"They did. And I'm not talking about the normal dissipation and respawn sort of killing. Noooooo nonono. Red's gone for good. Permanently," Jericho snarled. It wasn't a pleasant thing to think about. But he could remember hearing the news all too clearly. It had seemed like a sick joke at the time but as student after student returned with the same news, and bringing back shards of what was left of her body, the truth became all too clear.
"The damn boogeymen covered it up too. It might be why you hadn't heard much of any of this," he grumbled.

This boil was snarling. There was some serious pent up anger going on in his head, and suddenly Michi felt rather small. If he decided to walk over and shake her or something, the red skinned ghoul didn't know if she could get away in time. She took a step backwards, that nervous smile still plastered on her face.
"Yes, that's probably exactly why I had no clue when I showed up here at all. No one's said a word about hunters or humans or anything like that to me since I've gotten here. You seem to be the only one with the guts to tell the truth."
Alright, maybe that would appeal to him a little bit better. Maybe he'd calm down if she acted like she believed him completely. Honestly, the red skinned ghoul didn't know what to think. No one else had said a word. Danced around it, yes... maybe. But no one had said anything about humans, or hunters, or anything related to that. She honestly hoped that Jericho would calm down.

Shooting Michi a glance, he let out a light huff at the mention that no one else had said anything of it. Of course. It was a touchy subject. The fools would end up paying for all of this if they didn't get it together.
"I'm not surprised," he said, sounding a little more calm now, "It's little wonder why we struggle with this. No one wants to deal with the problem. But it isn't something people can do on their own."
That wasn't true. But with the way his mind worked right now, it certainly felt that way. He was too weak to do anything and then his fellow peers seemed too scared to stand up. The thought angered him. It was no wonder that very few others could really be trusted right now.

Agreeing with him had gotten him to calm down a little. At least his tone was more even, and he wasn't raising his voice. This was step in the right direction as far as Michi was concerned. She quipped one eyebrow though and couldn't help but ask a question out loud. Maybe he'd take it the wrong way, but she wasn't use to holding back what was on her mind.
"If people can't handle it on their own, why not band together? If you want to kill them all then why not get together a group who can handle it, and go forth with your plan? I always say if you want something, then go out and get it."
She was not one of the ones who would go out and kill them though. Michi was so new it wasn't funny, and ruining her nails in a battle just wasn't her thing... let alone going toe to toe with humans with crazy weapons. She did not like the idea of being a weapon for the rest of forever.
"Or at least prepare others for it, like us new kids," her brow furrowed and she sighed.

"Because quite frankly, everyone's too weak. Always. Even together we do s**t's worth against that lot. And no offense but no amount of extra year one students are going to do a whole lot of good either," Jericho frowned.
"And then you have the lot who are so damn ignorant they can't see the problem before them even when TRYING to prepare them," he growled.
"It's almost pointless!"
The horsemen had already tried to prepare the students against the Hunters. While the effort was nice, it didn't get them anywhere. They all just ended up getting leveled by them in their next encounter. Not to mention that the scythe wielder had single handedly taken on the four heirs and a handful of year two students at once.

It did indeed seem pointless. But getting upset about it seemed just as pointless though. She scowled slightly, and shifted her weight from foot to foot. This talk was frustrating and the red skinned ghoul could feel the beginnings of a headache begin to form. Too much thinking!!
"So everything is pointless, and none of it matters. That's really... helpful. Prepare, look out, but it's all pointless anyway." She shook her head, sending bits of smoke flying about her face in the sudden movement. "Nothing would help then? Absolutely nothing? If they're covering up the news, then get it out. Students might not be able to help, but if the general population of Halloween knew... then maybe something could be done."
Michi knew her own family would do something about it... if they would ever believe it. If the information came from her lips, Michi doubted they would listen. But if it came from someone else, maybe a nice vampire or a reaper or someone respectable looking, then her mother might listen. And she was the head of the family, so she was the only one who mattered. The smoke demoness sure wasn't going to try though. She wasn't sure if she believed it herself.

Jericho actually laughed at that before shaking his head at the demon standing before him.
"If only it were that simple. Out side of this school? Not many believe in much of anything. They see the hunters as being an old wives tale. Nothing more. ALL BLIND. ALL IGNORANT!"
The dragon sneered as he paused at that thought.
"Ignorance is bliss I guess. BUT even if people believe it'd probably just cause a mass panic! That's JUST AS BAD."['color]

Alright, well this started out creepy and was hitting towards silly. Or maybe stupid. Michi wasn't nervous or scared, she was just annoyed. She scowled and shook her head.
"Alright then, consider me warned." But really she was writing it off as stupid. Some silly student being silly, or purposely trying to scare her, the new kid. It wasn't very funny to her in the least bit. Michi tossed her hands up in the air as if to say, whatever, and started to leave.
"See ya 'round, Jericho."

"Good," he said gruffly, but simply. Jericho lingered in the area a little longer, glancing around to see if there were any signs of danger. When he felt it was safe, he went on his own way, opposite of the direction Michi traveled.
