Molly quietly listened to the Death hunter, her brows furrowing at times. It was…interesting to hear why someone else came here in a morbid way. Molly honestly hadn’t given much thought as to why the others were here…since it was obviously a choice they each made, but now that the subject was out there…she thought about all the Hunters she had come across so far. Were all of their reasons different? Were any of the reasons…like hers? The young woman shook her head a bit as if to clear her thoughts. It was rude to get lost in them! Jude was talking.
“O..oh, thank you! I am glad I can help.” Molly replied with a small smile.

He nodded slightly as he looked at her. She wasn't Susannah but she was Molly and it was an important distinction for him to make. This was someone else that he was talking to. Someone pretty, certainly but not his Susannah.
Jude smiled a bit, "May I ask you why you are here? This doesn't seem like something you'd enjoy. The fighting aspect of it anyways." Maybe the other tasks would bring her some enjoyment but honestly he didn't see her as the type to raise a hand violently toward another person unless pushed.
"Only answer if you want to, it isn't like I am going to force you to answer me," He added after a few moments.

The smile fell from Molly’s face as the question was turned on her, and how quickly the young woman sobered up was alarming. She seemed to stare at her ceiling for a long moment as well, thinking. Part of her said she should, because Jude had been honest with her, and part of her said she shouldn’t, because no one liked a sob story. She could always give Jude the version she gave Otto…but somehow they didn’t sit right with her either.
Molly decided…she’d give him part of the story. Her hazel eyes returned to the young man beside her, and her smile was a bit strained. “…I was in a lot of debt…and Deus made it go away.” Though technically, Deus made her go away….after all, you couldn’t collect money from a ‘dead’ person.

He observed her reaction and was about to backpeddle on the question even more until she answered and then he gave a small accepting nod, "Fair enough. Deus has a way of making things go away," he muttered softly. It seemed like something he shouldn't pry into right now it'd come out on its own if there was more to it.
Jude seemed thoughtful for a moment it was clear how little that he actually knew about Molly, "What kind of things do you like to do? I mean, other than just play the fiddle, I am sure you got other things you like," he chuckled softly.
He might as well get to know her a little more before he asked her to play the fiddle.

“Mhm.” Molly hummed with a small nod. At his next question, the young woman paused, looking thoughtful. “…Ah…other things…” She seemed to be having trouble answering this. “…Uh…Read…go for walks…cook?” She giggled a bit softly, awkwardly. “…That’s all really. I’m not terribly exciting.”
There really hadn’t been enough…time…to pursue any of her own interests or hobbies really…

Jude tilted his head a bit, "I dunno, I think it is nice that you enjoy those things. I am sure you'll find a couple more things to get into later. I like to read and take walks myself and for me training has become like a hobby. As for cooking? I have never done much of it, though mom tried to teach me a little before I ... left." He sounded a little sad when talking of his mother.
He shrugged a shoulder, "So if you're boring, I'm boring too...I didn't really pursue many hobbies or interests other than maybe fencing but I consider that similar to training so I don't know."

Molly nodded her head a bit. “I do think I’m getting into more things here.” While she had a lot of duties to do…not having to worry about bills and rent…that was such a huge weight off of her shoulders. Thus, she found herself with more free time than she did before she came here. The young woman gave Jude a bit of an encouraging smile. Left, huh? Once again…how interesting…
“No, I don’t think you’re boring.” She replied. “Fencing sounds very interesting!” Not to mention fancy.

He nodded a little bit, "That's a good thing, I'm happy for you," Jude smiled lightly as he watched her. Getting to know her was a bit more easy now that he was acting more .. naturally around her. At least as natural as Jude got.
The young man blushed slightly and shrugged his shoulders, "I guess it is, maybe I can show you a bit, though my weapon doesn't really facilitate it...I'll have to see what dummy weapons are around for that," he said thoughtfully, "kind of like an exchange...You play the fiddle for me and I show you a bit of fencing."
That sounded like an awesome exchange!
"I used to be on the fencing team in school," he said with a small shrug, "it was the only interest I partook in when at school."

“As long as it’s not any trouble!” Molly replied, smiling as she gave a nod of her head. “A trade?” She giggled softly. “If you want to call it that, then sure!”
The Mist trainee leaned a bit forward, resting her palms on the edge of her bed as she listened to Jude. “Oh, that sounds wonderful as well!” High schools with fencing teams…how fancy once again. Molly didn’t care to think about her high school time all that much…she simply floated through a lot of her classes and didn’t have time for extracurricular activities. “Ah, yes.” The young woman clasped her hands a bit. “I can play for you, definitely, but I also have a duty I need to attend in a half hour so…would you be alright if I played now?” She seemed very apologetic.

Jude chuckled a bit, "I don't know what else you'd call it? I mean I show you something and you show me something," he said simply. It seemed like the pure definition of a trade or an exchange in general it wasn't like he was going to just have her play for him and not do something in exchange for it.
He smiled a bit and nodded, "If you want to play now that's fine. I have some things I should probably look into as well," Jude let out a small sigh. "It is weird how quiet things used to be before and now it is just all activity everywhere," he smiled lightly.
There definitely seemed to be a lot fewer trainees than when he first joined and now a new face seemed to pop up every time he turned around.

Molly just smiled and gave a slight nod of her head. Not like she needed to argue out what a trade was, and was just fine with the answer provided. “ Alright!” She replied, standing up from her bed to go over to her closet where she kept her fiddle tucked away safely in its case. The young woman pulled it out, and didn’t bother to reply to Jude’s last comment. It’s not like she would have known how quiet it used to be at Deus, she had been sleeping after all! She pulled out the lovely fiddle, righting herself as she readied it as well, and remained standing. Molly hummed thoughtfully for a moment, wondering what she should play, and maybe looked a tad shy about being ‘on stage’ so to speak, before she decided on a little tune that her father had taught her (but you know, only with one fiddle, not dueling ones).

His arms crossed over his chest for the time being as he remained seated on the edge of Molly's bed and simply watched her. He almost gazed away when it seemed she was maybe a bit uneasy with an audience but then she began to play and thus he listened to her. Jude looked suitably impressed as he watched.
"Seems really complex," he observed quietly. He didn't think he'd be able to play himself but watching someone else do so gave him a new appreciation for the instrument.
Jude quietly waited until she finished playing.

Play Molly did until the song was over. She swept the bow across the strings with a flourish as she finished, and then held the instrument and the bow to the sides of her. “Ta da!” She cheered, smiling. “I hope that was good for you!” Her curls bounced as she tilted her head, and then moved to carefully and neatly put the fiddle and bow back into its case. She had somewhere she needed to be, after all!
The Mist trainee then carefully stowed the case into her closet and turned to grab her coat, pulling it on. “I’m really sorry I couldn’t stay for longer, Jude!”

He clapped for her performance and smiled lightly, "It was even better than I imagined it would be," Jude said with sincerity as he stood up to his feet once more and waited until she was jacketed before he stepped closer toward her pausing a moment before he just gave her a brief hug, he felt tense and odd while doing this, like he was afraid he was going to break her.
"It is no problem. I dropped in on you with little warning. Thanks for putting some time aside for me, I appreciate it a lot," he said as he released her and with very little warning reached up and gave one of her curls a gentle little tug just to see it bounce before he could even stop himself. Jude'd always liked curly hair.
Blushing a bit he turned around, "Sorry I didn't mean to tug the curl...Without asking," he cleared his throat, "I'll see ya in a bit," he muttered as he started to exit the room ahead of her - after all this wasn't his place.

Molly rubbed the back of her neck, blushing. “Oh gosh, your words are too kind!” She blinked as the trainee suddenly moved to hug her, and wrapped her arms around him, squeezing him tightly before he pulled away. She had no problems with hugs, after all. “Like you said, it’s no trouble at all!” Molly beamed. “I always have time for my…friends!” Right? They were friends, right? Molly wasn’t use to saying that.
She blinked as Jude tugged on a curl and let it bounce, and giggled. “Oh, it’s no problem, Jude!” She assured with a wave of her hand. “Miss Candace grabs them all the time, and so does everyone else really! I don’t mind. Have a good night!” She waved the hunter off, stepping out into the hall after him as she closed her door, and then moved down it to attend to duty, humming merrily.
