“Ah well that’s easy to explain. The weather was just so nice that it called out for me to come out and enjoy it. Plus I have always found that some alone time from my family is alwas needed for my health and sanity. Though I do love my entire family, they can be a bit pesky.”
Padma reflected for a bit on Near other words. “I believe part of the pleasure of eating is looking and smelling the food. Your food looks and smells amazing and gives off the impression of a good meal. Even if your food looked questionable instead of delicious. I would still eat the food with enjoyment because it showed that you thought of me.” Padma smiled.

With a smile, Near curled her tail around her, relaxing gently. It seemed Padma was starting to ease her nervousness, her eyes curiously peering at him. Finally, quietly, she smiled. "I hope it tastes good." She whispered, tail wagging suddenly.
"P-Padma. You're very p-pretty." She whispered, enviously peering at his coat, then looking at her vines with ears flopped down.

“Oh why thank you and your coat is just as lovely ,” Padma surprised a bit and Near words and unsure how to act. Padma impression of Near was she was quite shy, so he was astonished by her boldness. Hiding his stunned expression he turned towards the food. Padma took a bite and hummed in pleasure. “This is so good! You’re just as good of a cook as I thought. “He wiggled in excitement as he continued to eat Near delicious food. “Thank you Near, is there anything I can do for you to express my thanks? “

Giggling slightly, Near blushed darker, tail flipping in-front of her face. "Really? It is?" Pride surged in her heart before she caught his question, head quickly shaking side to side. "Uhm, no. The fact you like it is good enough for me. I never get to have people outside my family taste the food, it's a relief that it actually tastes good."
Happily sighing, the female watched Padma quietly before laying on her stomach, her tail draping over her side.

Padma gazed at Near’s blushing face and found her rosy cheeks to be quite cute. “Well I agree it’s always good to get an outside view on skills. Family will often treat others members differently than they would outside family members. My mother Tambre can be quite harsh and wouldn’t hesitate to tell another noodle their faults but everything her mate and kits do is also right and perfect in her mind. “ Padma reflected.

Looking up, her head tilted, tail wrapping around her body. "What is your family like?" She whispered, folding her paws. Raising her paws, she began to nervously stroke her braid, occasionally flipping her braid from paw to paw. Hrm. She hadn't taken it out in a long time....
Looking up, she smiled to herself. Padma would be kinda adorable with braided hair... it almost made her want to try it out.

My family very big but I’ve never felt much of a need to interact with the larger family. My mother tambre has some bad blood between her and her mother and one of the sisters. My mothers and my sister are all that I need though I do respect and love the Pardus side of my family. My older sister Pandora is lively and cute. My mother Tambre can be aggressive but adores her family and my mother Sabine has a fascination towards flowers. She’s a bit on the shy side to those outside her family but is quite in control of her small family. Both my moms are felines and never thought they would settle into a permanent family but my mother’s deeply fell in love with one another and I just hope that someday I will a loving mate bond like my parents have.

Smiling at his story, she rested her head on her paws, tail wagging gently. "You sound like you have a happy family." She mused, throwing her braid over her shoulder. "I'm sure you'll find a loving mate." She whispered, smiling warmly, not as shy as she had been before. "You seem kind, I doubt you'll be alone for long."
Alone? Was that the proper word? "I meant single. You aren't truly alone if you have a kind family. I'm sorry for my misuse of words." His story reminded her of her own family, smiling wide.

Padma heartily laughed,” Some say the first words are the more honest ones but I’ve never felt alone. My family has always been around me and I’ve always had females making some kind advance at me. Sometimes the females are very subtle and sometimes they’re extremely forward. “ Padma looked at Near he felt very safe around her as if she was nice for the sake of being nice not for some alterative motive. “Near were really going to have to break you out of the habit of apologizing for everything. “ Padma pondered a bit, “Let’s create a self talk statemen. I am a beautiful feline who strong and confident! Now when you feel unsure repeat that statement in your mind.”

Blinking at him, her head tilted slightly before she suddenly let out a soft laugh. "I am a beautiful feline who is strong and confident." She shook her head at the male, amused and yet thankful at the same time. "I'll remember that." She whispered gently, offering a warm smile. "I guess I got the habit of apologizing as a kit. I'm so-"
She cut herself off, shaking her head and laughing once more. Ah, they had a long road ahead of them. Watching the man, her head raised to look at the sky, frowning gently. "It'll be dark soon...." If she left, would she see him again?

Yes it’s almost night Padma smiled as he narrowed his eyes. “There is always much fun to be found under a moonlit sky. Do you like to play when it get dark and the crickets &frogs greet each other? My mothers always taught me the importance of play and how special night time playing could become. But I think they were partial to night time play because they could sneak away for a few minutes and enjoy being by themselves. “

"Play?"
She blinked at the male, nodding gently. Memories of her and Selee playing together caused a gentle smile to touch her face, tail twitching. "Yes. Selee always played with me as a kit, and still does at times. We enjoyed night because it hid our bright colors best, and I always loved those little bugs that lighted up."
Her tail gently thumped against the ground, looking up at the sky once more. Eyes flicking to view Padma she tilted her head gently. "Would you like to walk home with me? Maybe.... when... when you get bored someday then you'll know where I live and can visit? O-only if you want too..." Her nerves had gotten to her again. What if he thought she was weird? Oh....

“Sure I’d love to walk you home. I know you can take care of yourself but I’d feel like less of a gentlemen if I didn’t walk you home. Besides sometimes dangers can be found and not all noodles are as kind and sweet as you are Near. “Padma closed his eyes and concentrated on sending his magic around the perimeter of the forest path. Opening his golden eyes he stared at Near, “I don’t sense any nearby noodles with a crazed mind or dangerous intent. However I’d feel safer if I escorted such a lovely lady like yourself to your home and I’ll keep in mind what you said. If I get bored I shall call on you and have you save me from my tedious boredom.”

Smiling at the male, she watched him close her eyes. Magic, she could almost sense it. A tiny grin wavered on her mouth, reminded of her mother Nyx and her magical abilities. Tail flicking gently, she looked up, deciding one day she'd show her own ability.
Looking to the side, Near clawed gently at the ground before responding. "Thank you." She nervously chirped back, pleased that he agreed. Mama Nyx would freak when she saw Padma and probably demand the boy visit again.

“Oh you’re welcome and it’s not every day that I can escort a female home and I want to make sure she is safe on my watch. Plus performing this type of magic is rewarding in itself. Practice makes perfect unless you my big sister Pandora then practice, stubbornness and a wish to the heavens are required to have any hope her spells will take. Well even if my kitty blood hardly shows I’m very proud that my magical strength is strong and true. “
