She hadn't even thought about using a mirror- her mindset was more along the lines of the fact that she could go invisible. She pondered silently to herself, wondering if any of her teammates had ever used the fact that they could mirrorwalk to their advantage when it came to theft. Then she realized that next to murder and torture? A few stolen items were nothing in comparison to the things she and the Blood Moon Court had done. Maybe it was time for her to reconsider her morals.
That would be another thought for another time, however.
Quinn glanced at Veer as they quickly moved across the street; she most definitely checked before she went even if he didn't. "You look nervous," she said lightly as they entered the restaurant. "You're a lot less nervous when I'm hitting you," she said, her tone dripping in mockery, a smug smile on her face. "Or when cat food is involved."

A pause, at that -- and then in an exaggeration of courtly graces, he got the door for her, not quite bowing as he held it open. It was easier, yes, when she was hitting him, when they were teasing, when they were fighting a little bit. Easier...
"It's less that. It's more the whole you-acting-like-a-girl thing." He said it with innocent eyes as he straightened, waiting for her to slip in before he followed her, a hand smoothing over his hair. Now the tension had nothing to do with nerves.
It had to do with the fact that he expected her to hit him, obviously.
"I'm not used to that part."
