Orion nodded softly then suddenly felt concerned... he looked at his own wings, they were transparent and thin, not at all like Eden's feathery master piece. "I.... don't know how I will keep her warm." He wasn't trying to get rid of his responsibilies... he just.... didn't know how he could help, do the best for his new little friend. He gulped, feeling utterly out of his depth... was this how he a new father felt?

Eden smiled and nuzled him softly. "Well we can see if she is warm enough with your mane, you have plenty of that to make a little nest for her with for now. But don't worry too much I'm here to help." Bot wanting to take over but if Orion had trouble looking after the little one she could offer a warm place for her at least. "Though we will need some extra cloth for one of my ideas...." Not wanting to take his blindfold away, kowing how unsure of himself he was without it.

Orion nodded and smiled softly, "Ok... I trust you." He did, it was wierd to think that once before he only trusted two individuals... His mother and Lior.... now he truest Eden, and with that came her family, and although he was still working on it he suspected that one day he would come to trust them too. That reminded him about what he wanted to tell her.... "I want...." He paused, for a moment worried that she wouldn't want him that close to her all the time.... he pushed through it though and continued what he was saying. "...to move in with you on the herdlands." He would go anywhere, including the middle... whatever made Eden happy would make him happy.

His words made her blink, she definately hadn't been expecting that today but it also made her smile. A huge joyful smile spreasing over her mouth as the surprise from his words faded. "My mother told me about a spot that was near the herd but secluded so we have some privacy... Would you like to see it? Maybe decide if its somewhere you could settle? The herd lands are quite big, but so is the herd so theres not really any deserted areas. But this one should be quiet enough for us." She would take him to that place and a few others, see if he felt comfortable in them, she knew this was a big step for him.

Orion shook his head, he didn't know what possessed him to say the words but they came out none the less; "I don't need to see it. It's perfect.... you're perfect." While he still felt brave enough he continued on with his little determined speech; "I want to have children with you Eden... some day I mean, doesn't have to be right now or anything... you know.... em...." He started to get flustered and a soft bkush covered his cheeks. Deciding it was best to stop talking he did just that.

Eden had to blink again, Orion was all surprises today. She smiled and nuled him, giving him a soft kiss on the cheek. "Look at me... please..." Her voice very gentle and loving, wanting him to meet her eyes, even if just for a little while. Her eyes soft when he looked her way finally. Very slowly and carefully uncovering his eyes just enough so that she could see his lovely silver ones. Meeting them softly. "Thats what I hope for too one day. Its what I found I hoped for the day I said yes I'd be your mate... One day we will have foals, beautiful foals, ones as lovely inside and out as you Orion." She knew her words would make him uncomfortable but it was how she saw him... Ok so he had little hook things on his wings, and sure such thigns didn't make most think of safe happy homes... But that was a very small part of Orion, the rest was gentle and sweet and beautiful. And one day she wanted sons and daughters just like their father. Her eyes very soft, nuzzling him gently and meeting his gaze again. "You don't need to be embarassed with me, I love you, and I want to know what your thinking or wanting." Going quiet, her bigest wish was to make him happy. Looking at his blindfold thinking she should tug that back into place.

Orion looked at Eden, not ashamed or embarrassed at all when she lowered his blind fold... some how, when she did it he still felt safe. His silver eyes sparkled out of his dark pelt and look at her with all the love he felt in his heart. "I do not deserve you Eden." He said before grinning, "But I have no intention of ever letting you go now."
Who would have believed that Orion.... kid who fled and ran from most things ... was stood here having the most sincer adult conversation of his life. The sky was the limit.. and how fitting that now he would carry Sky around with him. He smiled at that, she really did care, and he found he cared for both of them in return. "So....." He said, watching her for a while longer before breaking the silence, "Shall we put this plan into action then?"
Orion spotted her brief look at his blindfold and some how he knew her intent, to return it.... yet, he also saw the other part of her, the part that liked to see his eyes... and since it was Eden he shook his head causing the cloth to slip so it hung around his neck. Around her he would not hide anymore. They had forever together... and today was simply another step on the path of their life.

Eden smiled as he shook his head. She was ecstatic in ways she hadn't really thought she could be. Pulling some more cloth from where it had been tucked into the ribbons on her leg. Using the long band of fabric to make a sling around his neck. Taking the time to move his blindfold to where he could easily get at it without disturbing the sling. Blushing a little as she starts to put as much of his mane as she could into the sling, making something sot and hopefully warm for Sky. Also adding some of her own feathers to the little sling, not loosing anything that wont grow back, she was always loosing feathers anyway. Smiling after a while. "There I think that should do it."

Orion tried to stay as still as he could while she went around her work. He wanted to hold his breath but the fear that he wouldn't be able to hold it for long and end up jolting everything kept him from doing so. He watched Eden go about her work... she was magnificent. Agile mind, sharp, keen.... all the things he wasn't and more. Her scent filled his nose and he could just imagine burying his face in her hair. Once she stood back to inspect her work he tried to look down but couldn't really see anything. Still he knew it would be perfect. "Thank you." He said, smiling at her.... "For everything."

Eden gave him a grin, and moved so that she could lift her wing and move close enough, giving Sky a small nudge with her nose to move into her new home. Mving again her wings folded normally as she gave Orion a kiss, letting the small bird settle. "For you anything, and you are very welcome." She was pleased that he seemed to be taking to the idea of having a companion, and her heart of hearts told her Sky would be ideal for Orion in many ways.

Orion watched at the small fragile bird was pushed from her warm spot on Eden to him...and for a moment he panicked. What was he meant to do now? What if he jolted her from her new 'nest'... ahhhhhh.... he screamed in his mind but stayed still so that the bird wouldn't fall as she transfered from his mate to himself. He did gulp and looked down to see some blue and black feathers..... this was it..... she was now his responsibility. He gulped again. "Well.... I guess...." His head went blank so he simply turned and kissed his mate. She would always be there he was sure.
"Why don't you show me your homeland?" He said with a smile hoping that it would please her to do so. They had forever to get to know each other to learn the others quirks, likes and dislikes... and Orion wanted it all and more.
