Reine shook her head gravely.
"There's no way to do that, as far as I've heard." Okay, this was about as far as she could take it, she was running out of ideas. A quick glance outside the window showed that the sky was clearing; warm rays of sunlight were beginning to shine through the dreary mass of grey clouds- maybe she could head outside now.
Closing the book on the table, the life trainee stood up and stretched.
"I'll see you around sometime," she said cheerily, and patted him on the shoulder before walking past him out of the library. "I hope you like fiction."
Well.. that had been entertaining enough, even if she was starting to feel slightly bad. Still, Jason seemed nice enough, if by 'nice' Reine really meant 'gullible'; either way, he'd left a somewhat favourable impression on her.
Yay! A nice newbie, finally.

Jason did not move. Nope, he just sat there, stone frozen, staring at the books on the table. Yet slowly, ever so slowly, did he rmove to pick up a book and began to read it
