Maybe there was something about the new batch of trainees, because Reine was noticing a pattern, they didn't seem to like giving their names, and they all spoke in really weird code. To the point where she was left wondering if she'd missed some kind of memo during the days she'd stayed in her room.
She was starting to feel distinctly uncomfortable now, clearly she needed to read up on something and she hadn't the slightest clue where to start. Deryk was no help, either, and with an exasperated sigh, Reine helped herself to a plastic cup of soda.
What was DPS, what did 'raid' refer to.. had the place really changed so much in three days?!

Lambs huh? Cute, so the were the lambs led to slaughter, (not so cute)? But hey, it fit in some ways. "MIA? Jesus the guy ditches us then vanishes. Maybe he's off fixing his hair." Truthfully Marcus wasn't worried about the death hunter. He'd vanished before and come back bitchy as usual. "I am going to take a shot in the dark and guess the new guy is just as likely to b***h us out? No offense Deryk, death is kinda-" Kind of PMSing. Probably why Julie tried to have him deliver maxi pad to Caelius's room. The new girl got a shrug. Was it the new thing yet was hard to tell. "Speaking of Death, sup Wilson?" Reine got a small wave before-
What the ******** was up with these new trainees. Like, they were a little weird but these guys were taking the mental health crazy cake. ".....You're strange alien language aside, it's nice to meet you. I'm Marcus, moon division. Fair warning, if you see the moon division assistant, Julie, and trust me you will see her, run. Her coat has hearts on it and she tends to wear rainbows. I don't see any sun or mist trainees around, but they could probably give you advice about their own divisions."
A chuckle. "Unless you're all death that is."

Tori had come out of her room to go to the library to do some more reading since she had gotten board in her room of reading and thought that a change of location my be good. To which her partner was glad of and hoped that by the off chance that his little filly get sidetracked into doing something different. But once outside of her room she could see others hanging out and was curious to see what was up. When getting nearer Tori stopped in her tracks as she was getting more nervous with the new people around. She just didn't know what to do or even say if any of the new trainees decided to talk with her.
Aklin said to which Tori ignored her weapons comment. Quickly looking around at the people that had already gathered she knew some of them and others she didn't and then she spotted Reine. Ya a friend she thought and walked over to where Reine was standing. "Hi, Reine. Whats going on?" she asked sounding a little nervous.

"Hey!" Bix rounded the corner, actually fully dressed for the first time in a few days. "Julie is not that bad." He pointed at Marcus. Did Bix have a lingering fondness for Julie? YES. Christmas had been too magical to handle.. and Julie was a part of it for him. He'd never ever say that out loud. "She's fun at least. Hey guys." Bix waved to everyone and sidled up near the pizza. "I heard there's a WoW guy here." Bix's eyes pinned the only guy he didn't know. "You him? ANY NEW PATCHES OR EXPANSIONS?!?!" Bix had no idea how long the guy had been in his pod. He didn't really care. GEEK OUT TIME.

Marcus was not amused. "Sure you didn't accidentally eat those infatuation inducing cookies?"

Another new girl entered, and Reine waved at her, before noticing Marcus. She followed behind him, moving back to the group that had gathered in an attempt to follow the one thread of conversation she'd managed to grab at.
Caelius disappearing... hrm. She was sure he was.. somewhere, probably; if the death division leader couldn't handle one horseman, how were they supposed to stand a chance against all four, if it came to it..? Shoving the thought aside, she took another gulp of soda. Tori had found her way to the gathering, as well, and Reine was glad to see her friend around.
"We're just meeting the newbies," she explained, smiling. What was going on? Reine had no idea, honestly, and so she nudged Deryk, the only other person who seemed to understand all this strange talk, and was even contributing to it- maybe he could clue her in.
"What're they talking about?!"

"Hm? Oh. Possibly a game of some sort. Terms used are used commonly in MMO's. Especially WoW. Different classes have different functions, similar to how our divisions are. Example. Ofelia mentioned DPS. If referring to division, she should be Sun. DPS. Damage per second. People who dish out the pain. So yes. Sun division," he explained, getting a little on the ramblely side before finally pausing, "Raids. Basically having a group of people and taking on an instance or something. Missions in our case. Only you know. More dangerous. Whatnot."

He smiled and waved at Reine. “Hey!” Then Wilson took a large bite out of his pizza and as he continued to chew added, “Dunno. I’m sure the other newbies will show up soon.” A shrug before he leaned over to retrieve a cup of soda.
“Hasn’t returned yet? I wonder if he’s alright.” Wilson frowned. As much as he disliked the man, it wasn’t enough to be joyous over Caelius’ possible death, especially when his absence did not equal a new, nicer Death leader. Stacey didn’t sound all too promising in that aspect. Sigh. At the mention of raid group Wilson paused his eating and followed Deryk’s gaze at Justin and Ofelia. “Raid group?” He repeated. What kind of jargon was this man spewing? Deciding that he wasn’t going to ask at the moment, he noticed Sydney and waved her over. “Hey! Nice to see you again.” A couple other familiar faces entered the room and Wilson politely wave to both Bix and Tori.
Then Deryk started explaining. Wilson kept smiling, but it was clear the death trainee was only spewing more jargon to him. “That’s uh…great Deryk, really great.” He was just going to stand here and eat pizza while you talk about WoW and whatever.

Mmmm Pizza. There wasn't a nicer smell in the world in Michael's opinion.
<<Yeah there is, it's called scorched flesh from where I've zapped someones a**.>>
Ok ew, he didn't need that mental image when he was about to eat. Thanks a lot Nuu. Now he felt faintly queezy.
<<No problem!>>
Michael barley resisted the temptation to swat the damn glow stick where he hung on his neck. For his excellent show of restraint he got the mental equivalent of a poked out tongue.
Luckily before it could develop into a full blown mental argument as it had several times already he heard someone mention Moon Division.
Turning his attention towards Marcus he started to make his way over to get the best tips on his division when the rest of what the senior said registered. He paused mid step with a look of deep trepidation on his face which only grew worse as another senior got into the argument over this 'Julie'.
.....please tell him he hadn't gotten the crazy division.

"I'm surprised there are so few, honestly," she shrugged at Wilson. "I think there were more of us? I don't know how many to expect in terms of numbers, though." There wasn't a single person she recognised so far, from the trial; and she had been on pod duty long enough to be able to pick out their faces once she saw them.
Probably not a good idea to tell them 'I was watching you sleep,' she thought. Creepy...
Deryk's explanation made things slightly clearer.. just slightly. It was probably the same as if she tried to explain PCR to them or something, the difference was that she didn't pepper her normal speech with all those strange terms...
"Still sorta.. uh, recovering from the last.. raid, yeah," she tried, looking at Deryk to see if she was getting the term right.

Library, library. She knew there was one around here somewhere. After all, what academy didn't have a library? That was just stupid (at least, in Ami's mind it was. Any place without a library was unfit for society).
< What's that noise? >
"I don't know Jumpy," Ami said. There was no on in the halls at the moment, and she was beginning to get used to this mind-voice thing. After all, it was hard not to when the voice wouldn't shut up.
< Junpei. > he corrected. < Please can we see what's up? It sounds fun! >
She shook her head. Of course not. It was probably some gathering that she wasn't invited to. She was used to it.
< Pleaseeeeeeeee. > God he could be annoying.
"Fine." Ami walked past the room. Lots of people. Seriously. Oh no no no. No way in hell she was going in there. Okay we've seen our share, we're done. Her feet were already carrying her out the door.
< But Amiiiii. >

Deryk stared at Wilson and Reine. They didn't quite look like they got it. Oh well.
"Don't try too hard," he said to Reine. While she had used it right, it sounded kinda forced.

"Ah I see. I take it they only awoke recently as I haven't left my room too much," Tori said to Reine spending most of that time reading a lot and healing.
Tori gave a little smile and waved back to Wilson and waved to Bix. She didn't have any clue to what they had been talking about even hearing what Deryk told Reine. Getting some soda and drinking it as she was content in listening to what the others were saying still nervous and unsure what to say to the others.

Sydney gave Wilson a small wave and a hint of a smile as she headed for the pizza as well. It seemed that this party was meant for her and the others who had recently awoken. That meant it would be impolite not to at least take some of the food.
Izy said.
If you're teasing me, I swear--
She inwardly sighed, feeling a headache coming on from all his double speech, then grabbing a plate as she decided to ignore him. She didn't realize that she hadn't said a word, thanks to the ongoing conversation with her partner.
