Why this rank? Irit is one I've always played as something of a scout to begin with, wanting to keep trouble OUT of the pride but never much of a fighter and more of a trickster.

Why this rank? Trained to be a nanny in her birth-pride, and has always lovedlovedloved cubs. I just...was never really able to get her the RPs needed to be a nanny back when it was an RP-required rank?

Why this rank? Calypso is badass.

Alright, so she's mostly just a stern mom type, but she has seen war. When she was an adolescent her home pride (totally OOC) was always at war with their neighbors over resources so she was trained early. After her pride lost terribly, she came to the Pridelands looking for a fresh start. However, that's not so easy when you're a giant, Firekin sized lady covered in scars. She's calm, easy to talk with, and loves adventure, but she finds purpose in protecting. She has never overworked herself, but she does pride diligence and a good work ethic above all else.

Originally she took up the rank of Scout because that was as close to a soldiers rank there was at the time (shortly after the Graveyard war). Since then she's been training new recruits and showing them the ropes.

Why this rank? Bomvu came from a fighting pride where members killed one another for survival and territory. He definitely knows how to fight. But he also knows that his former life is not one he wants to continue, and wishes to fight for a purpose now. He also wishes to pass his skills onto those who might also want to defend the pride.

Why this rank? Ganthet loves keeping track of the information the pride has to offer, and it more than happy to share his knowledge to those who ask. He is a lion-watcher by trade, and generally doesn't get involved in things himself. He just likes to keep a record of what's going on.

Why this rank? There probably isn't a bigger gossip in the pride than Frigga, nor anyone quite as good at making up stories. While she's a grumpy sort, she tends to show a softer side around cubs and enjoys entertaining them.


Member's name: Shujaa

Why this rank? shujaa is a hero! So of course she wants to be the best she can be, and help out in any way possible. She would probably be very eager to do whatever was needed to help out the pride. Her large size and strong muscles certainly help. She's built like a lion with the agility of a leopard!

Why this rank? Njiti is far more interested in exploring the borders than hunting. If she does determine the passing rogue is friendly, she'd be the first to welcome them to the Pridelands. She's not fond of hyenas in the slightest, though.

Member's name: Akhenaten

Why this rank? Akhenaten is an older male, a very experienced warrior who held the rank of 'King's Own Advisor' in his birth pride. He had served as a warrior in the pride's army and earned a place on the King's Guard. As he matured he took a seat on the Council and helped his King rule the pride for several years. Eventually the King's nephew had his uncle assassinated, and tried to do the same to Akhenaten, but he managed to escape by fighting free of the betrayers. Being too strong and skilled for them to take down. He lived in the Roguelands for a while, defending himself and his meals before finding the Tuait pride. There he met a lioness and raised a family while taking a position as a scholar, having retired from battle. But then the pride disbanded and Akhenaten found himself once again the sole provider and defender. Only this time he had a family to protect.
Finally they arrived at the Pridelands and Akhenaten decided it was a safe place to settle, hopefully for the last time. Not knowing the land or the pride he has resumed his old role of warrior and now has an entire lifetime of experience in battle and solitary survival to offer.
