"Gangrel! Dodge it, and follow up with another Rock Smash!"
Gangrel flipped himself behind another tombstone, touching it as he vaulted over. Shaking and rumbling, it extracted itself from the ground to reveal two mischevious red orbs. The orbs narrowed to slits as the tombstone shot towards Meksuda.

Meksuda couldn't stop himself in time, and wound up running head-on into a tombstone as he tried to attack the rattata. Growling, he stumbled back and shook his head, glancing around for the rat. He saw the red orbs, and his eyes widened. He tried immediately to run to the left to avoid the attack, but didn't move fast enough.
Meksuda went backwards, snarling a little as the rock struck him, and stood unsteadily for a moment, shaking his head sharply and growling towards Gangrel. Jenk watched, jaw clenched slightly, and frowned a little before she called her attack. They needed to get back onto their winning streak; Meksuda could do this. She had faith.
He just needed to have a little faith, too. "Iron Tail, Mek!"
Meksuda ran at the Rattata, tail already stiffening as he ran for the rat. He leapt over the remaining rubble from the tombstone that Gangrel had thrown, and spun to whip Gangrel with his tail.

Gangrel was shot backwards from the force of Meksuda's iron tail. A slam resounded in the darkness as he crashed into a tombstone, breaking it from the force. The broken bit rose up, glowing in the shadows of the gnarled tree. Gangrel got to his feet as steadily as he could, willing the tombstone towards the eevee.

Meksuda had an inkling as to what the rat was planning, and luckily his instincts were spot on; as the tombstone hurled itself at him, the Eevee leapt to the side, rolling to dodge the attack. With no heed to his trainer except to note that she was not calling out an attack, Meksuda leapt forward, running at the rat with his mouth wide open, fangs ready to clamp into its fur with another Bite attack.

Gangrel hissed at the eevee as it bit into him. The rest of the tombstone flew into the air, shooting down towards the duo as Gangrel freed himself, leaping backwards.

Meksuda hit the ground as the tombstone flew at him once more. This time, he didn't move fast enough to dodge the attack. Growling as he straightened up, he shot at the rat as Jenk called out another attack; "Headbutt!" He lowered his head as he ran at Gangrel, eyes focused on striking his opponent down.

Gangrel flew back from the eevee's strike, twisting in the air as Walpurgis called for another rock smash. Touching down on a tombstone, he sent it flying at Meksuda, chattering angrily.

The tombstone hit Meksuda hard before he had a chance to dodge it and, for a moment, the Eevee was dazed. He shook it off quickly when he heard Jenk's sharp whistle and command, and leapt at the rat once more, jaw open to clamp down on Gangrel and give him a good shake.

Gangrel hissed through the pain, his fangs growing exponentially. He opened wide, hoping to deliver a crushing bite of his own.

The crushing bite was enough to knock the Eevee down. Struggle as he did to get up, eventually, Jenk watched as Meksuda dropped, fainted. She smiled a little in spite of the loss, and held up his Pokeball to withdraw the pokemon. "Good battle." She said from her side, nodding to Walpurgis. "Might have to find you for a rematch." With a small smile, she nodded to her opponent and walked off the platform, pocketing Meksuda's Pokeball. He'd done well.
