This sounds fun~!

So I had a dream I was like at this big dance hall (Real classy, lemme tell ya) it was about like 12am, so like it was dark. This bald man comes in on his jeep and asks me if I needed a ride and so I asked him who he was and he said 'I'm a friend of your dad's.' So I was like okay, pretty legit.

So we end up in this ,like, small house thing my dad worked at apparently and when I came in I heard a gunshot and my dad fell, and suddenly I was on my knees crying with red blood on my white skirt. I understood that the bald guy came and killed my dad and then I woke up.

I was like mindblown since I hadn't watched any movies that day, and I had that dream when I was like 10 or something. It's been bothering me. And the jeep was so vivid and so was the bald guy. I have more dreams, but one at a time seems nice.

"People might look at you a bit funny, but it's okay..."

Sounds like someone violated your trust at one point. I feel like it could be something relatively minor or something that was very painful and hurtful. I'm leaning toward the more extreme side because it sounded like you were very hurt when your dad was killed. Your dad here represents something you entrusted another person with the care of, and they didn't choose to respect that, and/or decided to destroy whatever it was. I don't know if the man being bald has any significance. They say faces in dreams are faces you've seen in real life, so you've probably seen this bald man once before and just don't remember it.

A Lonely Leaf
What does it mean when you think you wake up in your dream, but you don't and you 'wake up' multiple times? Also, I had a dream that came true once before when I was eight and it came true when I was twelve so I wonder if that's common or not. I just thought I'd ask that before I post my dream.

In this dream, I'm playing a mmo called Lord of the Rings on the computer. My character is in some kind of bar or tavern and then something happens and I'm suddenly in a hotel building. I am in a group with some people I've never met in my life, but they are my friends in the dream. There were white people, black people, hispanic people, pretty much every skin color was there.

So, I wonder where I am so I go from the lobby to the front door. There's a wooden sign facing diagonal to the door that reads Arkansas Hotel or something like that. It's made of logs and there is green pasture outside around the hotel and a mountain. I have no idea what topography Arkansas but whatever.

I go back to my 'friends' and it's like we're in some kind of field trip. We're wearing matching shirts, white, but I can't remember anything else. So we're led by a leader figure to some lunch hall. The line looks like a rollercoaster ride with those long metal bar things and we're a big crowd. While I'm in line, a friend asks me something about acting and I say something about a disney show called Phil of the Future. I think I said I was in the show.

Then, I get my lunch and somehow get lost and I can't find anyone. I try to look for anyone of my friends, but they went ahead somewhere and I couldn't find them. So I go outside and it's sun set, but it's a park or beach outside. I just remember sand and a table bench seat.

I see an old middle school friend who I hadn't seen or spoken to in a long time. He is dressed in green colors. We talk, but I don't remember exactly what was said except we caught up with one another. Then, he has to leave so he leaves and I start to go back to the hotel, but I trip on a step leading down. I fall on the concrete stair (I'm still outside in the park/ or beach area).

Then I woke up.

"People might look at you a bit funny, but it's okay..."

That's called a false awakening, and there's no need to worry as it's a relatively common phenomenon.

About your dream though, it's kind of hard for me to find any distinct significance to the dream. However, you shouldn't feel bad. People have dreams all the time that simply don't make sense or have no continuity, or rather don't refer to anything in real life.

Just to be certain, throughout this entire dream, you are playing the same game, correct?

For that segment, yes. But the majority of the dream took place in the hotel place I mentioned. And it never resurfaced in my dream. It was just none sense. lol

Well, I'm glad you tried.

Thanks a lot man, that was helpful. Even so maybe a few years after my mom told me one of my cousins started being a little snitch too! Thank you so much.

platsdevil
I had this dream awhile ago, like maybe six months ago but it was probably the most vivid dream I have ever had and it was...well i'll just write it.

So it starts out with me in this room. There are around 20 people in the rooms with me, none that I can recognize from my everyday life. In the middle of the room there's a large glowing table with schematics covering everying inch though i can't remember of what. There was this whole feeling of sadness in the air and a resolve and goodbye too. I think it was that feeling at the end of a movie where you know everyone has their final mission and has their final purpose but you know that no one is going to make it.

I was just standing there in the very beginning of the dream over the table looking at the people around me and then down at the bright table. Then i said something like "It's time." I hugged a few people that I still really couldn't recognize but I knew they were my very close friends and wished them solemn luck and then that part of the dream vanished.

Next I was walking as fast as i could. I remember there was a tall white fence on my right leading up to the bend behind this rust red house (it's been six months and i can still remember every detail, thats how vivid this dream was...)

So i take a left still following the fence and find myself behind the house. This is the slightly strange part.

There are thousand of black plastic bag, like the giant garbage bags, hanging from white string thats criss cross overhead. There was a good amount of space between the house and the fence where there was just this forest of these black bags hanging everywhere. And there were a lot, you couldn't see through them at all.

So anyway, I start pushing myself through the black bag forest as fast as possible because i know I have to get somewhere urgently. I just kept going and pretty soon i couldn't see the house or the fence, just the bags. I had been doing this for a awhile and finally hoping that I might make it to wherever I was supposed to be when i turned a different way through the bags and find myself at the end of a gun.

The person holding the gun was a woman. She was wearing this bright red jacket with a black collar and she had the most twisted grin of triumph on her face. I was literally staring down the barrel of her gun and i knew i was caught and was going to die.

At this point I think she said something like "Now you'll finally know how it feels to die too." Something like that...

And then it was like the sound on the stereo was turned up, screams and explosions were happening all around me. I knew we had lost and I just stared back at the gun.

This was probably the worst part. I just kept staring at the gun, waiting for it to go off, and i could feel my heart stop and a hard pressure on my chest. I was sweating and not exactally shaking but I was so damn scared... Just waiting to die and knowing she was going to make me feel that clenching terror for as long as she liked. Then i saw her smile and she pulled the trigger and I flew out of bed wih my eyes wide, it was so scary...

That was the worst dream I had ever had and I'm not sure if you cold make any sense of it, but i just wanted to share it. I told my best friend but somehow i think i told it better here. Thanks...

Just trying to remember it to write it here has my heart scared...Thanks.

"People might look at you a bit funny, but it's okay..."

The opening segment sounded like it was the precursor to a suicide mission. This sounds like you may in real life have to make some tough sacrifices. I'm not exactly sure but I think the rest of the dream, like the plastic bags and the shotgun, were just for theatrical effect, or to emphasize how much of a sacrifice you personally were making. Also possibly they could be trying to stress the amount of struggle you went through to reach a critical point only to fail along with your friends. I think your "friends" here are more specifically people you rely on for help in times of need, and your dream is telling you that in this scenario you're helpless.

Can I ask about a dream someone else had that I have no idea about?
Well... set of dreams would probably be a better way to put it, but it's about the same.

My dad, sister and I were on a train heading somewhere to look for jobs. We thought the train was normal, nothing out of the ordinary, when suddenly, the train started to fly! It sped across the blue sky, chugging its way to its destination (though its destination was not our own). We were amazed that it had flown when we landed on the tracks. It seemed we were at a place was isolated, but we got off the train and a lady greeted us with a warming smile. She gave us a small tour, making us all feel comfortable to make us apply for the job. She showed us the marvelous things that the employees did.I had a terrible feeling, though no one caught on to it, and I hid it well. I felt there was a terrible secret that was not meant to be leaked, but I plotted.

I saw someone exit a barn looking thing and I suspected that they were not hiring employees but abducting people as slaves. I decided to leave after the tour, though everybody else decided to go to the small store that was nearby, even though it was miles away from civilization.

I knew that they would kill me off if they caught me to make it look like I had escaped, so I trusted no one and kept up my guard. I saw the train we had arrived on, knowing the conductor would not let me leave, so I ran away.

I had come back with the armed forces, ready to attack the slave holders, but they knew I would come back with an army, so they hid; however, I knew where they were hiding, and I knew where they hid the slaves as well. I knew they would also set up traps and make it look like they were victims. I saw the bad people's hiding place and saw a big lock on the door that concealed them. I told them to shoot down the door so no one would be killed trying to open the door and they did. We saw the bad people, but the people kept saying they were the good guys and that I was the bad guy. I knew the the slaves were in the secret room behind the wall, so I carefully made my way, knowing that I would be killed if I made the wrong move. I was scared, but I did my duty and revealed the slaves.

I woke up after that, but the reason I knew that they would not let us go and keep as as slaves was because I said "Oh yeah, I had a dream about this before!"

The first thing I noticed is that it seems like you're not in control of the direction of your own life, and maybe your family isn't really either. You started headed towards something you want and you inexplicably veered into another direction. With the help of a friend, however, you were able to vanquish the evil awaiting you at this other direction. Does this dream remind you of how Odysseus defeated the lotus-eaters in the Odyssey?

In my dream, they decided to reduce the population of the world by starving everyone until half the people died. Also there was some kind of factory/theater thing that acted as the setting and I didn't actually see anyone suffer or die. The bad news just hung over everyone.

We're having group presentation for a class at another student's house. The
groups are guys vs. girls. We're all seated in a circle in the living room with
computer monitors in front of us. The girls group opt to go first and they show
their presentation. Then after they sit down, the girl sitting on my right,
decides to go to the washroom. Then when the guys group goes, they
always have some sort of complication uploading their presentation.
Suddenly the power goes out, and the house goes dead, it's still daytime
outside, so it's not too dark. After a while of waiting, the power still hasn't
come back on, and the girl who went to the bathroom still hasn't come back
(she's been gone for a while). Every so often a student or two will go to look
for her, but none of them ever come back. Eventually two-thirds of the class
has left. Then out of no where, the remaining students hear a gunshot!
Someone starts to walk down the stairs, leading to the living room, and we all
watch worried who it could be. It's a ventriloquist dummy with a shotgun
(walking on it's own), and it's coming for the rest of us. We all run downstairs
to the basement but it follows us. People are running, screaming for their
lives, but it shoots them down one by one. Some of us manage to run up to
the second floor, locking ourselves in the first bedroom from the stairs. While
we hide silently in the room, we hear footsteps walking up the stairs. When it
fails to open the locked door, it shoots the door open, and then opens fire on
the room. I manage to sneak down to the main floor while it's happening, and
I call out, looking for anyone who needs help. Someone answers my call, but
he only speaks some Asian language, and with the language difference and
the sound of gunshots stopping, I decide to leave him. I race towards the
door, there's two of them now side-by-side, and I exit the one I came in
through, but now there's a fence along the walkway blocking me in! Unsure if
the dummy's come back down to the main floor or not, I risk running back in
and leave through the other door. Screaming as loud as I can, I manage to
open the door and run past the walkway and through the street.

Well, that sounds like your average horror movie if you ask me. You're attacking a dummy, which seems to metaphorically say that you're fighting some kind of problem that someone created, and now you have to deal with it.

in my dream, i live in russia, and the only adult left is the king. he keeps all the children in a room, and we perform swan lake every day. he picks the best, most advanced dancers each performance and kills them; that way, he can keep us from becoming adults. once he's brainwashed this system into our heads, he's going to kill himself. i just got picked to be the black swan, so i'm going to die next.

on a side note, what are you using/doing to analyze these? a book, or is it just something you've learned?

All right, so it was a series of dreams that all started with a giant land fill that she said her and her cousin and 2 random people are dumpster diving in it. There are two bodies in there. A guy who is all dead and a little girl who is almost dead. There was something about a place like a hospital without any doctors and furniture or anything. Her mum showed up in one dream to help her with the kid. The 2 random people never showed up anywhere except the landfill. She said that the kid stayed with her because it kept appearing and some days it looked better off than others.

That's all I can remember being told without really looking for the papers it was drawn out on.

It's confusing to me and has been going on since January.
