"Ugh, leech seed, then," Ms. Sparkles gave up trying to hold her Pokemon back.
Chromatic gleefully pranced towards the Archen, and planted a seed when she passed by.

Kishin flinched slightly as the attack hit, but was surprised when it only seemed to sting a little. Did the attack fail?
Arissa wasn't really sure of all of Kishin's attacks, but she had a few in mind that she'd wanted to try. She quickly thought through those and said, "Kishin, stand fast with Steel Wing!"
Kishin planted her feet firmly and flapped her wings as her feathers were covered with a metallic sheen.
Arissa thought that was an interesting effect, though she wasn't sure how she could use it yet.

Kishin couldn't help giggling at being tickled. she said cheerfully.
"Hmm...now try Ancientpower," Arissa called.
Kishin shifted her stance only slightly, but she suddenly had an aura of great age and power.
Arissa found that very impressive, and immediately started trying to figure out how she could use it in a contest.

Arissa decided she should leave testing out new moves later, when she'd looked them up a bit more. For now, she may as well stick with the ones she'd used already. "Acrobatics again! Show them your moves!"
Kishin paused very slightly, wondering what her trainer meant by the second comment. Show them? Show off, maybe? So she figured she'd try something a little different with the attack. She dashed forward for the attack, then leaped into the air and did a small flip before diving down to strike at the Whimsicott.
"Yeah, that's the way!" Arissa cheered, delighted. That was a much more impressive execution!

"Absorb more energy!" commanded Ms. Sparkles.
Kishin was nearby, making herself an easy target for Chromatic's absorb attack.

Kishin shivered as she felt her energy being sapped.
"More Acrobatics!" Arissa cheered.
Kishin had certainly noticed that her trainer liked the flashier attack, so she tried to do more of the same. She hop-skip-bounced around her opponent for a moment before pouncing, flaring her wings out dramatically shortly before landing.

Arissa paused at the sight of the Whimsicott's wool getting even fluffier. She wasn't entirely sure what that did, but she had a feeling she wouldn't like it. Was there a way to stop her? She cast about wildly for something that would work and blurted out, "Kishin, Swagger!"
Kishin started strutting around in a jeering, stuck-up manner that was entirely unlike her.

Arissa was disappointed that Chromatic didn't seem to react to Kishin's latest attack. Should she try again? She dithered for a moment before blurting, "Try another Swagger!"
Kishin had paused in her strutting and posturing, but she quickly resumed. This time she threw in a few mocking faces for good measure.
