"Riley is very kind and caring. So long as she hasn't had any sugar." Mot informed Yin, speaking from experience. "She was very welcoming and helpful on my first day of school. I look up to her." That fondness never left. While he did not see Riley often anymore, he still held her in high regard. "She's a mind flayer. Purple. Ever met her?"

"The club takes place in the fitness room. There are exercise machines available there." Mot arrived at the Bloodbucks, standing inside and ordering his large coffee.

She? How disappointing. But perhaps like many of the other ghouls he had encountered that was not such a bad thing? She did not sound too awful. But they were at the counter and while Mot had asked him questions he was also ordering, so Yin decided to do that first before answering.

"I would like whatever he is having," he decided after seeing that the menu was entirely too complicated. He brought out his pumpkin seeds, the precious few that he had and struggled to get the correct number before stepping back to wait for it and addressing Mot. "Machines for exercise? What types of machines?" Then he thought back to the ghoul. "And Miss Riley...what is a mind flayer?" It did not sound exactly wonderful, but who knew?

"Black coffee? Are you sure you don't want some cream or sugar?" Mot asked, remembering Yin's reaction to the drinks taste last time.

"There are cycling machines, and weights. Things to help make you stronger, I guess." Not that Mot would know. He never used them. "Oh, well, I guess you could call her a brain eater? Honestly I don't know much about her race." Mot admitted, rubbing his neck. "You can't miss her, she has tentacles for hair."

Who really knew if he wanted cream or sugar? "Maybe a little?" he questioned, and the barista (thankfully male or Yin might have never ordered) scribbled something onto his cup. Well, whatever these "machine" things were, they helped you to get stronger, though he had no idea what they would even cycle. Maybe exercise programs? He would have to figure it out later.

He took the cup with the scribbles when the barista finally got their drinks to them, watching the steam rise as the boil spoke. "Oh, I do think I have seen her at some of the school events," he mused before blowing on the top of the drink. "I did not realize she was a zombie though." Brain eater? What else could she be? He sipped at the drink, which was not quite as bitter, but still tasted odd. Palatable though.

Mot could not help but laugh a bit at Yin's misunderstanding. "No, she is not a zombie. Though I understand why you would think that." He corrected, chuckling some more and taking a sip of his coffee. Mot nodded toward a table, wanting to sit and enjoy his coffee.

He sat himself down and offered Yin to join him. Why not? He seemed to get the boil off the topic of dirty hobbies. Perhaps they could carry on a conversation without Mot fleeing like a scared little ghoul. "She's a demon. Not a zombie. There is also Jericho; he's a red haired Red Dragon. I think he's one of the trainers? He's a real nice guy, if talking to Riley is too much for you."

Well, other creatures than zombies certainly ate brains, so Yin just accepted the statement and then sat down with Mot at the table, taking another small sip of the coffee when he was settled. It was not quite as bad this time, but still not something he enjoyed.

Red haired? Dragon? Was that maybe the winged boil who had had the hallowdeer? He preferred not remember that almost shameful moment and tried not to think about it to hard. "Perhaps I should look into this club. Where did you say the fitness room was?" Another sip, and...yep, pretty much the same bizarre flavor that was neither good nor awful.

"It's uhm..." Mot thought a moment, trying to recall it's location. Maybe he should just be honest.

"Actually, I don't remember. I've only gone to a club meeting twice." Mot said sheepishly, tapping his cup of coffee with his fingers. "It's in the school, so I'm sure someone else will know."

Yin frowned a bit. "Perhaps we should find the club together. It cannot be good to only read and write all the time. Unless Lady Hel has an exercise program for you?" Though really, he needed to have that talk with Alexander more than the cowboil, getting him to speed up into even a fast walk was essentially impossible.

He sipped at the coffee again, the flavor now more familiar, and it was...somewhat comforting. It warmed him up all the way down, and there was a pool of warmth in his stomach that steadily grew as he sipped. It was cozy. His eyelids were actually feeling just a touch heavy, and he was beginning to take longer drinks. "This is not as bad as I remember," he mused.

"Oh, does she ever." Mot chuckled. "She's a big fan of training and becoming stronger. Trust me, she keeps me in shape." Kind of. Mot was still thin as a rail. Was it bad his own ghoulfriend was physically more capable than he was?

Yin's changed opinion on the coffe had Mot smile a bit. "That's good. It grows on you, hm?" Mot took another long sip of his own cup. The effects were much different on the reaper than they did on Yin, though the warm feeling was the same.

"Where were you headed before following me?" Mot asked curiously.
PostPosted: Thu Mar 01, 2012 9:19 pm

Yin nodded and well...kept nodding slowly, almost as if his brain had forgotten to tell his head to stop moving up and down. "Mmhmm," he agreed, taking another drink. "It is not as good as tea," he yawned and had to cover his mouth, but at least he stopped nodding, "but it still has its merits." In other words? It was warm.

"Where was I...Oh! I was just going back to the monster dormitory." He had been planning on just looking at his homework and such, but now he was wondering if perhaps he needed to take a nap when he got home. He felt tired, really tired, and he found himself propping one elbow on the table and resting his chin in his palm as he gazed at the other boil through half-lidded eyes.

Okay, either Yin was really tired, or he was giving Mot bedroom eyes. He prayed it was the former.

"You.. okay, Yin? You seem sleepy. Maybe we should head back." Mot informed with concern, both for Yin and perhaps for his own well being if his paranoid assumptions were correct.

Yin nodded, "yeah, I do not know what came over me all of the sudden." He glanced down at the cup in his hand, maybe drinking something would help keep him awake? He took a drink, enjoying the warmth from the cup. "Yeah, maybe we should go home soon."

He stood, coffee in hand, and waited for Mot, pursing his lips as he looked at him. The other boil did not seem to be suddenly afflicted with exhaustion, so it must be him.

((whatever that pic is staying))

Mot chuckled and got up, all done with his coffee now anyway. "Coffee is supposed to perk you up, not put you to sleep. You're certainly a strange one." Mot commented teasingly. Mot tossed his empty cup in the trash and led the way out into the maul again.

"Alright then. Let's get you home."
PostPosted: Thu Mar 01, 2012 9:44 pm

It was supposed to wake him up? Yin quickly downed the rest of his cup, hoping that it would wake him up soon. As for being strange...well, that really was not that unusual for someone to think, and Mot was a nice enough boil so he shrugged it off.

"That sounds like a plan," he agreed, and then yawned again, feeling faintly sluggish, before following Mot back toward the maul entrance.

A tall, lanky, and white haired zomboil was moving in the opposite direction of Yin and Mot, almost directly in their path though not knowing it since he was too busy looking at the ground in front of him as he slouched along. In one hand he gripped a plastic bag, which indicated that he had been in the maul long enough to experience a little bit of shopping, and slung on one shoulder was backpack which held his trusted steed--er, skateboard that is.

Perhaps it was just fated chance, or more then likely, the Cryptoria's Secret shop coming up on Alex's right that made the zombie raise his head. Though before his eyes could wander towards the half naked models on display in the windows, they instead locked on the duo coming towards him. It was Yin, his bonded, or boilfriend...whatever. With another boil that Alexander didn't quite recognise. He seemed familiar but...he just couldn't place him. To say that Alex was surprised to see the weremantis at that moment was a bit of an understatement, but as his initial shock wore off, he couldn't help but just feel incredibly happy to see the mantodae. A grin split his face in two, and if it was even possible for Alex to find a way to walk faster, he did it then as he strode towards the two of them.

"Yin!" He called out cheerfully as he approached. "I..really didn't expect to see you here!" Though actually, this was pretty convenient for Alex, as he had came here mainly to seek out something he was considering buying for the weremantis.

Suddenly realising he was perhaps being the slightest bit rude in not introducing himself to the stranger that was accompanying Yin, Alex turned his smiling face to the cowboil, "Hey there...uh..you look familiar. Have we met before?" He asked, his brow furrowing in a frown as he tried to place the other boil.
