Alex bit her lip to hold back a giggle at May's mewling. It was so unexpected and cute that it was all she could do not to laugh. "Your welcome doll it is not a problem I promise." she said with a smile. "Me? oh no reason just out wondering. Taking a break from being around my father's tribe."

Doll? May had never been called that before. Was it a good thing or a bad thing. May turned her head to look up at Alex. She was relieved to see the smile. Doll must be a good thing she decided. May wasn’t sure if she was still on gypsy land or not, had she wondered off onto another tribes land by accident? “Your father’s tribe? Is he a part of the gypsy tribe or did I wander off the land gypsy is staying on?”

Alex shook her head no. "Sorry Hun but as far as I know your not anywhere near Gypsy land. Though if you keep heading south you will run into the Omaticaya tribe which is my father's tribe." She gave may a friendly smile. "Though I'd be careful wandering around there. They aren't hostile or anything just cautious of outsiders."

What's a hun? Is that like a doll? May’s ears dropped down so that they were exactly level with either side of her head. “Oh my… that’s not good… I am definitely lost then.” May looked around in a few different directions not sure which way was south. “I’ll try to be careful.” May looked at Alex earnestly before getting up and flicking her paw toward the ground to get some more slime off it. “Though I’m not good at it apparently. ”

"It might not be good but it's certainly not bad. Bad would be walking into a hostile tribes territory." Alex said trying to reassure her that she really hadn't messed up. "I don't think you have to be careful of the tribe they are pretty well mannered though of course you have to be careful of other dangers but those are all pretty common," she laughed a little figuring that she was rambling. Yeah she did that from time to time she knew. Waving her paw she tried to dismiss that May wasn't good at being careful but what did she know? She didn't know her but from what she seen she didn't think that she was clumsy or anything.

She listened with care to what the other vixen was saying. Alex seemed very nice. “You’re right that would be much, much worse.” She nodded exuberantly to what the green vixen said. “Oh. Alright so it sounds like your father’s tribe is nice enough. I promise I’ll be careful of all the other things that could umm be out there.” What those would be May had no idea but she at least wanted to try and be vigilant. The dark pads of her feet felt a bit squishy in the dirt. May’s emerald eyes sought out Alex’s violet ones. “What kinds of dangers are common if you don’t mind me asking. I want to know what to look out for.”

Alex gazed back at May as she started to notice what the other vixen looked like under all that slime.... it made her wonder what she looked like completely clean.. hmmm. She was a bit dazed thinking about it till May called for her attention. "Hmm? Oh you know big cats panthers and other things bears I'm sure. Cliff's edges you gotta watch out for and fast moving rivers things like that."

Being oblivious to being observed the blue vixen thought over what Alex said. “Oh! I never even thought about bears. I hope I don’t meet one.” She looked around like a bear might pop out behind any bush or blade of grass nearby. Unconsciously she moved closer to the green vixen. Once she realized what she was doing she blushed and moved back. “Sorry. I’m not very worldly and I’m not used to having to watch out for things. My mom and dad raised me in a really safe area of the mountains.”

Alexandra chuckled softly to herself knowing May had missed her checking her out. "Yeah my parents taught me and my siblings about all sorts of other animals that hunt other animals. In other words that anything that could hunt us." She noticed the other vixen looked a bit freaked out and paranoid. "I'm sure there aren't any bears around and if there was we'd hear them approaching. Oh? That's interesting and different from how I was raised. What was it like?"

Alexandra’s words did make May feel a little bit better. She wondered what else she should know but missed growing up where she did. “Well my mother and father raised me in a big dip in the mountain top” May made a dent in the ground to show what she meant. “in that place there is a large body of water and a lot of flowers that bloom every year. They are the color of my mother’s and my fur.” May tapped the blue part of her fur. In truth the flowers were a little purpler like her mother’s paws but it was close enough that May had grown up feeling like a flower child. Her mother even called her that from time to time.

Alexandra watched May intently to make sure she understood perfectly. "That's cool. My dad's tribe has a bunch of flowers too. Though they are really bright and colorful. What happened if it rained?" She was curious cause she knew that the water wouldn't be able to run down hill being in a dent like that.

“All the water goes into a lake in the center. The water is really cold. I think there’s a spring in the bottom because it hardly ever floods in the field. What are the flowers like in your father’s tirbe?” May was mesmerized by flowers and wanted to know what all the different flowers in the world looked like.

"Really? That sounds cool. It must be nice to have a cold lake there in the summer time right?" She asked than looked back at May. "Hey lets go find a place with cleaner water to clean you up and I'll tell you about the flower on the way kay?"

“It would be I suppose but we live up high enough there’s always a bit of a chill in the air. It doesn’t seem to bother my mother or father though.” May looked down at her fur and had to hold back a grimace. She could still see clumps of now drying pond sum in her fur. She looked at Alex and nodded happy enough at the idea of cleaning up. Hearing about the flower would be a wonderful bonus.

"Hmm I'm not sure how I'd feel about a chill but that's probably because I pretty much grew up in a tropical rainforest." Alexandra commented as she stood up and gestured with her head for Maya to follow her. "So the flowers. Some are purple like you with that deep color. Others are lighter like this pink color on my sister. It's pretty cool. Some even seem to glow at night."
