Polaris was thankful for the chuckles, an almost silent sigh of relief escaping her. Even the teasing when it came reassured her, while also of course drawing forth a sheepish and apologetic look.

It was something she hadn't revealed to anyone yet. Not even Niflhel, or rather, especially not Niflhel. Despite the good outcome Polaris was still quite ashamed of the events of that fateful evening. She didn't plan to ever really share it. And yet... She could tell some without telling it all. That probably wouldn't hurt anything. As long as it never got back to 'him'.

"Do not tell Niflhel. Ever. Never ever." The words were stern, her eyes incredibly serious as she attempted to make eye contact and get agreement and assurance.

When she spoke again, her voice had hushed a little, revealing some of the secrets of that night. "I was in a burning building trying to help some people out but the ceiling was starting to cave in and I was afraid they wouldn't make it all." She could still see their faces actually, in certain nightmares she failed at her task. In others she simply saw the outcome that had really come to pass.. a family who had lost their home and their source of livelyhood. "I decided that I needed to stay and make sure they got out no matter what happened. I was fairly certain I wouldn't be making it out."

"I wouldn't have made it out if my star hadn't sent me the power." It was as far she'd go in explaination, she had no interest in divulging anymore. Carefully she started to stand herself, shifting a little on her new and dainty heels.

Once again Acuben caught her by surprise, and she didn't try to hide the look on her face. "We're all reincarnated. Senshi and knights. Atleast our starseeds are reborn."

The poor girl really was in the dark. How many other senshi were as confused and uninformed?

"In the past we all lived on the stars and asteroids and objects that we're named after. Whole civilizations did actually."

"I'm guessing you've never been to your homeworld then?" She hazarded softly. Polaris didn't visit her star nearly as often as some senshi did, but the connection to it was still strong.

Acubens didn't really understand why Polaris didn't want this person to know why she was this beautiful, strong force. But then, maybe she did. She didn't want Alexij to know about her own new-found powers so that she could protect him. She knew that if he did know, he'd want to accompany her on her patrols, putting himself in the line of fire to protect her. Her secrecy kept him safe day in and day out. Maybe it was the same for Polaris.

"I swear, should I meet this person, I won't tell." Acubens traced an X over her heart to show just how serious she was.

"So... royal status is earned. It's not just given at random?" Take that Ganymede. Acubens knew that she was right about the royals. She knew they weren't just air headed a** holes. The thought made her smile brightly. "I knew it."

While the talk of home worlds confused her, she didn't lose her bright smile. She only shook her head, brow furrowing in confusion. "No one ever told me anything. I was awakened by a cat who didn't answer my questions and didn't really know how to deal with me when I got hysteric. I awakened and sort of... broke down, you know? Everything was just sent into chaos around me in a moment and the cat... I can't remember her name... just sort of... let me fall." Acubens shrugged, trying not to let the memory get the better of her.

"All I know about what I am is what I've found out for myself. I can attack twice, three times in an emergency, and that my sphere is Velociraptors. That's it." Acubens winced at how pitifully little she really knew about herself. She'd never before had to actually list them out...

She nodded thankfully to the promise, braids bobbing in the motion. "He's a Saturn knight, dark hair and clothing, fits with a chain." Just an extra precaution and all. Not that she really thought Acubens would be blabbing the extra information to any random unnamed knight she met.

From her encounters with Acuben, Polaris could very much imagine why a cat might have gotten flustered with the young senshi. But she shook her head softly with the thought, feeling slightly ashamed to think such a thing. Even if the other senshi had broken down and freaked out.. it was still totally the cats job to inform her. It seemed as if cats weren't doing a whole lot of that anymore from what she'd seen.

"Astraea used to give us a lot of information. She had a bit of an attitude and wasn't exactly the best at working with people. But atleast she helped fill in some of the blanks." Polaris hadn't seen her in ages though. A worrisome thought.

After a moment her thoughtful frown dissapeared, replaced again by a mild smile. "Would you like me to help you get to your homeworld? I can teach you."

"I can teach you a lot of things" The offer sounded as the princess dress and wings faded away once more, leaving behind the eternal senshi once more.

Sorry this took a while!

Acubens looked up as the dress was fading away, returning Polaris back to her normal self. Well, normal senshi-self, anyway. She logged the information on the knight away, not that she planned on using that information. She wasn't going to tell a soul about the secret Polaris had confided in her. Not only was it a betrayal, but the information would inevitably get down to the knight in question. No. Acubens would not allow that.

The raptor senshi's face lit up at the mention of someone taking her to space. It only increased in wattage as Polaris offered to full on teach Acubens. It made her stumble over words for a long while, starting one statement and finishing another. Sometimes she only got out small fragments of words. Finally she found her voice.

"Th-that would be fantastic!" Her smile threatened to crack her face in two. "Like... more than fantastic. More than I hoped for, actually!" Now Acubens could start chipping away at her questions, little by little. And she finally had an ally.

She finally felt like things were going to turn out alright.
