He steadied himself and aimed his attack. "Bulba!!!" he said, releasing a spray of sharp leaves.

Tenka twisted to the side, barely dodging. But it was enough. "Aerial Ace!" Shina called triumphantly. Weakened by poison, exhausted, but still ready to fight on, Tenka obeyed.

DERPED - Ignore dice roll.
That last attack was just too much for the little bulbasaur. He held out as long as he could, but fainted after the emolga's aerial ace. Moncho gave it all he had but just didn't quite have enough in him to win this battle. Zephrayne was still proud of him. "Good job Moncho. Return, and rest up." She smiled at him as he was called back into his pokeball and then looked across the field to her opponent. "Great battle," she said walking over to her, extending her hand in good sportsmanship. "I'll have to have a rematch sometime though." She laughed and smiled widely.

Shina shook the other trainer's hand. "Of course. Thank you the battle, that really was a close one!" Tenka glided over, landing on Shina's shoulder. He was panting heavily, and was clearly exhausted. Shina rubbed his head with her free hand. "I'm sure Tenka would be happy to battle your Bulbasaur again sometime. After a good rest, of course."

"Yes, definitely." She tapped the pokeball lightly. "I'm gonna get this one home and healed up, then give him a nice big treat for a great attempt." She turned to leave. "See ya around!"

"Have a nice day!" Shina called to the departing trainer, and took her own leave. Tenka needed a Pokemon center.
