~The day had passed, and Rin had remained silent a lot of the time. It was habit of hers to remain silent unless she had been spoken to. Lying in the bed she was given, she slept even more preacefully than any other person, and it probably would have been visible with the pur-like snores she let out through the night.

~She didn't seem to be having a pleasent dream, but she was lucky not to have a nightmare either. Her body over the blankets on the bed, curled up, she continued to sleep until---

BEEP BEEP BEEP

~Rin let out a loud scream in shock as her body jumped out of bed, ears perked up high as she fell to the ground. She landed face first, and her body was left close to straight up due to the side of the bed. The skirt she wore through the night fell, revealing her tail, and unfortunatly her panties on top of it. Immediantly, to make sure her roommate didn't see, she used her upper body to slightly crawl and get her lower body away from the bedside. When that was done, she immediantly stood up and pulled her skirt down.

~Suddenly, she realized something. She had gone to sleep with her ears exposed! Her eyes widened in shock as the beeps from a nearby clock continued. She didnt recall having one, but she was just more conserned on trying to silence it. Quickly, she ran over to it, and studied itr as she tried to fid out how she could turn it off. Seeing a button that said "Alarm" over it, she pushed it with her finger and the terrible sounds suddenly ceased. She sighed in relief.

~Unfortunatly, now that she was awake, the stench of her roommate and his pet were getting to her. The inside of her mouth begaan to water, yearning for a taste, but she couldn't. he couldn't give anything away to anyone. Immediantly, she tried to bring her mind to something else so that the stench would no longer try to cloud her sanity.

~Coming to her knees for a moment, she grabbed her suitcase from under her bed and opened it to see all of her clothes. Looking through them, she wondered if they had been given a uniform at all. If not, then the only thing she could wear were black dresses. Thankfully, they were all in different fashions, so no one would confuse them as the same clothes.

~Unfortunatly, it appeared there was no uniform. So, she grabbed one of the dresses she had. It was a beautiful, halter-ish dress with a long skirt. Standing up, she began to change. She didn't know if there was a bathroom around, and she assumed Jesse was still asleep. After she changed, she went through her suitcase again to find a hat that looked well with it. She found one, and put it over her ears. When that was done, she closed her suitcase and put it back where she found it before she put on her shoes, assuming she needed to go somewhere. She didn't know if there was school today or not, and she wanted to know. However, she was a bit scared to try and ask people she didn't know. She didn't have a choice, though, so she walked out the door to the hallways.

~Maybe, if there wasn't school, she could try to explore a little more? That would be nice.

~Rin hadn't expected there to be someone near her door. When she walked out, she immediantly walked into her, causing a harsh impact that sent her hat off of her head. She found this out by feeling the air at her indigo ears that still perk up. Immediantly, she crouched down to grab her hat from the ground as she quickly placed it back over her ears, hoping the girl didn't see her. As this all occured, the girl's scent began to bother her as she heard her apologize. Her voice sounded extremely nervous, but why? She thought the girl didn't have to be so nervous over something like this.

~Hearing her introduce herself, she only gave a simple nod. Assuming the girl wanted her to introduce herself, she replied with "I'm Rin." Her tone was very quiet.

~Rin heard Jada apologize to her again, and gave a small shake of the head. "It's fine," she said. "It wasn't your fault. I should have been the one to realize someone was walking by." Unfrotunatly, she was used to taking the blame for matters. In the past, she didn't have much of a choice. The girl's stench was beginning to get to her even more. It differed more than any of the other scents she came across. Thankfully, she didn't show it.

~Rin couldn't help but be a little surprised by Jada's immense consern for her. Sure, she had a body that was too skinny, but that didn't mean that she could be injured easily. Maybe she knew that her scent was getting her? No. That couldn't be possible.

~"I'm fine," Rin said in what she hoped was a reassuring tone. Unfortunatly, she was far too used to just holding a quiet, overly calm tone, so it was faint.

~Rin heard Jada ask her in she could show her around, she immediantly became surprised as she was forced to suppress her ears from perking up from under her hat. She was asking her to give her a tour of the school? But she didn't know her way around the place, either. She was new, herself, and had only just now wanted to truely explore around the place and figure out where was where.

~However, in the past, if she said no to something like this, even if she didn't know what she was supposed to do or where she was going, she would be "punished" for it. Should she say no and take the risk? Yes. She had to put her past behind her.

~"I'm sorry, but I'm new, too," she said, her tone still quiet and overly calm, yet now it held a very truthful tone. "I don't know my way around, either, so I can't be of help to you."

~Rin was a little surprised to hear Jada if they could look around together. Why would she want to look around together? The way she saw it was that they could cover more ground if they split up. Or, the winged girl could very well go and find someone who has been here before.

~Being extremely honest, yet not knowing what this could do and how Jada would react, the girl said "I...don't think it'd be the best if we tried looking around together," in the same tone as before. "We'll likely make each other lost, and we won't find our way." As she talked on, the tone in her voice seemed to become lower and lower, and any emotion that was in her voice decreased with it.
