Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. Oh god. Now Wilson and Reine had angered the farmers. A few of them were still arguing with one another but now Deryk had a feeling it was more along the lines of 'which one of these guys do we kill first?' Yes. That had to be the thing going on here.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHH" he began to flail, "TOOMUCHAGGROTOOMUCHAGGRO! Reine! Reine! Put that sword away! Not gonna help! Outnumbered! Fight monsters! Not humans! They're human! Not monster! Thoughtherewasabigassdogaroundheresomewhere.... BUT STILL. Guys guys guys guysguysguysguysguys laylowpleeaaaseseeeeee. Canwejusthidesomewhereuntiltheyallcalmdown!? Actually. Really want to get out of here. Abort mission! Abort mission! Yes. Can't do anything with angry farmers on our a**. Yes. Comeon! "
Tooley was actually highly amused with everything going on here. She didn't say anything but she was giggling up a storm inside of the death trainee's head.

... Guess she couldn't count on Deryk- the guy was making far less sense than Justin, and that was a remarkable feat, one Reine hadn't expected to be possible. She had no idea what he was blabbering about, and his flailing really didn't help anything, he was probably just attracting more attention...
And speaking of attention, the farmers' shouting had died down a little- now they looked like they were arguing amongst themselves instead. Yessss, her plan was working! Now the enemy was confused, it was time to strike? No wait, they weren't the enemy, they weren't even supposed to be fighting.. they had been tasked with checking out plants.
Maybe it was time to get back on track. Reine hit Deryk on the head with the flat side of the blade, in an attempt to hopefully knock him back to his senses.
"Chill, okay, we've got this under control."

Well, crap. If his teammates hadn't taken so long, he wouldn't have lost all the aggro in the first place. Justin crossed his arms, tanking was serious business.
"Well, we can't just call a wipe because of one person, I mean, I contributed most of the tanking effort, we barely got into the instance." At least Reine had the right idea here, though Justin was getting distracted simply watching Deryk flail - and it looks like the farmers were too.
Wait, wait wait, did his teammate say angry farmers?" The mist trainee 'tank' groaned: and here he thought they were in an instance. All this time they had been attacking angry Chinese gold farmers? No wonder these bubs were pissed. Unphased, Justin used his strategic wit and gaming expertise to figure out a way out of this Awkward Situation. "I'll have you know," he began, raising one finger, "I will be reporting all of you for illegal gold farming after this."
Said farmers blinked, or a couple. One of them took an angry step forward, gibbering something.
Man, now he really wished he spoke Chinese. Said farmer was looking at him almost expectantly. In return, Justin simply forced a smile back, to show them who was boss and that he was a legit gamer of course, making sure to do a full 360 to show off his legit gear before yelling out the only Chinese he knew.
"GUNG HAY FAT BOY."
He hoped he sounded remotely threatening.

Oh god.
Did he just yell "Go gay fat guy" at that angry farmer?
Wash noticed a dog loping away in the distance, but it quickly disappeared from sight, and, after all, they had more pressing issues on hand. What the s**t was a wipe? Was he a surfer or something? Was he implying this mission was a wipeout?
And most importantly, when had this mission become Point Break?
Well, at least he was secure in the knowledge that tetanus shots awaited them back at 'base camp'. Seeing Reine summon her weapon, he called up Sally and strode forward, prepared to use her as some kind of riot shield if need be.
You guys are hilarious.
Wash wasn't entirely sure he disagreed.

Wilson was not enjoying this. He was not enjoying this first external mission at all. His partner’s screeching in his mind only exacerbated his oncoming headache. Wincing, he grabbed his head and shuffled closer to his teammates in a vain attempt for protection from the pointy weapons the farmers brandished. He seemed to have the right idea when Reine chose to summon her weapon, but it only made Wilson gawk. “Wait! No, why’d you summon your weapon? T-There’s no fighting in this mission!” He almost began flailing along with Deryk, but thankfully Wilson managed to stop himself.
A sigh of relief when Wilson watched the farmers quarrel amongst themselves about something, though he couldn’t quite pick out what exactly they were conversing about. He was just glad they weren’t paying attention to him and his teammates. Wilson had absolutely no clue what Justin was talking about (gold farming?) but as long as he wasn’t trying to rile up the farmers, he didn’t mind too much. He did mind, however, when Justin chose to speak in poor Chinese. While he hadn’t expected perfect pronunciation, he hadn’t expected such a blatant butchering of the phrase. “Justin. It’s not boy, it’s choy,” he whispered quietly to Justin.
One of the farmers suddenly snapped at him, pointing an accusing finger at Wilson as he rattled something about being suspicious…? Or something. “…Guys. I’m just…” He started to slowly shuffle away before jumping into a full on sprint for the portal. “I’m going to go ahead! Mission’s over! Abort abort abort!”
How unprofessional.

"No," Reine said firmly, wheeling around and attempting to grab Wilson by the arm. No aborting missions, no giving up, that was simply unprofessional and whatever, you just didn't... couldn't.. what was..
She gawked as Wilson ran back to the portal, completely unamused. She thought he had more fighting spirit in him, more determination! Maybe she needed to reconsider this whole judging people thing. Wash, on the other hand, had joined her and Justin in attempting to push the farmers back or just simply force them to disperse, and she grinned at him, flashing him a thumbs-up.
They could do it, they could finish this mission! All they needed was a bit more data on the plants, right?

Reine wanted to stick to the plan, though Deryk wasn't really sure how much work they could actually do with all the farmers riled up like this. Nervously, he watched them all, while standing in a way that looked like he was going to flee at any moment. They weren't supposed to be fighting people. No. It was the monsters they were to battle, not humans.
Oh man, this mission was a disaster.

As soon as Wilson felt a hand reach out for his arm, he attempted to turn around and slowed to a halt a couple yards away from the group. His eyebrows were deeply furrowed and his lips just as curled. Soon as he saw the expression on Reine’s face, he relaxed his shoulders and threw her a distressed look. “Let’s just wrap this up quickly.” Wilson looked about ready to throw in the towel. Sighing, he placed one hand on Reine’s shoulder and the other on Deryk’s. “Someone remind me to do a mission briefing next time…"

Wash was suddenly surrounded. Maybe summon a hereto-invisible weapon in front of a bunch of angry foreigners wasn't he BEST plan.
Good job. Did you have a plan after you made the guys with pickaxes angry?
"I-"
"Uh-"
"Sir I'm really sorry but-"
"H-HEY!" Cowering behind his shield, he glanced to his comrades for assistance. s**t.

Justin gave Wash an odd look: did they really just bring two tanks into this instance? Man, he should have had a talk with the party leader, it was a good thing his of spec was DPS, of course.
Trying to be civil about the change in plans by dropping the aggro - the angry Asian farmers - to the trainee in the shield, he raised his weapon to do massive damage when-
- A strange shadow of a black dog moved around in the distance.
The Mist trainee promptly lowered his invisible shield and weapon, his eyes growing round, if not sparkling. "I SEE THE INSTANCE BOSS."
