Théo chuckled and nodded his head approvingly. "Yes, exactly. The wind is very fickle." He smiled at the little one before continuing his lesson. "The wind is a trickster in that sense, but if you learn to pay attention to your instincts, you'll be able to feel the wind's mood." Théo furrowed his brows, wondering if that sounded crazy. "Does that make sense? You might not be able to tell now, but I think it's a talent that us fliers develope over time."

"Hrm..." She seemed to be trying to picture this all in her head as she watched the breeze play with a few more feathers. "I Think I get it... We must respect the wind for it both lifts us up on it's shoulder and can turn deadly and help us to meet our ends if we are not careful... Right?" Her tail gave a hopeful waggle.

"That's exactly right," Théo said. He was happy that Emily seemed to be understanding him. He was afraid he might have been too technical at some point. He looked up and noticed the light had changed "Sadly, I think we'll have to call it a day."
[[ I was thinking we could either keep this open for a few more lessons at different intervals (like weeks/months) or we could just close it and pretend all the rest happened if you want. I'm fine either way. ]]

Théo chuckled at the face Emily was making. He was glad she was unhappy to leave, meaning she hopefully was enjoying the lessons? Or at the very least was eager to get flying. Théo knew that feeling and just as excited for her. "Can you met me here again in three days? That way you have some time to get used to the idea of moving your wings properly. Another thing to keep on your mind is to pay attention to the wind. Start listening to it." Théo winked and smirked. He would wait to leave until he saw that his pupil had made it safely on her way home.

"Three days? Sure.. I'll tell my mothers to remind me." She said with a small giggle. Nodding she gave a wave and flapping her wings up and down awkwardly, she ran off in the direction of home. Looking over her shoulder she grinned wide. "See you later!" She added before facing the direction she'd been heading and running home.

Théo watched and waved as Emily went on her way. He couldn't help but smile to himself as he made his own way home...

Three days had passed and Théo was just arriving at the park. It was the early afternoon, probably just after lunch, and he hoped Emily had not been waiting for him. In his mind, it would go best if the little one arrived after him, if not accompanied by one of her mothers. Still, he had given in to his thought that at her age, Emily most likely had things to do in the morning, if not a desire to sleep in.

Emily raced down the sidewalk flapping her wings as she went, she'd been practicing even though now her younger sisters had many questions about why she did so. Spotting Theo, she giggled and yelled out. "Sorry! Breakfast fell into a small giggle fest."

Théo smiled simply as he watched his young pupil arrive. "No problem. I'd rather be the one waiting than you." He watched her wings flap behind her and nodded his approval. "You've been practicing... Right?" There was a twinkle in his eye as he continued, "If you did, then today we will test your ability to hover. I won't expect you to last long, but a few seconds will be good."
