Herryk peered intently at Jericho's chest, eyeing the mark.
"Herryk does not know what this means. Why is it there? What does this mark of Riley do?"
It was pretty safe to say that Herryk was not well-schooled in the ways of demons and their marks. In fact, Herryk was pretty clueless about the topic entirely.

Blinking for a moment, Jericho paused in his work to think of how to put it.
"Oh. All demons are capable of marking. The mark basically symbolizes a sort of contract between the demon and the marked one. It basically binds the two to this contract," he explained. Herryk must not have known much about demons.
"The degree of the contract varies. In general, it's good to be a little wary when making deals with demons. Just make sure you know what you're getting into. I don't know too many demons at this school that would really try to swindle other students though. "
