Oh gosh. I hate stuff like that. =_= I can't STAND illiteracy. I have grammer OCD. If I notice something I have to fix it or else I go mad. Though I wouldn't ban someone for something like that. The guild probebly was a waste of your time.

Acheta Hello there Wuppa. I actually completely agree with you. Every roleplay guild has it's illiterate writers. (The vocaloid roleplay guild we're both in does too, and I'm actually getting kind pissed off about it, but they can't really help it either.) I know I'm not the best writer myself, but I try to learn and get better. I think you did something good by trying to help the people in that guild. And it's just really stupid and immature from that captain to ban you for trying to help. Hey! I remember you! You play a great Ted btw. I agree with you agreeing with me, and I couldn't even speak to her, such repulsion. Ugh, it still gets me hot.

DearestDoormat I would make the argument that most people on Gaia are illiterate idiots.
You have to research places before you join. It shouldn't be like that, but it is. I mean, I wouldn't even bother RPing with someone who can't be bothered to learn how to type, spell, or use grammar. I judge people, honestly, and when online, one of the most obvious indicators of someone is how they type. So, when someone doesn't type properly, I assume they're an unintelligent child. /mean
I've quit a RPing guild before that 1) was an exact rip-off of the guild I came from, where they had gone in and invited all the active members to try and steal them away, and 2) had taken images of characters from the internet to use instead of drawing/commissioning their own and then banned us if we happened to use the same image.
People are just stupid. Did that actually happen to you? That's horrible. But to be fair the home page said ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about RP style, none at all. Do you mind if I use that nifty little type thing at the end of your post? It looks cool and I wanted to ask before I did something like that since...it's courtesy.

A Lonely Leaf I don't think they should have banned you, but I think it should be clear if an rp is lit or not before you join so you don't waste your time. I like lit, but sometimes it takes so long to reply or something. Semi-lit and lower at least has you going. I think the lit levels just cater to different audiences. I think it's best in the middle, but I've never actually seen or read a mid level rp. I do love me some Kingdom Hearts! heart I totally understand with your statement, however it wasn't stated at all in the Guild on how to RP there so I have been going on blind. If I had to guess what Literacy they had it would be Adv-lit at best. I see no one trying hard and here I come with my two paragraph post that's like...foreign to them or something.

Miss Emni Rose Ahem. I have been moping about things like this for a while, and I have a brilliantly evil plan.
Make a new Gaian. Don't put a whole lot of thought behind it, just do it real quick. Then, join the guild, Then, fill it with terrible roleplaying. And I mean absolutely TERRIBLE roleplyaing. And when they ask you to clean up your act...Tell them something about how you come to Gaia to have fun, not to write essays for school.
I don't even know if this is legal...But it sure did make me feel better just thinking about it.
So, answer: Just think evil plans on how to ruin their lives, then move on. Or actually put the evil plans to work. Either way, it is SO. Freaking. Fun! Naughty child! rofl I think that'll get you banned, because of the spamming etc, but to keep myself safe I'd say go try it out. I should do that, but that'd get me in the wrong direction. Thanks though.

I completely agree with you. You were just suggesting help after all. Besides, I honestly do not see how one liners are considered 'fun'.. That sounds utterly boring to me. I'm a very literate roleplayer and I hate it when people join my roleplays (Even though in my rules, I clearly state you have to be lit/ semi-lit to join ) And they end up being one liners, written in text talk or some s**t like that. It's like SERIOUSLY. If you are to damn lazy to get off your fat ares and write a bit more detail, then why do you even call yourself a creative writer!? Jeezz Mahhnn, not cool. B|
Anyways, my point stated... I agree with you, you shouldn't have been banned, yadda yadda.
Oh and everyone else who's commenting on here about how she's wrong and how she should just deal with it, you all need to shut up because she's just venting. If you haven't noticed, this is what this subforum is for. So shut up. ._.
