She hesitated when she felt something take her hand, then quickly get pulled along when she list her stride. "Uh."
Blinks again, but caches up, slipping her hand out of Izaya's once she was walking next to him, but not rudely.
"Yes, Elite Hayes. He was leading the mission this time and.. uh" She didn't need to continue, since he knew what happened, so her voice trailed off hesitantly.
"The department's have all been working in overtime to do everything we can per boss' orders, sir. If there is a chance to get them back we'll find it. "

"Oh my. Is that a note of regret I hear...?" the grunt spoke up, catching the note of irritation at the mention of Hayes' capture. Though, secretly he wondered if Faleen was more upset about this fact than Hayes' ex-boss. "With his brawny partner, one would have thought he'd have been pretty well-covered."
Nakura cast his partner a false, hurt look when she pulled her hand away, though he doubted she would even take notice. Even if she did, she probably knew him well enough by now than to take him seriously about it. He continued on with a serious expression as he listened to the words exchanged. That didn't keep him from asking his own questions, though, of course.
"So...I'm afraid I don't know much about this, but...wasn't there a higher-ranking Rocket on the mission, despite Hayes leading it? I've never met him before, and there was almost nothing about him on the Rocket database. Just little bits like that he came from Unova and was promoted to an executive out of nowhere. Either of you know anything about him...?"
