Biskoto hissed happily, more than comfortable with letting Hel hold her and give her all the affection; it was nice to have someone other than Thanatos to fuss over her! While the Valkyrie's words made her look to her reaper with concern, she decided to stay quiet and let him deal with the information.
"Oh?" He seemed a little taken aback at how strongly she felt about the subject, although his expression soon returned to a somewhat neutral one. It seemed pretty obvious to him that something big must had happened, to illicit such a reaction from someone...
"If they are real," He chose his words carefully, speaking slowly as he tried to figure out what his take on this new piece of information was, "Why hadn't anyone announced it publicly yet? Worried about the backlash?"

Hel happily kept her hands on Biskoto has she spoke. If anything, it helped the ghoul from flying off the handle about the subject. Biskoto was so nice and cool and comforting…
“Not if.” Hel stressed, her brows furrowing as she stared up at Thanatos. The ghoul gave a careful shrug of her shoulders as to not disrupt the familiar resting on them. “Hell if I know, friend. That might be a possibility. I do not understand what the advantages are of keeping it secret…I believe knowledge is power in this case…regardless…all the students here know.” Hel glanced off to the side, thoughtful, before looking back up at him. “…A lot of students are actually very…wary of disclosing information to new students…because the Hunters have the ability to…blend in and look just like us…I trust you though…well…because of Biskoto.” She pet the snake affectionately. “I do not believe Hunters could falsify such a stunning creature.”

"Sssshe called me sssstunning!" Biskoto echoed, happy despite the grave nature of the topic they were currently discussing; good to take delight in the simple things in life, after all!
Thanatos, on the other hand, was quiet. There were many things running through his mind, but he appeared neutral on the outside, even if there was a mild frown tugging at his lips; hunters being real was something he had never even considered. They had always been referred to as characters from stories rather than anything even remotely real.
"Is that so?" He finally spoke after a long pause, gently patting on the part of Biskoto that was currently wrapped around his arm, "I am thankful to her then... And I will keep what you had told me in mind. Thank you." He still didn't believe her entirely, but he could see that she was being very serious - which was why he was also willing to take his seriously.
"However, I think it's about time we go back to our room," He offered her a smile, "There are still a lot of things i have to unpack."
The familiar just looked up at him, and for a moment, almost looked like she was pouting. After a moment, she just nodded, giving the Valkyrie one last nuzzle on her cheek before withdrawing back to Thanatos, making one loose loop around the back of his neck before resting entirely on his shoulder, peering at Hel from her perch, "You can come vissssit usss anytime!"

Hel wasn’t surprised that Thanatos fell quiet. It was rather heavy information after all…but she would have been upset if she knew that he didn’t completely believe her. It would be a fool’s folly to not take this seriously…and finally believing right when it happened…it’d be too late then!
The reaper looked a bit disappointed as well when he announced he’d be returning to his room…with Biskoto. Aww. Hel gave the snake another fond pat before she let her retreat back to her master. “…Ah, understood, friend!” The ghoul gave a firm nod of her head. “Settling in is very important…but I shall see you both around, yes?” A small grin pulled at her lips and she laughed lightly. “Ah yes…I will come and visit!”

"Of course... I look forward to seeing you around," He replied with a smile, bowing his head once before turning to exit the common room. Although Biskoto didn't have hands to wave goodbye with, that didn't stop her from finding an alternative; she used her tail instead.
"Ssssee you, darling!" She called out right before she vanished into the corridor, glad that Thanatos managed to get along with the first person they met... Even if said person gave them some very grave news.
For Thanatos, it just meant that he had agreed to attend the right school.

Hel blinked as Biskoto ‘waved’ at her, and waved at the snake in return until she and her master disappeared around the corridor. Well…that had taken up some time…but now what was she doing to do? Oh…walk she supposed!
That she did, reflecting on the new faces, and new friends, she was making at Amity thus far despite the situation they were in.
