The whip is reversed. Jimmy rebounds off of the ropes, and although a dozen possible reversals run through his head, he doesn't act on any of them quickly enough. He's caught by the back body drop, is launched about eight feet in the air, and lands flat on his back near the ropes. He rolls over onto his side, gritting his teeth as he arches his back.

The kick connects, earning painful groans from the audience, as well as from the commentators. Jimmy rolls under the bottom rope, and crashes down to the steel floor next to the ring.

Jimmy shoots out his hands, stopping himself on the steps, his head inches away from it's edge. Realizing how close he'd just come to a cranial ********, he jumps over the steps, and scurries back into the ring under the bottom rope.

Jarel catches the leg, then attempts to pull Jimmy's other leg out from under him. should this succeed, he'd attempt to pummel the downed man with hard rights to the skull

With his kick intercepted, Jimmy relies on his reflexes. He quickly attempts a makeshift enzuiguri with his other foot, using Jarel's grasp for support.

Kicking someone's ribs while still holding his foot can be difficult. The second Jimmy sees Jarel's massive foot leaving the ground, and realizing that a move like that must be the center of the bigger man's attention, he tries another enzuigiri, this time coming from the opposite direction, and aiming a little lower... for the back of his neck.

(if i ducked the first, you're on the mat. why the hell would i still be holding your foot? there is no way for that to physically be possible for you to attempt another enziguiri unless you can levitate, therefore not hitting the mat after you missed the first one)

((You never mentioned letting go of his foot. Maybe you should try to be more specific about details in your work. I admit it would be an awkward landing, but yes, he CAN land on his attacking foot, and from there, he's in prime position to try the move again. Rob Van Dam did stuff like it all the time. Oh, and you want to talk impossibilities? When you're on one knee, how do you catch a kick that's aimed at your hamstring? That's the back of your thigh. I'd have to be coming at you from the side. Did you twist your hand backwards to catch it? And by the way, remember how pissy you got after my post-rumble promo, when I was allegedly assaulting Jarel's face status? I have a little news flash for you; My character is 116 lbs lighter than yours. If kicking a man in the head when he's down, despite having that huge of a weight advantage, is something a face would do, then I guess I just have no clue what the ******** a face even is. Now are we going to keep playing the "you shouldn't have done that" game, or are we going to continue the match?))
