And that did it.
Alex let out a very un-manly scream at the fire balls, cringing inwards and covering his face with his arms. "Please please please stop, please please, no fire, no..." He muttered to himself while trembling. He peeked out at Danny once and winced, quickly covering up his face again. She did not look happy at all.
"I..I..I have to go!" He gasped rather hurriedly, pushing himself up very clumsily with one arm while still using the other to cover his face. He was making a pitiful whining sound in the back of throat uncontrollably, but he somehow managed to still blurt out "I'm so sorry, but..I can't...you..I just.." And with a helpless gesture he began to stumble away from the fire demon ghoul as fast as his stiff and clumsy legs would carry him. He didn't know where he was going, but anywhere had to be better then on the floor of a hallway with an unpredictable fire wielding demon shooting flames from her hands at any random moment.
((Exiting! Way to scar Alex again, Danny~))

The music once again goes quiet all over campus, and in the silence, the turning of gears growls and grinds deep underground seems louder than ever. And then even louder until the air is vibrating the the thunderous rhythm. The forms of defeated foes soon begin to waver and then...not quite dissipate, but rather turn misty, into a fog of sorts. The wisps of their remains travel outward and upward, until the sky above the school is dark with the restless fog.
Some students may find it...familiar. And when the clockwork cacophony shifts and twists, subtly, ever so slowly into a chorus of terrible, dark whispers...it becomes very familiar indeed.
The air is soon full of hundreds of voices, a speaking at once in a maddening hum of confusion, anger, and a crushing, mind-numbing loneliness.
