It was strange - this beacon of warmth and encouragement seemed so despondent, almost outright sad about what they were and what their future would hold. Nolan nodded slightly at the teenager's words, though he had little in the way of response to offer; he knew too little, and had been around for such a short time that there was much he didn't grasp. Even the concept of offering comfort was still foreign to him.

"Some day," he agreed in a noncommittal manner, dipping his head in understanding. Adjusting the hat over his horns, he also turned to the side to bid the teenager farewell, lifting a gloved hand. "Thanks for your time, Ziya." Struggling for a moment, Nolan added, "I hope to see you again." And he did. He felt that he could learn a lot from the blonde - not just about what they were, but about life and expectation in general, things Tesla seemed to hesitate to expand upon. Maybe later, he'd seek out the teenager himself, but for now...he was content to have met him, having much to consider.
