While Teak was watching Bath's face, Bath was watching his. Do I show that much emotion? He thought he was good at hiding his emotions, but months in this place must have dulled his control. He resolved to keep his face as calm and expressionless as possible. He would not be caught crying as Teak was, even a little bit. He'd learned that he needed to avoid that a long time ago.
He straightened his face out, assuming a blank expression as he pushed that thought as far to the back of his mind as it would go. He would not think about that, and he would not shiver at that memory. Calmly, he said, "I know a few movies. Mostly sh--schlock. Action movies, a few sci-fi. I don't have any favorites, though." He was surprised to hear that Teak didn't have a favorite. Surely he/she would watch romantic comedies or something, or maybe superhero movies. Definitely superhero movies. Much as I don't want to give Teak ideas or make him/her feel bad if he/she isn't as good as the character in the movie, maybe he/she'd like it.

A blank expression something that this little fox needed to master and soon. Superhero were better at there job when they master the blank expression. He frown and mimic the facial expression that his friend was given. It was hard, it seem that Teak show emotion a lot, most a time a happy but silly grin. He couldn't help it. He thought that when others saw that happy grin it would make them happy. But he guess that wasn't the fact.
"Schlock?"he let out, just trying to gain the words in his mouth. He had never heard of movies like that before, though he didn't really watch movies but that really didn't matter. "What's that Bath?" he said blinking rather confused. "I guess...I mean we could watch that since I haven't even heard of it. I like new things." he said with a soft smile.

Teak was a nice...person...and wouldn't be the sort to mock someone else, so it confused Bath to see Teak attempt to imitate his pokerface. It looked almost like he/she was in some sort of embarrassing pain he/she was prepared to tough out. Why am I still trying to understand Teak? I'm never going to. He tried to stifle a sigh, no matter how much his chest begged to be allowed to release all of its air in one relaxing sound. Teak would probably take offense or think he was mad at him/her if he tried to do that. Pussyfooting around wasn't always Bath's preferred strategy, but it would seem that he'd need to practice it more.
"Schlock. It's a polite way of saying 'garbage,' 'trash,' and a couple other words that aren't polite." It was clear that Teak didn't like swearing. He popped a couple kernels of popcorn in his mouth and swallowed them before continuing. "I don't like the 'good stuff'--you know, with good acting and directing and...stuff. I like entertaining better than good. I don't think you'd like the sort of movies I watch, though. Lots of violence and stuff."

Garbage, trash, and a couple of other words? He wasn't sure what to say to all of that. It surely wasn't something that he watch when he did watch movies but maybe it was good if his only friend like it? Maybe? He wasn't sure but he knew that he wanted to leave this kitchen as soon as possible as it will feeling up in all the awkwardness that he was letting out of his body. He smiled up to his face, releasing the mimic face he was trying to do. It was a failure on his account and he knew that he would have to work on that a lot more if he wanted to become a better super hero. Actually he had to work on a lot of stuff know that he thought about it if he wanted to become a better superhero. He sighed a bit and shook his head. This kitchen was really doing something with him because he had never thought about all of this before or maybe it was something else. No he shook that thought away and smiled again to cover the thought and all that came with it.
"Um...you know! That sounds wonderful" he lied. He felt bad for lying, heck this might of be the first one that he actually uttered. Most of the time he would thing of a lie in his head, question to use it or not and then end up saying the truth. He just really wanted to leave this place before it got even more awkward then it already was. "I'm sure I will like it if you would like it" he said. There much better, covering his butt for the lie didn't look like a lie. He let out a small amount of air and turn around to walk out of the room. "Coming?" he said looking back teasing him.

Bath really wasn't sure about this. He could only see bad things ahead. He shrugged to hide his nervousness, keeping his face still and posture calm. "Sure." He followed Teak out of the kitchen, popping a few kernels into his mouth. What to do, what to do... An idea popped into his mind. "I think I'd rather watch something new," he said. That was mostly true, and even if it wasn't, he had no compulsions against white lies. "Let's see what they've got in the shop." He tried to ignore Teak's gentle teasing of him. He wasn't sure if he liked that, but hey, at least it was a friendly gesture? He liked it when guileless people were friendly, and he was beginning to realize that Teak was that at least. Too innocent, too naive to take advantage of him. He was grateful for that suddenly, and he felt a part of him that was tense before relaxing in the face of that. He didn't like guarding himself all of the time--his emotions, his reactions, his actions. He'd still have to do that around him/her, of course--Teak was a gentle person, someone he didn't want to offend for fear of losing a...an ally. Teak's bothered by swearing, no doubt he/she's bothered by excess violence. After all, most heroes try not to hurt people. At least, not intentionally hurt people. And they hate criminals. Which meant him, even if he was reformed. Does Teak know? Damnit, what did I tell him/her when I was scared?
For now, he'd just have to pretend that nothing was wrong. Be himself. No, scratch that--be nicer than himself. A different part of him started to tense up.

He frowned, something was holding Bath back. he wasn't sure but he knew that it was something from his past. He shook his head trying to hide the frown. If he wanted to learn more about this noodle then he would have to hide his emotions very well. He knew emotions were a soft point with Bath, so he had to hide to him. "Ok I guess. I bet I haven't seen any of them so I guess that would be a wise choice, we can both watch something new?" he said with a small smile.
In all truth, he was kinda getting use of the idea of watching one of those movies, but if he really didn't want to see one then he had to deal with it. "Is there something that you will like to see in a movie in which it would make it easier to find it?" he said turning back to him. "I'm not picky and I think I can watch anything and be happy to watch it." he said with a soft smile.

Bath returned the small smile with a very brief one of his own. "Yeah, something new sounds good." Specifically, he wanted something new to take his mind off of uncomfortable thoughts and memories that had gone back to swirling in his head. I need a hobby. I need something to keep me from remembering, something to keep me distracted more often. He ate a couple more pieces of popcorn and pondered what he liked in movies besides mindlessness. Maybe it was time to sample something less mindless and more...intellectual? Or something?
Saying that he was willing to watch whatever the other wanted to watch wasn't going to cut it here, but Bath honestly didn't know what to suggest. "Not a clue," he admitted. "Just, y'know, something."

Geyser Eelborn Sorry this took FOREVER. orz Ok. He had to make up his mind. It seem that all Bath new was those movie he had mention before and he wasn't in the mood to really watch them, so it was all upon him. He could do, sure, this was a easy task for Teak, he was a superhero so this couldn't be hard. Let see, his mother had a lot of movies, right. She was always watching those princess movies and she enjoy them greatly, why couldn't they watch them. He smiled, see Teak that wasn't hard.
He looked over to his friend and and smiled once more. "My mother own Snow White we can watch that? I haven't seen it yet but I seen movies like it and I enjoy them. It's something new and different and I can go get it pretty quickly." he said smiling.
He hope that the other noodle would say yes or this movie idea was going to be the biggest bust since...well he wasn't sure but this was still going downward and fast. "And if you want to, you can come with me when I go get it. It's not that far. You can even visit my room, my mother might be there and she's a blast!" he said with a soft giggle.

A Disney movie? A Disney princess movie?! Part of Bath was violently sick inside, but thankfully, that wasn't the part of him in control of his body. True, he didn't want to watch some dumb action flick, but he didn't want to be entirely emasculated either! Too late to protect my masculinity, some bitter, vicious inner voice said. His voice not betraying his dislike, he calmly said, "If that's what you'd like to watch, then sure. But I think I'll stay here." He didn't want to go anywhere near anyone's bedroom with someone else. Well...okay, maybe one person, but not with anyone else, not even Teak. He wasn't ready to trust anyone that far. "I'll see if I can find something real to eat. Y'know, not make a lunch out of popcorn."
