Glyph arched a brow, a grin playing across his lips that spoke his thoughts louder then words ever could - perhaps they'd already found that magic switch?
He laughed and shrugged, "I wasn't expecting it either... though it makes sense now, actually. I've felt... itchy these past few days, like I couldn't quite attend to something. Itchy, I guess you could say." He shook his head, teasing, "Would you rather have ripped my trousers off then?"
Another brief kiss when he was sure Xun was fine and Glyph straightened, his branches knocking against the lower branches of the trees around them, causing him to laugh in delight, "This is so much better!" A squeak from the branches sounded annoyed as a leafy little lizard bounded down, landed on Glyph's branches and proceeded to skitter down to sit on his head with a chirp of recognition. Little beady eyes stared at Xun, as if it was expecting an introduction.
"... That didn't take long." Glyph mumbled with amusement as two other leafy lizards bounded down to take up positions in his branches, reaching up to take the lizard from his forehead with a smile, "And Echo is Music, wife of Underworld. She was giving lessons when I last spoke to her, perhaps she'd be willing to play for us."

 "Well, if you put it that way..." He tried to look as innocent as possible - and failed, of course.
"If you say so." Really, it looked more like Glyph was about to have bits in the way of well... everything. The branches in particular did look pretty hard to maneuver with.
He did try to make the kiss last for as long as possible, but apparently others had different plans about thar. The leafy lizards descended and he pretty much lost it. Yeah, the mental image of shaking out assorted wildlife out of Forest was looking pretty likely now. "Y-You're a jungle gym !" He managed to say in between laughs.
"Ah, I see..." He did manage to regain his calm, eventually. "I do not think I have ever met her."

Forest simply grinned at the other's response and gave a cheeky wink, as if to say their discovery would remain secret between just the two of them. He tilted his head side to side, much to the lizards' annoyance, and stretched one more time, settling into his new body totally. The space around him seemed to open up so that he blended in and stood out at the same time... he was truly in his element.
"A jungle gym??" Glyph chuckled and held the lizard his hand out, watched as it hopped off his hand and onto Xun's shoulder, "I can live with that. As long as Ankou's crows don't decide I'm an excellent nesting sit I should be alright." He was blushing again, despite enjoying himself. The lizard was peering at Xun's eyebrows, watching them bob and wiggle with the dragon king's expression and, with a chirp of delight, made a leap for one.
Glyph laughed at that then nodded, trying hard to continue their conversation, "You should. She's a pleasant enough goddess - I don't know her as well as I do Nergal, sadly. Can you think of anyone else who might be helpful in setting up a date? Besides, Rio, that is." He smiled broadly, one eye closing as a lizard decided it wanted to investigate his hair, tickling the god in the process, "I'm looking forward to it. Our first real date! What would you like to do?"

The dragon king did let the little lizard take residence on his shoulder, clearly not minding it's presence in the least. In a way this was less restricting - Bao liked to perch and coil around his arm, which then made him have to be careful not to accidentally hurt the little creature.
At least until it decided to go for the eyebrows. "Hey ! That's not a toy !" He said, clearly a little startled.
"Hm..." He frowned a bit, in thought - and it did occur to him that he did not know that many of the reborn gods, really. He had no idea who this Ankou even was. "I... can't really think of anyone, beside the obvious. It seems like I don't know as many others as I thought I did..."

Glyph seemed amused as the lizard leaped about, scrabbling when it missed the eyebrow so it didn't fall off. Wrapping an arm around Lifewater's shoulders, he applied some pressure to get the Dragon King walking again.
"Well," He smiled as he thought things over, "What about we throw some sort of party? I can introduce you to the others I know... maybe you'll make more friends too! Meet people." Glyph arched a brow, "It could be a dinner affair or something of the like... Futs Lung suggested I visit the market the mortals have been putting together, apparently it's quite a sight! There's probably a square... we can request it for the party. How about that?"
Glyph seemed hopeful, curious.

Playful little creature ! One hand did reach out to try to catch the lizard should it lose balance, but it seemed like it wouldn't be needed - tiny claws caught in his tunic and the lizard ended up balancing on Lifewater's shoulder,
He was quick to get to walking again. "Oh, the market ? I have been there a few times. It is pretty nice there. And that sounds fun, actually. I would like to get to know more of the reborn... And, well." He grinned, then leaned against one of the shoulder protrusions. "Any time spent with you is definitively enjoyable to me."
Oh, he was sounding like a sap. His brothers would certainly be so amused if they saw him like this... He'd never hear the end of it !

"You have? You'll have to show me around then," Glyph responded thoughtfully, "A party there might help bring people together too and if the Councillors attend, those who want to bring their concerns to us can do so in an informal setting..."
He snugged Xun against his side and tilted his head as he looked over, "Besides, I'll get to show you off as well. Maybe the other Dragon Kings can take the opportunity to mingle as well..." Pressing a quick smooch to Xun's ear, Glyph smiled, pleased and amused by Xun's shows of affection. It warmed him greatly.
"It's a date then, yes? We'll organize a soiree and mingle in the market, steal away at the end of the night to my bower for some peace and quiet." He fully intended to spoil Xun rotten with surprises at that point!

"I certainly can. It is pretty easy to find." He'd stumbled upon it randomly, actually, by going to places Illisia hadn't, thanks to her dislike of big, non-natural cities. He'd found himself delighted by what he had seen.
"Show me off, uh ?" He said, amused. "I was not aware I was such a treasure... And it does seem like my brothers need to meet more of the others, as I do. It might be a good opportunity to have them do so..." Hands wandered down to take one of Glyph's, and that was when he noticed that they were rather mismatched - one look down and a few small curious twitches of the ears revealed that he was openly pondering weither if he should give in to the urge of playing with those long fingers or not.

Low, rumbling laughter emanated from Glyph and he shook his head, the leaves rasping and whispering with the motion, "Of course you are. I am proud to be your ally and proud to be your lover. I care for you, Xun." Nodding in agreement, he glanced down as Xun took his hand, amused by the other's curious gaze. Smoothing his thumb over the side of the lavender hand, Glyph tilted his head and smiled, "You're planning something... what is it?"

Lover. It was really such a rush, to just hear Glyph say it like that. A low, pleased rumble made itself known, then, tail wagging back and forth happily.
"Your fingers are strange." He finally said, amused, as he curled his own with Forest's. "See ? They're so long !" Really, it was both fascinating and amusing to him. Why ? Well, did he really need a reason ?

"Strange??" Glyph blinked at Xun, lifting his other hand to inspect it. The whorls of the wood patterning, the long, graceful digits... he didn't think anything looked odd, "You really think so? I think it just means I'm better able to reach out... and hold you."
He grinned mischievously as he tugged their clasped hands up and around to pull Xun into a dance-spin, ending by pulling the dragon into his embrace, free hand splayed over Lifewater's stomach, "See?"

Oh, he had not meant it like--
He did not get the time to elaborate before he was easily spun as if he had been nothing but a feather. He was clearly a little startled at first, but then he laughed merrily, leaning against Glyph and standing on his top of his toes, crossing the distance that separated them the best he could to kiss him.
"You're such a michevious tree." He said, amused - really, was he any better ?

] Glyph looked pleased as Xun laughed at his little trick, lingering in the kiss for a while before tossing his head and sending his emerald locks swinging. The lizards in his branches chittered in protest and one even abandoned Glyph to join it's friend on Xun, tho the latter was dizzy and clinging to whatever clothing it could grab.
"That's one way of putting it. Are you hungry? Thirsty?" He murmured, then arched a brow as a thought occurred to him, "Anything else you find strange about me?"

Xun Jiang did not seem to mind the defection any - or the fact that one of the little critters had a deadgrip on his tunic by now. The claws did sink a bit in his skin, but it was easy enough to ignore.
"A little." He did not specify which, and well, did not seem to notice the oversight. "I did not mean it like that, you know." Ti Lung continued, raising one hand to slide against Forest's cheek. "You are lovely."
And now he had the urge to pet that goatee. No, this one was a dragon that did not easily behave - at least, not in an informal setting like this.

"Mmn," Glyph tilted his head into the touch, eyes closing briefly, "I know. I'm just teasing." When he opened his eyes, Forest regarded Xun thoughtfully for a moment before he kissed the other again. He seemed to be in a particularly sappy mood, delighting in the other's company and generally feeling upright and proper for the first time in months.
"I dare you." He murmured, grinning. It wasn't hard for him to guess what Xun was thinking if he followed his gaze. Reflexively, Glyph touched his new facial hair with a hand, running the long fingers over the coppery tuft with amusement, "I'll have to get used to this, I think. Do you like it?"
