*Kinetav watched Liliana carefully as she walked towards him more, his senses staying keen yet focusing on Liliana; Kinetav growled and enraged as he felt his butt be bitten, Liliana clearly mocking him in a sense as he immediately disappeared into the Infinite Void again. He cursed, dropping his left blade inside of the Void as he had begun to be irked by this troublesome summon. He knew that he allowed himself to be thus occupied as he resurfaced a good ten feet behind Liliana again, mentioning in an angry tone, more angry at himself than anyone else:*
"Yea, I know I know...I'd be dead by now, wouldn't I?"

Liliana nodded, showing no concern for being naked. "The Plague Lord holds an ability granted him that allows him to turn your allies against you. You must focus on the main threat while neutralizing other problems without killing them." Prism padded up beside Liliana. "But here's the true challenge: who is the enemy and who is the pawn?" Prism dashed forward, hail starting to pelt the area around her as she ran.

Of course...there's the puppet....
And the master....
*Kinetav's eyes turned from a crimson red to a normal red as he heard Liliana's words and watched her pet Prism, and then Prism began to ran towards Kinetav with hail raining all around the pet. The Anima grinned wickedly as his now empty left hand began to arc around before he dropped through the world again, resurfacing right behind Liliana with his hand in motion; he grasped her neck and his sword went around her throat as he held it in place, mentally whispering...
It's you, isn't it? The Fox knowing I was behind it, able to respond to my teleportations. My moves, all read by your expert mind, seer.*

Liliana smiled as Kinetav seemed to finally understand. "It's nice to see you thinking. But since you have rooted out the true enemy, can you face them alone? How much strength can an unarmed enemy hold?" Liliana's aura lit up as she tossed her ring off her hand to be caught by Prism. Raw elemental power lashed out at Kinetav from all around her.
Element's Lash Rank: A (no boosts) By lighting up your aura, the raw power of the elements show around your body, lashing out at anyone in a 3 yard radius. This can last for 5 posts unless using Wrath of the Four Towers, which ends this skill immediately after being unleashed. 5 post cooldown.

*Kinetav began to jump back the second that Liliana reached for her rings, black boots digging into the sand and watching the power strike around her; his jump was too little as the tendrils hit him, singing him badly as he pointed the tip of his Exodus at her. Shadow seemed to form at the tip and shoot forward towards Liliana's chest as he finally exited the radius of the tendrils around her and caught his breath, breathing heavily as he successfully started to mark her soul. He watched her patiently, hoping for a reprieve from those tendrils of energy swirling around her as he continued to step back and away from them, planning his next move.*

Energy moved with her hand as she directed the attack to a non vital spot on her body. Red energy engulfed one hand as yellow lit up the other. Fire shot out like lightning as the roar of the wind joined it to whistle its way towards Kinetav. Prism, off to one side, changed her shape until she was in her humanoid form.
Fire Bolt Rank: C (BL boost) Description: You shoot out what looks like a lightning bolt, but it's actually fire.

*Kinetav frowned a little as the energy storm continued to run around Liliana, and the battle rhythm began to pound in his heart as he marked her; he allowed his senses to take over, looking around him and seeing Prism start to transform off to the side. He knew that it was now or never as tendrils of ooze began to form off of his right hand weapon; the Anima's left guard went and tore off a considerable chunk of the Exodus, forming twin daggers in his hands as he threw one of them in between the blasts towards Liliana's stomach. He then faded back into the shadowy depths as he jumped up again, appearing above Liliana, doing a feral leap onto her back and plunging the actual Exodus dagger into her shoulder in a precise strike as he bore the pain of her energy tendrils for another round in an attempt to end the test.*

The lashing power of Liliana's aura batted away the flying dagger as Kinetav made his leap. "My Lady!" Prism shouted, rushing for Liliana and the descending Anima. But she stopped as Liliana took the attack, dropping her aura as blood splattered on the sands. "It takes a strong mind to think through the lust for battle," Liliana said evenly, giving no indication to the pain she might be in. "And is something only an adept can do for being what you are. The fact you were able to think instead of being swept away by the lure of your Exodus shows you are ready for the next level of training." Wind gently pulled and lifted at Kinetav to help remove him and his blade from Liliana. "But first, let's see about healing your wounds. Please relax, your test is complete." White threads of power unraveled from Liliana's hands to knit together Kinetav's wounds.

*Edge rejoiced gleefully as it tasted Liliana's blood, and Kinetav rejoiced as the energy faded and he heard Liliana's words; the redness from his eyes faded although the voice kept whispering...
More! More! MORE! KILL HER!
No...No more...No more from you.
Removing his Exodus from Liliana's back, the wind carried him to his feet as he felt his power grow with just Liliana's words; he looked down at his Exodus as the crimson red lines began to form a circle around the Exodus core and move until it was a perfectly smooth line, and then his eyes widened as he heard a familiar voice and the core began to swirl around...
Brother...I can see! So this is Rykros, so that is the delicious Liliana, so that is Prism...and this...this is you.
Kinetav stared in disbelief before looking down at his armor and making sure that nothing else had changed, new as he felt his powers beginning to naturally settle within him and his wounds healed by the white threads of Liliana's gift; he smiled underneath his vizor and looked at Prism as the woman stopped dead in her tracks, saying in a twisted tongue that he recognized all of the sudden in an attempt to calm her:*
"Μην ανησυχείτε, Πρίσμα, πλοίαρχος σας είναι ασφαλές."
*It was only by Prism's weird reaction to his words that he realized he had spoken in a new tongue...the Black Tongue. He clasped his hands over his mouth, unsure of how the knowledge entered his brain; it was only then that he realized how much more beaten up his gauntlets were and he tried to activate them, but to no avail. He frowned, first translating what he had said for Prism before talking to Liliana:*
"Do no worry, Prism, your master is safe. And thank you, Liliana...I'm afraid that my gauntlets are damaged beyond functioning, though. You had said Kishu has the best mechanist's tools, yes?"

Liliana used the residue of her threads to heal herself as Kinetav spoke. Yes, she should have mentioned the Black Tongue of the Voidsworn but some things must be experienced instead. "Yes Kishu holds the best of what you seek." Her necklace shined from her breast line. A large dragon of pure energy appeared behind Liliana. "Do not worry. He won't burn you. This is Alewar, my long time friend." The dragon bowed as he became solid. Prism went back to being a kitsune, leaving the clothes of her humanoid form behind so Liliana would have something to wear. Slipping into them, Liliana climbed onto Alewar's back. "Shall we get your gauntlets fixed?" she asked as she offered Kinetav her hand.

*Both Edge's eye and Kinetav's eyes widened as a large energy dragon appeared, taking solid form from a necklace on Liliana's neck as the seer healed herself; the Anima bowed back, whether out of fear or respect, as the seer hopped onto the dragon. Sheathing Edge, Kinetav grasped Liliana's hand and went up onto the dragon, nodding at her as they prepared to take off. It was at this point that Kinetav was thanking the Void for his ability to Shadowstep should something go wrong, quite hating heights.*

They walked for some time; the dark of the sky contrasting against the glimmering moon and the silver light that bathed the pale body of the dunes. The Reaper moved over the endless volumes of sand with great ease and a pace developed after much practice. The tribes had a natural advantage in training among the dunes; their slope and grain conditioned their muscles considerably faster than hard earth or rock. What was surprising was that at night, The Desert was more than cool. It was cold enough to bring a chill to anyone dressed for and expecting the heat of The Devil's Eye's days. Kerrark wasn't phased. His continued moving swiftly and with purpose, forcing the Fallen to maintain his measured pace over the sand and pushing her newborn balance and endurance to its limit. At least it was cold, for Kerrark brought only his water skin between the two of them. "What is your name, Fallen?" The Reaper called behind him as he slid gracefully down the steep gradient of the increasingly larger dunes.

~Cordelia~ -Seraphiel; Angel of Silence-
If the reaper thought her keeping up with him would be hard, he was mistaken.. Her 7'2 height gave her alot of leg to work with, thus she kept pace right by him or next to him easily..opening her wings to control her speed and movements as she slid down the dunes. What she was not expecting was the cold, it did not bother her as much as if being uncomfortable..just unexpected. Her white robes shielding most of the cold from biting into her skin. "You can call me Cordelia..." she responded, not wanting to give her true name..blocking out memories about her maid, her best friend..Cordelia. Now was not the time to get emotional. "How far are we going Reaper?" she asked, for it felt like they would never stop.

Kerrark kept both eyes ahead, glancing out to the sides and bowing his back towards the slope of the dune as he looked for something. What, she couldn't see. Everything was the same ghostly white sand in the moon; an waterless ocean of waves. The Reaper continued on his course, remaining swift and forcing Cordelia to keep pace. "Far. Not far. The distance does not matter; only the destination. Yours will be a life of long and treacherous travels. You must be ready to go any distance before you can complete your journey."
The Reaper traveled on, and their feet rose and fell through the sand for at least an hour. Nothing seemed to change, except for Kerrark's occasional glance along the slope of the dunes. It went on this way for longer, until something could be seen in the sands, rising up from the dunes like ancient broken bones.
