Another shimmering attack from the Mew. Chromatic watched as the sparkles floated around before knocking the air out of her.
"Ah, your health isn't doing so well, Chromatic! Try Mega Drain!" said Ms. Sparkles, hoping the extra health boost might help a bit.
Chromatic didn't need to dash close to her opponent this time, and it suit her just as well. Her body glowed, healing herself as she drained the Mew's health.

"Use Fury Cutter!" Zinnia called out.
Shadow flew forward again, having recovered somewhat from the previous attack. She felt some of her energy be drained away, but swiped at Chromatic with everything she had.

Chromatic anticipated the Mew's attack, and sprang out of the way before her claws reached her.
"Nice dodge! Give her a U-turn!" Ms. Sparkles strained her neck for a better view of the fight.
The grass Pokemon lowered her horns, and gave the Mew another headbutt.

Shadow Mew felt the last of her strength drain away as she was unable to dodge the next powerful attack. Her vision went blurry and dark, and the world seemed to tilt. Still, she retreated as quickly as she could, and made it to the edge of the trees before she fell unconscious.
"Oh no! Shadow!" Zinnia gasped upon seeing the defeated mew. She quickly pulled out her masterball and recalled Shadow to it. "Good job! Thanks for the fight!" Zinnia shouted hastily to the other side of the stadium before making for the exit. She had to get to the pokecenter!

The Mew seemed to still, as Ms. Sparkles watched from the trainer's platform.
"D-did we win?" She was shaking with excitement. Did they really win their first battle, and one with a legendary, at that?!
She ran onto the field, gave the tired Chromatic a hug for a job well done, and put her back in the Pokeball.
