As the list kept growing so did the pit in Yin's stomach. He faltered and then completely stopped brushing Princess Eva, a growing sense doom looming over him. Then Alexander started actually warning him about his twin sisters. Two of them. The same age. It was not that he did not trust Alexander...he just did not fully trust his guarding capabilities.

Did his forehead feel hot? Was not his throat a little hoarse? He might actually have an ear infection...or a pulled hamstring. Or...or...

But no, just like earlier the zomboil just kept talking. Telling him all about the things that his mother, a female, had done just in preparation for his arrival. She had prepared a room for him to stay in, going so far as to putting in heat units.

Now he had to go, there was no ifs, ands, or buts about it. So he put on a brave smile, trying to ignore his stomach that was distracted anyways as it tied itself in knots, and simply asked a couple of questions. "When are they expecting us? Oh, and how shall we get there? Will I need to meet you by the Undead dormitory?"

He was going to rest up for this trip, who knew if it would even be safe to sleep there.

Alex at this point wouldn't have even been in the least bit surprised if Yin laughed in his face and said there was no way he was going to Alex's house. He could tell that the other boil was getting more and more uncomfortable the more Alex spoke about all the different ghouls that were going to be there. He felt pretty awful for not thinking of telling Yin sooner, but at least he was telling him now, and giving him plenty of time to change his mind about going.

But instead, Yin was asking when they would be going, and Alex answered excitedly and without hesitation "This coming weekend! We're supposed to leave on frightday morning and return on moonday afternoon. We'll have to take the train...have you ever been on a train before?"

He honestly wouldn't even be surprised if Yin didn't know what a train was.

"Ya, if you could meet me at the dorm, that would be great! Going to have to leave pretty early...what time do you normally get up?"

Of course Yin knew what it was to train. However, the way Alexander was going on about it he had the sneaking suspicion that it had nothing to do with fighting. Which was in and of itself somewhat disappointing. And frightday til moonday? That was a total of five days. Which was a total of 3 more shirts than Yin owned that were in acceptable condition. He hoped that he would be able to wash his clothing while they were there, he could always leave a shirt up to dry during the day and change them the next day. He was going to have to train shirtless more often to keep what few clothing items he had in one piece.

So he simply shook his head at the train comment but gave a proper answer to the rest. "I am well accustomed to waking up early. I am typically up a little before dawn, but if we need to meet earlier I shall do so. I shall plan on meeting you then."

He carefully set Princess Eva on the ground and stood, eyes darting outside. "I do not mean to rush you Alexander, but I just remembered that there was a new class I wished to check out today." He held out his hands to help pull the zomboil up to his feet before making his way to the door to open it up as usual. "If I do not see you before then I shall meet you frightday morning." They were meandering through the halls back to the entrance to the monster dormitories when he turned, walking backwards for a short distance so he could look up at the zomboil, trying to show him that he was serious. "If you ever need to find me or simply need somewhere other than your room to stay my door is not locked, and you are welcome there."

Well, maybe not by Princess Eva, but she seemed willing to tolerate him.

"Before dawn will be fine. I don't sleep anyways, so I'll probably just sit outside and read until you get there." So Yin hadn't been on a train before. He got to introduce the other boil to another first then!

He sighed inwardly, his eyes also wandering to the window when Yin's did. Alex's room didn't have windows since it was underground, and he thought that it must be nice to have a view once in a while.

"Ya, I have classes I need to be getting to as well..." Suddenly long fingered hands were in his face and him grabbed ahold of the gratefully, hauling himself to his feet. "If you have any questions before we go, you can always find me in the library." He smiled, though really thought Yin having a phone would be much more convenient.

He grabbed a hold of his things, and followed Yin out the door, but put his skateboard down on the floor again once in the hall way and stepped aboard. He could always hop off again and carry it at the stairs....he didn't think he was near good enough to attempt to ride it down, though the temptation to try was pretty strong.

Somehow though, after falling off in front of Yin that first time on their way to the maul, he didn't think Yin would appreciate the attempt very much. The thought just made him smile more, but once they reached the stairs, he fought off the urge to do something recklessly stupid and carried the skateboard down like a sensible zombie would do, and hopping back on again at the bottom.

Suddenly Yin was turned around, walking backwards to talk to him. On the outside he kept his face blank, though on the inside he had mixed feelings about what the weremantis was telling him. He was basically just giving Alex an open invite to his bedroom, which was pleasing, but at the same time made the zomboil feel faintly uncomfortable. He doubted Yin would have offered if he knew...

but never mind that, because it wasn't even a thought that Alex was going to entertain today. Yin was his best friend, and that was all he could ever hope for. He felt like he should probably say something, so he broke out into a forced grin, hoping that it looked genuine, laughed a little while reaching up to run fingers through his hair (a tell-tale sign he was nervous about something) and answered with as much enthusiasm as he could muster "Thanks, Yin! That's really nice of you...I'll try not to ever be that bothersome though."

They were nearly at the entrance now, which was probably good for Alex because he was suddenly feeling much too warm.

"Your presence does not bother me," the mantodae answered honestly, conveniently skipping over such memories as his chest being torn open by the zomboil. Beside that, maybe if Alexander came to his room he could use Princess Eva's brush, he was always messing with his hair when Yin was around.

But then Yin was opening the door and they were outside, and if the pumpkin sun was any indication he was verging on running late. He smiled apologetically. "I must be off now. Have a good day Alexander." And with that he was gone, running off into the sunset to his class. Whatever "Make a legal document" meant.
