"Then bodyguarding may be more suited." Aria replied, focusing on this topic. "Like its name suggests, bodyguarding is guarding a body. You make sure nothing harms them and they arrive in one piece. You become a living shield for them. This does mean you need to take hits for them, but you're also responsible for killing and getting rid of any threat. Thing is, rule number one?" Aria smirked, "Always know where your body is. Bodyguarding won't be easy, but it'd beat building walls or waiting to patch someone up. Granted, you probably will have to build defenses for them or patch them up, but it's a bit more of an active role. Sounds up your alley?"

"You'll need to up your training a bit first," Aria cautioned him, "As it sounds to me like you've been... stumbling? Not sure what to do or how to train?" She guessed, recalling their earlier conversation. She was in the same boat herself when she was a trainee, however as the only Mist at the time it was expected. Aria passed Marcus the paper she was writing on. It appeared to be a checklist of some sorts.

"Before you do anything, you should go to the Battle Arena." She began, "There, if you get fifty points and complete a mission you'll receive clearance for basic runic bandages. Being able to heal is always a good idea -- the sooner you get those bandages the better. I'm honestly suprised you haven't gotten them yet myself."

"Next, do either the Moon or Mist training course. You'll need extra practice protecting something, and both courses will offer an opprotunity to do so. Mist moreso, actually. If you do that training course, you'll be one step closer to receiveing clearance for using runic chains. The more tools you have available, the more adaptive you can be in missions. Even if you aren't a Mist, it can't hurt to be adaptive too."

"Afterwards you'll probably be sick of doing training, so you should go on an external mission. Go with someone, and try to protect them the best you can. The less damage they take, the better. Get used to how unpredictable another person can be, especially if they're headstrong and believe they can take care of things themselves."

"After that... Hm. I think that is a good start for you."

Aria nodded, quirking a grin at the compliment. "You're welcome. I suggest you get started on the tasks soon. Let's say... hm. Why don't you come see me in a couple weeks and give me a progress report?" She suggested, "And if you finish the tasks by then, even better."
