Chloe gritted her teeth as she saw the ice splinter and crack slightly, probably from the attack that had just landed. "Come on Shimmer, you can do it!" She cried desperately, "Break free!"

The mew could feel herself getting stronger, slowly but surely. She used the grass attack again. She could see and hear the ice weakening, but she would have to make the most of it until Shimmer could move.

With a resounding crack Shimmer managed to break free of the ice and let out a loud cry, "Laaaaa!" She screamed and fired another bright beam straight at the Mew.

"Good try, Shimmer!" Chloe flinched as she slumped over, clearly beaten and unable to continue the fight. She recalled her to her pokeball and tossed out Bandit, "Go on Bandit, use Pursuit!"
"Bli!" Bandit burst forth from his Ultraball and charged straight at Shadow, a dark energy giving him speed as he went.

Bandit sprawled across the arena and let out a sharp cry of pain as the ground beneath him hit home right in his stomach, sending him flying. When he finally rose to his feet he ran straight at the mew, a fire in his eyes and anger radiating from every pore of his body.

Zinnia could see that Shadow was getting tired... It was just about time to call her back and let Zyk finish up. But Zyk would still be at a disadvantage, so she had to ask Shadow to use a little bit more of her strength. "Earth Power!"
