Cass walked into the house feeling fairly accomplished. It sounded as if they finally had a buyer for the shop. "Gwen? I'm home!" he called into the large house. He heard no response, except for his mother's student. He decided to go looking for his wife, who he found in the library. "Thought I'd find you here," he said as he kissed her on the cheek.

Gwen smiled as Cass came into the library. "How did it go today?" she inquired as she put back the book she had been looking at.

Cass smiled. "Pretty well, I may have actually found a new owner," he replied. "Have you heard anything on my application?"

"Nothing yet dear," Gwen sighed. She hoped that Cass would have a new job by the time the shop had finally been sold. "But I do have something else to tell you." A smile crept across the woman's face. She had been waiting all day to tell her husband the news.

 Lockhart The large majestic bird swooped into the window with a black ribbon on his left leg. There was a rolled up parchment with the giant letter B on the top of the paper as the same on the ribbon. The note read as.......

Your family is invited to attend the Benster family ball. This will take place at the Benster Family Home in the town of Ilkly from August 18, 2012(8:00pm est) till August 20, 2012(8:00pm est). Please send a note back with the owl to let us know if can attend.
This event is black tie and we will be dancing, eating, and conversing with many people. Anyone in the family may come and may bring dates if they would like.

After the deliveiry was made the majestic bird flew off the window seal and made his way back home.

Cass looked up as an owl flew in. "Now what could that be?" he asked as he went over to the bird. He hadn't seen it before, yet that didn't mean the owner was a stranger to him.

Gwen sighed. Cass never could sit still for long. The owl just had to arrive now, in the middle of something highly important. "Cassius, whatever it is, it's not nearly important as what I'm trying to tell you!" the former Ravenclaw yelled as she took her husband by the hand, forcing him to look her in the eyes. "We're going to be parents."

"P-parents?" the man managed to say. To say he was in shock would be an understatement. He couldn't believe that he was going to be a father. "Are you serious? I mean are you really?" Cass took a seat on the floor. He needed time to take this all in.

Gwen nodded as she joined her husband on the floor. He seemed to be shaking. "I wanted to wait to tell you until I was sure," she replied. "Isn't it wonderful? Of course if they end up with your sense of humor, we'll be in trouble." The woman laughed. Cass was quite the trouble maker in his youth.
"Now about that owl," she said as she grabbed the letter from the table. "A ball. Doesn't that sound lovely? I don't think I'll be telling anyone quite yet. I might wait until the wedding to do that."
