The stallion whinied out a laugh and he tossed his head, snorting as he shook his mane from his face, bright eyes almost glowing. His white markings shone like stars. "I can't really say. I just have... charisma, I suppose?" he asked cutely. His ears flicked back against his head and he tipped his head in thought.

Aven laughed with him, a true laugh, outright and loud. "That must be it Raz, you are quite full of charisma." She looked at the stallion as his laughter died away. He was a really sweet male, and a true gentleman. She was glad to have his company.

Razvan offered a quiet, easy smile at her response. It came naturally. A gift from his father, he knew. His sister had their mother's quiet, calm serenity and the sweet innocence that covered years of knowledge with a mask few saw past without invitation.
He missed his sister, but she was a big mare now. She had a husband and she was happy. At least, that's what he thought. As they walked, they neared his own home, and a letter sat on the doorstep. It went without notice for a time, but when he saw it, he froze.
He lived on the river's edge because he loved the sound of the water, but in that moment, all sound fell away. The hand that had written the address on the envelope had been shaking, and the smears told him the mearh had been crying. Despite the shake of the hand that wrote it, he could still tell the soft, curved script was that of his sister.
The breath flooded from him and a sense of dread touched his heart as he lifted the envelope in his hand, smelling the sorrow coming off of it in waves. His icy gaze grew worried and his body was tense. He turned uncertain eyes to Aven. Something is wrong... he said quietly.

Aven stopped curiously as they stopped by what she could only assume was his home. She watched his face as he picked up an envelope that had been left at his door. She watched as his own face began to fall. When he mentioned that something was wrong she didn't miss a beat. "Is there anything I can do?" She laid a soft hand on his shoulder to try and give some kind of comfort.
