeletal zoid was just happy to rampage when it had a reason, it was how it showed its affection. if that Creature was here, he would have attacked it for now... the only thing related to it was Talon.
The great bone Zoid threw his head, trying to dislodge the bird... though it seemed to fall off on it's own. but this caused no concern to Catastrophe
Atelius's cry was not in vain, the shy Organoid woke to the seekers call it could feel something amiss the big zoid was angry, though it was always angry this time was different but familiar. Agumo held fast to the core it didn't like to do this but Agumo could see catastrophe was intent on hurting the other pilot and that bird would be crushed if he didn't stop it.
A sudden bright light enveloped the zoid originating from it's core. the bone zoids eyes changed from red to a bright innocent blue the same color as Agumo's. The Skeletal zoid immediately ceased attacking Talon, it seemed to withdraw closer to itself. Rumbling softly, apologetically almost.. meekly before tuning around and quickly hiding itself behind a mountain as though it was a soft bashful giant not the Terrifying monster it was moments ago.
The frequency resonated with the woman inside her hands were still clasped against her head but her eyes were wide open, she was breathing heavily and sweating, she stared up blankly at the roof of her cockpit... Catastophe had stopped moving, though her head throbbed, maybe she would be able to hear someone.

What a good bird... Talon felt a pang of loss when the bird just stopped functioning. Was Atelius gone? He hoped not. He really didn't. But whatever that blasted bird did worked. The monster seemed to slow down, stop even, and gaze out with different eyes. An organoid attachment perhaps? Never mind that moments before the beast was trying to destroy his very existence...
"Great! Look, I can tell you my entire story if you want. Somewhere else...Your pick. " He pretty much couldn't believe that the same beast moments ago was now hiding behind a mountain. It was then that he caught wind that he needed to grab Atelius' body and get to hiding as well. Cautiously he pulled the Z-fang forward, pulled the giant' cat into a crouch, popped the top and pretty much made a b-line for the beaten unconscious shell of the Seeker. A few cuts and scrapes, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a bit of wire and some steel polish. It was also probably a good time to switch Zoid's in case that throng of who-knows-what arrived and they weren't friendly.
Tacker had apparently taken up its fun task of trying to get the Z-fang to go off and hide with the bone zoid while Talon pretty much walked towards the ominous mountains that the massive thing was hiding behind ( Very well akshully). This was going to be a long story. Hopefully the pilot would listen and not go over the edge again cause that wasn't fun. Note to self: don't piss off bio-zoid pilots.
A minute later, Tyrant was running up and skid to a halt. "You're late." Talon grumbled as he crawled into the pilot hatch, carefully setting Atelus behind the seat, then hailed the Bio-Zoid again, " Here's a mark that's far enough away from here where we can actually talk. I think I might have to explain a few things and it's going to take a while. " The Z-fang headed for that mark regardless. Talon was going there and who really cared what the Bio-zoid did at this point. But he did have responsibility to make sure the other pilot was okay. Anyone that knew the fury of that Judge and Jury was good in his books and worth trying to ally with. Talon might as well try to amass an army while he was out here. It might prove useful later on when he was allowed to return home.

"Pull yoursel... togeth...id... " A fuzzy and almost inaudible transmission came through the com in the massive bio ZOID. The voice, though scratchy, was from a familiar source.
For the fall it took the Seeker's body was still in a remarkably okay state. Though it showed no sign of waking up even when stuffed behind the seat of the Saber's cockpit.

Agumo peaked the large bio zoid's head out and shook it before retreating back behind the mountain. Agumo wasn't moving this zoid till Marcia was better. Besides he didn't like being in control he would rather stay hidden and keep soothing the beast. Catastrophe's own mind roared in defiance, scaring Little Agumo but he was determined to hold on for a while longer.
Dazed still the transmission game through garbled, but the voice was familiar, it felt familiar, like she knew who it belonged to. it seemed to help pull her from the strange trance like state. Her thoughts stubbornly pulled away from the terrifying scenes she had witnessed trying to find something more real to focus on, She couldn't tell if she was dreaming or not,
What was going on? Who's voice was that? What had she been doing again?
With Catastrophe stopped Lola was able to untangle herself from the wires, She swung back onto her perch on the seat, and whooped and chattered loudly behind the woman hoping it would help, the MRZ did not like this one bit.
With a sudden jolt Marcia sat upright, gasping for air feeling sick to her stomach. Lola's calls gave Marcia more of a headache "shh, shhh," she said rubbing her temple and trying to calm the little monkey with the other. What had just happened? The only thing she remembered was that familiar lingering voice. Did she dream it? Maybe... it was Ander? was he still alive? No if he was here he would have said something more. Just her mind playing with her. It seemed to do that a lotShe was confused. Again, Marcia hated it, she had to do something.
Talon's voice came through the communicator a short time latter and suddenly things came back to her. At least most of them, she had no knowledge catastrophe had tried to chew him out quite literally. It took her a while to gather her bearings before she could look at the map.
"h..hey are you alright" her voice came over the com rather shaky. As she realized what happened with the damage to the area, catastrophe had collided and crushed quite a bit around the area the poor guy was still pretty sane minded after trying to be eaten by a giant. She took a look at the Mark on the map talon forwarded to her.
Marcia flicked the Com off. "Thank you Agumo, don't go back to sleep..." she managed to speak to the organoid. Who rumbled softly with the zoids deep voice. The large zoid rose and started toward the place Talon had on his map.
All the other zoids in the area were still converging on them, from the SOS.

It was kind of cute, Catastrophe acting like a scared child. Talon couldn't help but forgive the monster for trying to squish him. Darn his endless capacity to forgive machines. Tyrant tilted its head to the side a few times before continuing to the rendezvous spot. Silly humans...
Ah, a human voice. Talon smirked, though he was glancing back at the beaten body of Atelius. Yeah, the bird would be fine. At least they learned the limits of the bird's abilities. He wouldn't ask that much of the bird again any time soon. "I've been worse. You okay though? " Yep, just a normal day for Talon. Piss off a giant monster, check; survive the monster's wraith, check; and somehow make it home for dinner, still working on that one... but two out of three ain't bad.
He really had nothing to say, not until they were at that spot. Not until he was sure their spot wouldn't be discovered by the swarm to come... not until he was sure that the monster wasn't going to squish him again, but that was more like a hope rather than a solid fact. It took a minute or two, and Tyrant had to set up a few signal bouncers to project that this small spot of land was indeed empty and not occupied, but after that, Talon had set up a small fire underneath an outcrop of rock, popped on a kettle of water for something or other, and was tending to fixing up Atelius's battered form. Or...actually, rubbing toothpaste on the nastier scratches to buff and fill them out. His Companion was the shiniest after all.
" Hrmph... Zut would have a hayday with this you know, silly bird. " he muttered to himself with Tacker, the adorable spider, spinning a nice little web in the corner of the cave with spindly thread. Marica would probably take a while to come out, but really, Talon wasn't much of a threat. Hell, he didn't even look military at this point.

"y.yeah." she managed to say. Marcia wasn't sure how ok she really was. She really didn't want to hurt the guy just mess around with him. She was still scared of the reaction she had, what would happen if she hurt someone? This guy got lucky this time thanks to that bird he was fixing that was now motionless.
That bird thing must have been important. Though marica had never seen one before and wondered what kind of MRZ it was if it was one at all. Marcia brought a hand to the necklace that resembled Saga around her neck what had she managed to get herself into.
Agumo Lay the bone zoid down so it would be easier for Marcia to get out instead of having to rope down a huge distance.
It was indeed some time before the cockpit of the large zoid opened, it was more Marcia trying to regain her composure than talon's disheveled appearance. The woman did pride herself on appearances. She wasn't wearing her normal attire this time, she had worn something more seemingly suited to the land, Rough jeans and a tank top. She had a belt strapped to her leg that held some sort of dagger but the dagger itself was left in the cockpit.
Marcia hopped from the cockpit with Lola perched once again on her shoulder.
A final angry push from the Zoid's mind, The little organoid slipped out an hid in the cockpit, The entire bone zoid shut down.
Marcia turned back to the cockpit and despite everything she smiled at the little organoid. "Thank you Agumo for holding on, Lola stay with him" she asked the monkey who promptly hopped off her shoulder and back into the cockpit to stay with the little organoid who was hidden.
Marcia made her way toward Talon who was still buffing out the scratches in the bird. "I suppose we have some stories to tell each other don't we?"
The Red dots scattered across the area as though looking for the two zoids they previously knew were there. Tyrants signal bouncing seemed to be effective.

He gave a momentary glance upwards from his work when approached by the woman. "I suppose that we do have quite a few stories. Nice necklace. Looks like something I've came across before. " Now, wasn't he just full of surprises. No, not really. Just incredibly unlucky. It seemed to be his thing and you had to accept something as silly as that.
"Though, I can summarize it all as I was in the right place at the wrong time and it spiraled out of control from there. " Water was poured onto a cloth and he went to cleaning the toothpaste of the metallic bird, sniffing at the now minty smell. Did these creatures have olfactory sensors? He'll find out now. "So, I'm pretty much in exile until the Zaber Fang lets me return home. "
He quirked an eyebrow and gazed at the woman waiting to hear her side of the story, or at least a story from her. People always had stories. And they weren't always entertaining. But that Bone Zoid was most interesting... And it wasn't really any of his business.

The comment surprised her Saga was always cloaked was it possible he had seen Saga? Instinctively she brought her hand up the the necklace she was wearing, though it came from that frightening source she couldn't bear to remove it like a constant reminder of her failure. She would never repeat that mistake again. "Thank you," she replied "It represents the zoid of a friend of mine." she'd have to ask him about this zoid he saw that looked like Saga. the great chimera could be roaming without it's pilot, though she shivered at the thought. but... it could also mean Ander was Alive somewhere and that really was just an illusion.
Marcia Listened to the pilots short story version. She gave a nod "Seems to be that way doesn't it, it was the same for me, I was waiting for a friend." Marcia took a good look at the Bird Talon was polishing, it looked very different up close very... she wasn't sure she had a word to describe it. It was just strange. Though she was one to talk with the Bio zoid. that itself was strange.
"I'd like to hear about the zoid you saw though," she asked before continuing in almost a whisper as though afraid to know the answer. "did it have a pilot?"

" I see. A very snazzy one at that. Saved my a** as well as a friend one time, that ZOID. " He pointed with his thumb to Tyrant, who seemed to be enjoying pinging people all over the place. This was why he never gave the ZOID power. Blasted thing would dictate them all if it could. Oh well... At least Tyrant was using its new abilities and getting used to them. "Met up with the Chimera and its pilot then. Funny thing about people that They find amusing, they like to pop back up from the dead. The Imperial army is having a hayday finding the old bandit leader. Won't find him, I say. They just don't see the big picture. Politicians.... Bah. "
Rambling again, Talon had to clear his throat and pat the rock he was sitting on to remind the woman that she should probably sit before one of her awesome mental vacations happened again. That would be bad when one was standing. " Just like they won't find me until They say I can go back. " he mumbled, absently turning the bird on his lap so he could start on the other side. "Anyways, ... " He was about to go onto a long and very practiced speal against the Emperor's choices and spread the gospel of the Roullete Wheel of Decisions when he was asked if that great Zoid that popped up out of the sand had a pilot. And not only that, Anders was a friend of this woman. " Ah? I had a brief encounter with him. Brief as in he passed on materials for a lie to the Empire to protect everything we knew currently. But yes. Saga has a pilot. Anders is still alive and just as bound as I am to that, " Talon wrinkled his nose and resisted the urge to spit on the ground lest something nearby saw him an reported his visible disgust to the monster, "Monster--for lack of a better word. "
He realized he had been talking for a while and cleared his throat, "Sorry. I haven't spoken to another human in almost a month now. I can lend you an info tablet if you want to read the full report on that encounter," Talon hesitated on adding more. After her last reaction to the mention of the Judge and Jury, he wasn't too sure she was quite mentally stable to deal with that sort of army. Then again, Talon wasn't quite as sane as he led on to be. They only kept him alive because he was amusing. That in itself scared him to his marrow. "We omitted the black fog and the swarms of Obliterators, Seekers, and Strikers as well as --ah well you'll find out if you want. "
The spider in the corner made a 'Derk' sound, clicked its mandibles and seemed to cross its spindly arms in disappointment. It wanted to meet this person that tried to squish the human thing. This made Talon realize that he didn't really know how to go about names out here in the wastes. "I really have no clue what I'm doing out here anyways. I get drafted, thrown on the Imperial Raptor squad, get tossed into this Judge Conspiracy, learn that a traitor of the Empire is really a hero and is now pretty much cursed, and now because of all that I know I'm stuck here. Sooo yeah. I'm called Talon, by the way. " Might as well end on an up note, right? RIGHT.
And the spider does a facepalm and goes 'derk'.

The woman took a seat when she was offered one She listened to his story, though his choice of words was rather, unorthodox. Then again both of them had been through some rather insane things. As soon as Talon mentioned Quin was alive she felt a weight lift off her chest from the burden she had been carrying felt lighter. Ander was a live, relief crossed her face only to be replace by a deep worry.
That thing? that monster she never wanted to see again? that creatures warning still echoed in her mind. the beast had captured him and forced him into service? She knew she'd regret flying headlong into it once again. Marcia knew she had to find Ander. Lest that terrible vision she saw really happen. "The Empire will never find him, but if he's alive I will" she assured Talon "Catastrophe and Saga have some history, that was before I met him." she motioned to the bone zoid.
Marcia gave a nod "Personal choice or your friend there leading you on the path of fewest conflicts?" Seemingly everything had been getting worse the past few months. Marcia had been lucky to avoid any more insanity till now "I really don't want to find out any more, but it looks like I've already managed to get myself involved." she said rather annoyed.
"If you want I can lead you back to the boarder." she offered it might be safer with the two of them. Though she was unsure about how well even catastrophe could handle that beast. But maybe he'd be able to at least get home. She wasn't looking forward to the next meeting she had with Judge and Jury she was Terrified of it to tell the truth.
The guy suddenly became rather cheerful, it threw her right off with all the heavy discussion she wasn't expecting that to be the last thing he said. She nearly lost her balance. "Marcia Rao," she gave her rogue name, Ander saved him he had to be an ok guy to give her name.
Unfortunately for Tyrant his fun was coming to a close as the bips on the radar started converging on one area seemingly ignoring the pings from Tyrant as though they were trying to find away around the bouncing signal.

He watched her very carefully before forming words, his little side project was seemingly forgotten. "You can't find someone that doesn't want to be found. It is better for the military to be chasing after him right now than any of us. They have resources and men to waste. But I do understand. " The corner of his mouth twitched in a smirk, then soon he was smiling when it was mentioned the two Bio-ZOIDs had some history. "Ah? Catastrophe makes the best first impressions. Such a friendly ZOID. I just want to cuddle that giant toe of his."
"Both. " There was much more to that answer, much more thought, and Talon just didn't want to go into the inner workings of the military. Not to mention that would not only get him discharged, but perhaps labled as a traitor and executed. Then again, he's MIA right now so what was the harm? Ah, it was best not to even touch it. With a snort he found himself agreeing to her statement. "That is the best thing I've heard in a while. Wish more people knew to keep their noses out of stuff like this. Hell, I wish I never found it. "
Talon considered her offer, using a couple of fingers to poke the 'slumbering' bird on the beak as he thought. On the one hand, that would be the best idea at this point if he was heading home. But on the other, he was forced out here for a reason; and he might as well see to it that that reason is fulfilled. Who knows what lay out here, or what awaited him at the boarders... His gut told him nothing good. "I don't think it's quite safe to return to Imperial or Republic grounds just yet. Call it a hunch, but I'd much rather take my chances out here than deal with whatever could be going on there right now. " Talon eyed Marcia in a glance that pretty much said he wasn't going anywhere near where the Judge could still be loitering about picking daisies. Not that the Judge would be caught dead in a field of flowers without carnage around, but still... "I'd appreciate just a few marks on the maps for unaligned settlements that don't ask questions. "
A low rumble from Tyrant told him that their playtime was pretty much over. That was faster than he thought or planned. Talon frowned and stared over at the green ZOID, watching as Tacker skittered towards the Z-Fang . "Atalius knows what he's doing... Stupid bird, calling things that don't get discouraged from signal bouncing... We should probably make scarce before I have Tyrant cut the signal. You going to be okay, Marcia? We might be in for a fight you know and I don't want to be at the teeth end of that thing again any time soon. "
