Venice could almost spit with rage! Here wasn't the crazed master-mind after all! But a mindless pathetic goon following orders! He wasn't messing with her head, he was truly scared and frightened, he wasn't even fighting back. He was...crying. It just didn't compute.
"I..I can't see.....how....no, why do you think you are helping? Your causing all the pain and suffering to this people! You! You and your stupid, irresponsible Dark Senshi! Can you not see the evil you are feeding? CAN'T YOU SEE!"
She had to look away from him. She couldn't decide. Was it the aching thought of her having beat up someone who hadn't actually deserved it? Or was it because he was so weak he did nothing to prevent it? She couldn't decide but had had enough. Her fingers found the gap between her eyes and she rubbed until it hurt, as if the pain would get her thoughts back in order. Her breathing was normal again, she was normal again. Everything was going to be ok.
"Senshi.... Unless your prepared to back up your words with fists...am giving you till the count of five to get the hell out of this alley way. I don't want to see your worthless face ever again. You got that? If I do.....if I ever do. I wont stop. I wont ever stop."
Her back was still turned but her words were sharp and fierce and echoed against the walls. She didn't want to see him again, if she didn't face him she didnt need to know the extent of what she had done. She didnt ever want to know.
"........One
two............"

Virtus couldn't see it. Evil? No, they weren't evil. They were doing good, what they felt they needed to do. He was doing as he was told, because he had made a promise.
And that was a deal he could not go back on.
He believed her words, though.
"I'm sorry!" He yelped as he scrambled to feet that felt like lead, and legs that felt like jelly. He ran as hard as they would take him, falling over quite a few times in his blind panic to get away from her before he heard her reach the number five.
White Moon Senshi were horrible/i]. At the moment, he couldn't even see the silver lining, he couldn't give them the benefit of the doubt. She had managed to shut off his ever optimistic attitude for at least the moment, as he found a new alley to stumble into and curl up into a ball to hide in. He powered down, not bothering to make sure he was absolutely alone.
All he could do was shiver and cry, then pass out eventually as darkness crashed over him.

Ate felt his presence slip away, the hurried apology and the gasping breath as he fled the scene. It took all her worth not to turn around and give chase. What was she doing? Was it worse that she just let a Dark Mirror Senshi go? To continue his treatment of the innocent? Or had she done the right thing and saved herself from an act she wasn't quite ready to commit. Could she kill someone like that? Someone who couldn't even raise a fist in protest? She didn't know, didn't want to know.
Right now she felt like her tears waging a battle against her ducts but now wasn't the time. Not over this. Things were only just starting and one day she would have to make a decision to kill or be killed.
It was only a chance that it was today.
Hand shaking she leaned back against the wall and breathed out slow and steady. She will be ready next time. She must forget the human face in front of the evil. It was a mask, a mask to hide their true feelings.
Just like her own.
