Jack to was surprised when Darion opened the door. He was to be Darion's new room-mate? What luck actually. Darion wasn't much of a runner of the mouth, particular soft spoken..and most importantly, he did't annoy him. Plus he was guy so there wasn't going to panties and bras lying around all over the place like the last room.
Giving Jack the letter that stated his new room number, Jack said, "I..I guess so". Something then caught Jack's eye, past Darion he noticed the room was in absolute disarray, a whole bunch of stuff was completely frozen, while some areas looked soaked, and strangely enough, alot other areas looked completely burned..."What the hell", he said when he noticed Darion's present state of living....it wasn't boding well for Jack impression of how Darion spent his private time..he really did hope their was a good explanation.

"Ah okay well I can explain all of this. Before the room was ice cold because of my issue with heat, Then a girl showed up and broke the air conditioner. So when we got back from our test I found the place was changed, candles and such. So I froze the place over with her clothes stuck in the ice and pay back for ******** up my living space...Then she burnt down the curtains and blankets when I was away for training...It was much neater until she moved in, but I guess since you're here things won't be as burnt or frozen." Darion said as he sat down on the most burnt bed."You can have the nicer bed. I'll probably just freeze this thing later so i don't burn up at night. No worries I'll clean up the mess later." He said with a smile.

So he had room-mate troubles. That explained it, and it put Jack at ease knowing that Darion wasn't a complete slob. However the issue with it being cold in there twenty four seven might be something to talk to Darion about, Jack didn't mind the cold but he didn't want his room to be a constant snow globe. Stepping into the room, Jack looked around. It was about the same as his other room minus the mess. So walking over to the bed that Darion wanted him to sleep on, Jack started to unpack his things silently as he started to think about what he would do the next day. He learned all he could about the Dark Slayer style, and while he could learn another sword style, Jack wanted to learn something that would help him fight without weapons... unfortunately he didn't know a style that would fit him so he planned a trip to the library as he began laying out his clothes.

Darion looked at Jack and smiled."No wrries Ill only make my bed cold, Im not an a** when I have a roommate...She just broke the AC...So I ruined her clothes." Darion said as he rolled around on his bed."So what do you want to do? Cause I'm bored..." Darion said as he looked at the ceiling.

Since the bed was against the wall, Jack sat on the bed, leaning his back up against the cool surface of the wall. Yawning, Jack said, "It's been a busy day Darion. I wore my body out to near exhaustion at the beach..what I need now is rest...". Jack yawned again, his eyes looking pretty tired. Looking outside, Jack could see the moon starting to appear as the day grew ever darker. "Unless what you want to do involves not moving...I am afraid I am not up for anything". Jack began to lay down, saying under his breath, "Unless you got video games or something".

Darion sighed."If you want I can put you in an instant sleep..." Darion said as he looked over to Jack. "100 percent safe, I just have to pinch your chi point and you'll fall into a deep and peaceful sleep." Darion said as he pointed at Jack's neck.

Jack put his hands up slightly shaking his head, "No thank you. Natural sleep is the best kind of sleep". Luckily the blankets weren't cold so he slipped under them right after Jack took off his shirt. If Darion was observing, he would see multiple scars and gashes left behind from previous conflicts, they littered his entire torso. But Darion would only get a few seconds look as he quickly slipped under the sheets. Looking at Darion he said, "In the morning I will continue my training. Your free to join". Short spoken as always, Jack closed his eyes and went to sleep...as with about every night, he had the same nightmare.

Darion shrugged as Jack turned down his offer. Darion noticed Jack's scars but it was because not to ask at the moment. Darion leaned up against the back board of his bed and feel asleep as he did frost would develop around him to keep him comfortable at night.

Jack awoke the next morning feeling refreshed and raring to go. On the outside, he was his usual calm self, but on the inside he was jumping up and down with excitement as he would get to do more training today. He wasn't even in the mood for food, Jack wanted to get to the library as soon as possible so he could start going through all those books to pick a martial arts style that best suited his form. So getting up, Jack went into the bathroom, changed into a set of new clothes, brushed his teeth and hair, and started to pack up for the day, storing things in his bag that he would need for what today's adventure brought.

Darion woke up as he heard Jack in the bathroom."Best part about me falling asleep in frost, is waking up without having any grease in my hair." Darion said as he walked into the bathroom and began brushing his teeth."So what are we training some more?" he said after he spat out the bubbly tooth paste in his mouth. He rinsed his mouth and smiled at the mirror to see his pearly whites."Lets get something to eat first, breakfast helps the brain and body function properly after all. " Darion said as he shook all the sparkly frost off of his head and began stretching his limbs out to get limber. Darion was lucky to have Jack as his roommate, this way he didn't have to get acquainted with any strangers that might kill him in his sleep. Darion cracked his neck and put his book into his bag. He was ready to set off.

Jack sighed, and looked at Darion. "All right, but we will make it quick...I don't want to waste any time getting to my regiment". Strapping the backpack on his back, Jack took the rapier and put it against his belt. He reminded himself he maybe needed to go to the weapon shop to see if any better weapons were available to him. For now though, he figured he didn't need a weapon for the training he was about to endure. So all ready to go, Jack exited out the room and towards the cafeteria. He planned on making his food break a short one...the quicker he became stronger, the closer he would be to getting to his goal.

Darion opened the door and waited for Jack to enter, when Jack would enter the room he would close it behind them and lock it."So you were jumped to, it seems like you got out before the fight even began, you got lucky." Darion said as he walked away from the door and sat on his bed. This School was getting more dangerous the stronger they got, He was glad he got to Jack before anything bad could happen to him. He was more concerned for his friend rather then himself."You almost got into a bad scenario if you didn't realize it, but your fight was avoidable, I got snuck up on with flying needles just after you left... Luckily I managed to disable one of them and fight one on one until a teacher showed up." Darion looked at Jack and sighed something had to be done about this gang.

Jack sat down and listened to what Darion had to say. "I noticed two people at the track, but they seemed to be a bit pre-occupied..Glad you got out". Jack looked at Darion, he seemed a bit wear and tear, but overall in one tact. Jack had a brief second of concern cross his face, saying, "I guess your fine....but are you alright"?

Darion looked at Jack and sighed."I'm fine, but we're not safe as long as they're around..." Darion shook his head and sighed."If they have a gang, we need a gang, we should gather as many people as we can get." Darion said as he held his head, that to close a call for him, next time he might not be so lucky.
