"Incidents? Moi? Never!" Wade threw an arm around Scott and smiled a broad smile behind his spandex mask. "I promise I'll behave - at least for most of the night. But if I can't get any of that stupid water, I might be kind of boring tonight. Scotty, m'boy, we can just hang around an watch a bunch of early 2000 Romcoms, eat fattening ice cream and just dish, y'know? About life. About love. Who knows, maybe we'll even make out a time or two."
"That sounds like a good night for everyone, 'cept for Scott. It might be better if you could also promise to put a sock in it for a while, Wilson." Logan folded his arms and sighed, "So when am I going to be stuck with the chatterbox?"
"Logan reminds me of a pirate. Does Logan remind anyone else of a pirate?"
Steve sighed, "Sorry, but I've tried to drink away problems before, from that I learned that I can't. Metabolism's too fast to feel anything from alcohol." He thought on it for a moment, "On second thought I had best go with Tony and the others to make sure they don't get into too much trouble." He turned to leave after them, "Good luck, you lot."
Remy sighed, "Well, since you'll be watching 'im tonight, I guess dat means we can skedaddle?" He reached down to lace his fingers with Rogue's, "Come on, let's go have dinner, then get sleep, tomorrow's gonna be très mouvementée."

Emma tried not to get upset, or to let any of Deadpool's words get to her. She knew Scott would be under a lot of pressure to keep the man under control. "I agree. Let's get everyone off to bed. Deadpool that goes for you. Sleep would be the best option for the night."
Contemplating for a few moments Johnny shook his head. "No thanks Tony. I got stuck with some crazy class I need to go plan for tomorrow. At least some sort of planning."
Rouge looked up at Remy and smiled lightly. "Sounds like a good idea to me." She rubbed her thumb lightly over his. "Good night everyone." Rouge turned to take Remy back to their bedroom.

Scott slowly removed Deadpool's arm from his shoulder. "Sure, whatever keeps you out of trouble. With the exception of making out. That's where I draw the line, bud. No drinking either. Last time I got wasted, someone took my 'glasses' off to mess with me and I brought down the bar." Scott started to walk off with Emma's hand in tow. "Now lets go to sleep before I have to drag you by your no-no place, Deadpool. Logan, we'll change shifts every six or seven o' clock?"
Storm rolled her eyes. "I'm not going to stick around for that to happen. I'll see you all tomorrow!" she said before heading off to bed.
Tony shrugged. "Suit yourself! We're gonna have a pretty wild last day of freedom before school starts up, but hey, if you wanna go ahead and sleep it off, that's cool too!" he said before trying to put an arm over Thor's shoulders. "So, where we off to, Thunder Dude?
Thor grinned. "Oh, I know a good spot that we could fly to with much difficulty. Even on the way back. It's got some expensive stuff, but it's worth it and I'm sure price isn't a problem for you, hm?"

Logan waved a hand dismissively, "Sure. Whatever you say, Bub." He thought this might be a good time to get the hell out of there. He sighed and took his leave from the auditorium before the others had a chance to change their minds.
"Thor, Tony, let's try not to destroy anything this time, huh?" Steve rushed a bit to catch up to the two already walking away. "I'm not sure I can trust you two."
"Good night for you maybe." Wade sighed as everyone seemed to be leaving. "I can't believe it's my first night and I'm stuck with the party-poopers." His posture and air lit up however when an idea seemed to strike him. "Hey I've got an idea! How about we all stay in and play strip poker?" He leaned into Scott again to "whisper", if you could call it that, "I'm pretty choice at poker, we'd see a lot of boobies tonight."
Remy smiled, happy to be able to walk away from this crowd for any reason really. "Good luck with your new shift, Scott, Emma."

[ As Rouge led the way back to the room she and Remy shared she couldn't help but think on the two brave souls who had offered to take the first shift. "I hope they can handle Deadpool by their selves. He can be quite a handful I'm sure." She opened the door to their room and stepped in letting go of his hand as she did so. "I believe it's my night to cook." Rouge had her own room, one she hardly ever used. There was no reason to stay in a room alone, not when she could crawl into a nice warm bed next to a hot piece of a**.

Emma sighed softly. No way was she going to play strip poker with Deadpool in a fifty yard vicinity. "How about we play a normal board game? Or maybe a video game? We have a few in our room. Mostly for shits and giggles. But we could kill some time, at least until you decide you're feeling sleepy Wade."

SUDDENLY: A loud sound, like the crack of thunder, could be heard from nearby. It had resonated from what many would have guessed was the mansion's back yard. As all attention turned toward what was there, from the inside of the mansion they could see a large metallic object, which was shaped like a small airship of some kind. It sat in the ground for what seemed like a long moment, the edges of the ground all lit with small embers from the heat of the impact. It was a full minute or so before the large hunk of metal began to quiver and ever so slowly it lifted out of the crater it had created in the ground. The edges of the ship-shaped object were glowing a small, bluish color and it was soon in the air, floating what seemed like effortlessly.
Quickly though, it became obvious that the object was, in fact, not a ship. It uncoiled a bit and turned around to reveal it was some sort of metallic creature. Its eyes glowed red and its jaw opened wide as it seemed to be hissing at the crater into which it had just created.
Along with the rest of the ones who were still in the auditorium, Wade had been looking out of the opened emergency exit door at the events unfolding. He noticed a small yellow light from the crater and he sighed. "Somebody should go grab Sigourney Weaver, it looks like her suit arrived, already fighting the aliens!" He leapt out to be the first to the crater to look down. "Look, I knew you come back, but, fact of the matter is, I already switched to satellite. You just can't beat the package! I hate to be the one to tell you - I mean, I have my own Bea Arthur channel." He sniffled, "In her memory..."
"Shut up, Wade!" A voice called up from the crater. Meanwhile the monstrosity in the sky began to screech loudly as its body seemed to be involuntarily folding over and crushing together.
From the hole a man of enormous stature emerged. His left eye glowed a bright yellow, and as he lifted the outline of blue surrounded him as well, making it clear he was the source of the telekinetic abilities currently crushing the alien-like creature in the air. "Wade, get the others. There are going to be more of them!"
"You got it dude." Wade gave the man a quick salute then proceeded to turn toward the door. "Olly olly oxen free! Bzzsh! Calling all X-Men! This is not a drill. Repeat. This is not a drill. It is requested that Emma Frost come out topless to distract the monsters! Still calling all X-Men! This would be so much easier if I had one of their glowy button things." He turned back to the larger man who was staring him down. "What?"
"I could have done that."
"Well then why'd you make me waste my breath?" Wade leapt up onto the remains of what had been a fountain before the crash. "So..." He turned toward the mansion, "Where are our reinforcements?"

Scott shook his head. "No thanks, Deadpool. I'm fine without a possibly mentally scarring game of stri--" he stopped when he heard something accustomed to thunder. Like something had just crashed. He had immediately went to the back door to see what was going on only to find a large metallic thing in the back yard and Deadpool acting like and idiot again.
How the hell did he back here so quick?!
Scott's hand immediately flew to the communicator on his X-Men suit. "Cyclops to all X-Men! There's a situation in the backyard of the mansion! All available converge. Now! Lethal force may be necessary!" He sighed as he stepped out into the backyard. Was that who he thought it was next to Deadpool...?
It didn't matter at the moment. Scott spotted another anien falling in their general area and shook cracked his neck. "Guess it's time to show the kids what this is all about!"
His right hand went up to the device that had earned him his nickname and turned up to KILL. Pressing the button that allowed his power to focus, he unleashed it into a single concentrated crimson beam that hit its mark with pinpoint accuracy. The metallic object that was already heading toward them jerked when it was struck, then veered to one side (thankfully away from the institute) and crashed out of sight. "Deadpool! Why don't you annoy them to death instead of going on about Emma?!"
Ororo was actually just putting down a book that she had been reading when the "thgunder" struck. She grimaced. "it better not be what I think it is..." she said before she had actually reached her window and threw open the curtains. "Oh, I guess it could be worse. Could be better too..." she said even as Scott was talking over her communicator. Her hand went up to it. "On my way." she said before her eyes turned a milky, swirling white color. She openned her window herself, but she levitated the rest of the way as Storm made her way down to Scott.
At the same time, Tony had poked his head out and slipped passed Thor as he re-entered the auditorium. "Well, look at that! ET decided to join us for a drink! I feel sorely under-dressed for "first-contact", so if you'll excuse me..."
Thor stepped out and into the backyard as he passed Tony. "I believe that was an unauthorized thunderclap! I do believe that you'll need permission from the God of Thunder for such a thing! This calls for a forfeit of alien machinery!" he said as he waited for one to dare to land near him. He removed his hammer from his belt and gave it a few wide swings as he stared up into the sky.
Tony stepped back outside in his Ironman suit. He had brought a suitcase that wasn't relly a suitcase at all. it was a travel-size suit he had designed. "Whatever you say, big guy. Just leave some for me. I've been meaning to field test a few new toys anyway." he said before he looked back at the door that was now ripped off its hinges by the strength of Tony's suit. He grimaced. The sudden change of strength still surprised him sometimes. "You coming, Uncle Sam?! You're missing a hell of a fireworks show! I can almost see Will Smith in one of those things screaming 'I HAVE GOT TO GET ME ONE OF THESE!' hahahahaha!" he then activated his boosters in his boots and hand flight stabilizers and took off into the sky.

Emma rushed out already mentally trying to reach out to the monster screaming angrily in the sky. "I don't think I can get through to that thing." She said coming to the side of the crater "And who are you?" She asked the man who had likely come with the creature.
Rouge came walking calmly from the mansion "Ah didn't know we were gonna have company." She said looking up at the sky as well and starting to float slightly off the ground. "Be right back shugah." She said with a wink to Gambit as she took off to strike at another metallic object that tried to fall to the ground.
She'd let the rest of the team try and get the one already lose, or at least come up with a quick plan of attack.
Johnny arrived just as Rouge took flight to the sky. "Time to join the party!" He smiled as he saw Peter running from the building to look bewildered up at the sky. "Come on spider butt get to work!" Johnny taunted "Flame on!" He erupted into flames and took off.
"Yo Rouge let's get this beast!" He yelled over to her.
"Sounds like a plan!" Rouge joined him. "Ah'll give 'em a good punch and you light his sorry hide?"
"You distract him, don't get hurt. And I'll see if I can light a flame under his tail."
"Deal." Rouge flew at the monster with it's snapping jaws. "Hey there hansom!" She laughed dodging around next to it as Johnny came from behind and used a Nova Lava burst to see if it would effect the beast.
Peter looked up "What I wouldn't give to be able to fly some times."

"No fair. Tits McGee never gives me the time of day-" Wade was cut off, fortunately for those around him, by another of the metallic creatures flying in and taking him down. "Ack!" As he went down, both arms went up weilding guns and fired randomly into the air.
The stray bullets were stopped only a few feet into the air in an encasement of blue light. "Damn it, Wade." Nathan had stopped the bullets then allowed them to fall to the ground. "Control yourself."
"Not exactly his forte." Logan had made the scene, still in casual attire. Great, and just when he was about to kick back and drink with the guys. A god damned alien invasion happens, wouldn't you know it. He threw both arms down, revealing his claws as he did and cracked his neck to both sides. He then leapt up onto the creature that had taken Deadpool down and gave it a quick stab in what was maybe it's head.
Steve, too, had just made the scene, immediately throwing in his shield to hit yet another of the monsters coming down. "Cable! How many of them should we be expecting?"
"Well, their reservation was for six, but you can never really trust those time-travelling sons of bitches."
There was an explosion from beneath the creature Logan had jumped and it flew into the air a bit only to reveal Wade underneath with a set of pins without their hand grenades around one index finger and one of his larger guns in the other hand. "No one sits on my face without making the'100 Sexiest Women in Comics' list first! Those who might qualify here are the female X-Men and Spider-Man! So lay off, alien-thing."
"Aw Chere you cannot have all da fun." Remy decided to join the party. Reaching into his jacket he pulled out the first of many decks of cards and the kinetic energy started flowing.
