Hearing Luka extend the second invitation, Leo’s lips tugged up at the corner before he made his way back to the kitchen area, putting a kettle on the stove and setting up the heat. ”Ethiriel actually isn’t big on eating, but she likes hot water,” he informed; it wouldn’t take long for the water to heat up.

”So far I have… not found nourishment in food.”

After the kettle rang, it was decided that the two Freis would sit along at the table and join conversation; get familiar with one another now that they were the closest thing to family Leo had in so long. He was grateful, Ethiriel’s presence alone made a definite improvement – he might have still been the type to keep himself at home and working at all times, but at least he wasn’t alone. Dinner discussions were all over the place: work, schooling, the Raevens in their care and much more, keeping them at the table long after their meals were finished. After some time the humans and Raevens paired up respectively, separating into their own discussions and company. It was nice, something Leo wasn’t used to in his years of traveling and now he knew he would enjoy having a somewhat permanent home.

Invitations were extended for further visits, possibly in the near future if things were calm enough, and the two were escorted out before things got too late. Ethiriel retired for the night and Leo returned to his work.
