He walked over the draw bridge and into the courtyard, they had been kind enough to lower the bridge as he arrived without him having to shout up to them, he turned to guard who seemed to be patroling the area "Where can I find Corvoala?"

"Inside the Palace, I believe he's reading in the Library," said the man.

"Thanks" He walked inside and around the empty corridors until another guard led him to the library, He walked up to the man reading some old looking book "Hey, Corvoala, heres your treaty" He handed him a crumpled letter he'd been keeping within his armor and looked around "By the way, what happened to those other Semaj's i sent your way?"

"You tell me, the guard you asked was one of them. Though not necessarily a noble, he was very useful," said Corvoala. He was a master at recruiting people anyways, just because he was a little old didn't mean he lost his skill.

"And the captain went back to town, did he?" He looked at him suspiciously, the smell of the sea still lingering with the all to familiar scent of blood "Dont answer, I'd rarther not know. Just tell me what my next job is?"

"You say that like there actually is. You have avenged them, that is all that they would ask of you. If you wish to leave, you may. But should you choose to stay and join us, you are welcome," said Corvoala. That wasn't Corvoala's decision, so there was no need to pretend it was. He got what he needed, his deceased students finally avenged.

"Thats it? Im free" He pulled out a chair and sat down, perhaps this was considered uncultured in some circles but he didnt know better, he laughed slightly "I thought it was going to be fifty tasks, one for each year they had been alive or something stupid like that... but just one for two people" His face became serious as he looked Corvoala in the eye "Did they mean that little to you?"

"Do not dare question what they meant to me. They were my students, like sons to me. I cannot just let you take their place and complete their tasks, it would dishonor them for someone will little experience to complete their true mission," said Corvoala.

"Its a greater dishonor that you, their master would let their enemy live and even go as far as to ask him to join you" He spoke calmly, aware of the dangers around him "I dont regret what I did nor is it my place to avenge those I kill... In future if you want to avenge your students you send someone out for blood" He got up and walked away, there was nothing else that needed to be said

Corvoala sighed, it was the word blood. Blood could not buy happiness, nor would it bring the two rest. His students, he knew them well, he knew that killing was a last resort. Just because their skills were that of a Killer, it didn't mean it was all they could do. The two had virtues that were very difficult to replace. He didn't want them replaced either, he wanted them back. But no, death was irreversible, and should not be changed.
