Bell could only give a loud, furious squawk at Niji's words. He always seemed to know how to push her buttons! He was only adding fuel to her fire. She focused her power into one wing and aimed to slap him across the face.

Bell was already feeling fatigued, but her frustration only grew. She staggered back from the centrifugal force of the Iron Tail, but threw herself back at Niji fearlessly. "You should learn to run away from your betters!" she shouted.

Niji sidestepped the infuriated charge, giving Bell a swat to the rear as she went by to send her on her way. "Were you hit by too many Psybeams as a chick, or do you just not listen to yourself?" Niji asked incredulously. "I was sleeping. Sleeping. I had no idea your crazy self was anywhere nearby!"

Bell gave another outraged squawk as Niji thwapped her rump. That was going too far! What a sleazy eevee, flirting with her, and now this! She whirled around angrily and aimed a kick at his face, talons extended.

Niji yelped and backed up, before aiming another Iron Tail at his foe. What on earth had he done to get this insane female to chase after him and attack him like this?!

Bell was forced away from Niji once again as his hardened tail hit her. "I'm not crazy!" she added, punctuating this claim with another Focus Punch. Perhaps she would be better off returning to the north after all, where she had hatched from her egg. Wild pokemon are more aggressive than tame ones in general, but it seemed to Bell that Niji and others that she had fought were still soft. Up in the icy mountains, life as a wild pokemon was even more cruel. Niji wouldn't have lasted a day there! But she wasn't about to leave her beautiful berry bushes for desolate snow and dangerous winds, not just because some crybaby eevee didn't like fighting her.

"I'm pretty sure sane isn't the right term for you either!" Niji snarled. On the plus side, he was now quite warm, he reflected as he attacked. On the other hand, he had already been comfortable before the crazy delibird came by, so he hadn't really improved his situation any.

Bell quickly leaped into the air, flapping up above Niji's head and avoiding the attack. Unfortunately, she hadn't thought her dodging maneuver all the way through; up in the air and outside of the shelter the tree and bushes provided, she quickly got all wet again. "Well you're a creep!" she countered, quickly diving at Niji again, shooting one wing out at him at the last moment.

"Because you keep... flirting with me!" Bell grunted as she was hit. She probably shouldn't be distracting herself with conversation during a battle, but she was tired of his attitude.
