Maya peeked at him over her paws and shrugged " i don't know, but i certainly don't like it" she said, sniffing indignantly once she had brushed all the powder off.

"You, um, you missed a spot. Here." Tenka reached over and dusted a spot near Maya's ear. His tail fluffed, and he looked embarrassed.
((I'm writing fluffing as the equivalent of blushing here. Of course, he also fluffs when threatened, to look bigger, but here it is just a blush reaction.))

Tenka slicked his tail down. "Ah, um, well...." Tenka paused, then said all in a rush "youaretheprettiestEmolgaI'veevermet." His tail fluffed again.

Now it was her tail that fluffed in embarrassment, she had heard his perfectly " oh" she said, taking a moment to try futilely to smooth out her tail. She gave up after a moment and turned back to look at him shyly. She shot froward and licked his cheek then turned her head away and covered her face with her tail, which had fluffed up even more

Tenka was sure his tail must have fluffed out bigger than his entire body by now. Maya liked him! Tentatively, he leaned forward, used his paw to push a little of Maya's tail fluff down, and gave her a return lick to the cheek.

Maya smiled shyly at him then scurried away and leapt off the table " come on, let find something else to investigate!" She called over her shoudler

"Okay!" Tenka leaped off the table after Maya, catching air with his cape. He'd follow Maya anywhere!

Maya sniffed around, looking for anything else that might be interesting. She made her way over to the counter where Nurse Joy would normally stand and jumped up peering around curiously "I wonder if there's anything over here?"
(sorry i poofed, i realized i was late to work ^^;

Tenka followed Maya up onto the counter. "I don't know, I'm usually either in my pokeball or really tired when I'm over here. I've never gotten to look around."

Maya's eyes settled on a cup of pens and pencils and she made her way over. " Any idea what these are used for?" she asked looking over at Tenka

"I don't know." Tenka nibbled on one of the pencils. "Oooh, this feels really nice to chew on!" he told Maya. "I'm pretty sure they aren't food, though."
((Rodent! And even being human, pencils just feel nice to chew on, even if they aren't food!))

Maya sniffed at another pencil and picked it up " i think it might be made of wood?" she gave it another sniff before chewing on it herself " your right, it does feel nice!"

Tenka gnawed on his pencil, tipping the sharpened point to rub against the counter as he did so. The graphite left a mark, and Tenka tilted his head the other way and saw it. Experimentally, he rubbed the sharpened end against the counter again. It left another mark. "Hey, look! It makes marks!" Tenka demonstrated by rubbing the sharp end against the counter once more.

Maya blinked and rubbed the tip of hers as well " wow, that's kind of weird." she said but continued to make marks
