He raised an eyebrow, "This was never my home and I have never been a Hunter," he said dismissively with a hand wave as they walked along and then narrowed his eyes a little, "You can't say anything about my prince because you're hiding her from me, aren't you?"

All of that confused Deryk even more. Staring at Jude, he tilted his head and scratched it. Why was he here then if he didn't want to be a hunter? Also...
"You mean.. princess? Or a him?" he blinked, confused by his wording there, "Either way don't know what you're talking about. Not hiding anything! Just don't know."

"No! My prince is a female, do you think that I am that sort of Princess?" Jude sounded scandalized as if Deryk had made some sort of horrible observation about him and the way he worked. His arms crossed over his chest as he huffed a small sigh. Truly these land people are impossible.
Jude was still suspicious of Deryk but accepted that he just didn't know anything about it.

"What? No, don't be silly, I am a princess," he corrected quietly, "and my prince is a beautiful woman that shall sweep me off my feet," Jude sighed dreamily as he walked along with Deryk heading into the dorm building.
Seriously he was being so silly.
He then peered at Deryk again, "I'm sorry if you wanted to be my prince but I simply don't go that route."

The poor death trainee was completely baffled. But for now, he just decide that Jude has lost his mind. Or something to that effect. Better get him to the dorms for sure. Maybe one of the life peeps that wasn't H could take a look at him or something.
"...I see. And Nonono! Not what I was going at there," he quickly said when Jude suggested that Deryk might have wanted to be the prince.
"Just. Confused. You're confusing."

Jude still peered at Deryk a bit before he let the subject go with a small nod, "Good because you wouldn't be my type if you were, that is if I liked males," he said as if there was nothing wrong with this conversation.
Seriously this was totally normal.
"I am confusing?" Jude asked and then started to laugh or rather giggle daintily as if Deryk had said the world's greatest joke.

Deryk rubbed his head with that last bit. It was definitely worrisome trying to think of what had caused this in Jude. Now, he was rather certain that this was not how this fellow Death trainee normally acted. At least he hoped so. This was just outright bizarre. Princess? Really?

"Maybe that is because you are confusing and hurting your own head," he responded in a haughty tone after the giggling had ended. Jude nodded slightly as they wandered up the stairs to where their dorms were located.
This certainly was a nice stairway~.
"So, what is it like being a human?" He asked cheerfully.

This was definitely giving Deryk a headache. He was going to need to get some coffee after this. Hopefully it'll be strong coffee. Yes... this sounded like an excellent idea. Maybe he'll grab a poptart too if there's any.
"Um... you're human too. So. Same thing really," he said while staring at Jude, "Unless you're saying you aren't a human. In which.. what are you?"

Clearly because Deryk needs to stop confusing himself. Seriously. Princess Judith is very (not) sane.
"I am not a human!" He denied the thought with a bit of a sulk, "I am a dolphin princess," he corrected firmly as they walked down the hallway. "First Jerry, now you...So disappointing that you can't recognize me for what I am."

This was a very very bizarre day. Deryk just picked up the pace in hopes of getting Jude to his room soon.

This sounded like some thing he'd find on Deviant art. Or something poked fun at on 4chan. Shaking his head, Deryk opened the door to let Jude on in.
"Alright. Um. Take care then. Try not to bump your head more. Or.. do ... whatever you did to .. cause this in the first place. Ok? Sounds good? Yes."

It was lucky that the young man was not only delusional but also very easily lead to do things because he was a princess and trusted everyone and everything - to an extent. Deryk had proven himself 'trustworthy' enough to just simply get Jude wander into the room and turn around with his hands on his hips, "Cause what to happen? You don't believe me do you?" There was a look of dismay and unless Deryk acted quick it looked like the other Death Hunter was about to make a run for it.
