Northland hadn't noticed that Raust had moved from his side and came around to face him for he head his eyes close and was trying very hard to take deep calming breaths. He was so concentrated on doing this he had missed Raust question.
After a moment he opened his eyes to find Raust staring straight back at him threw the eye holes of his mask. This caused him to blink in confusion. "Um what?" he asked not sure what to say. He than took in how close they were and stole a kiss from Raust.

Having been about to answer Northland’s question he was taken by surprise when Northland kissed him. He was used to Northland treating him like a special friend but it was sill always so pleasant to have Northland spoil him so.
He rubbed against the side of the masked male’s head as soon as the kiss ended. “I’m so glad you came. I missed getting treated the way you treat me. There really is no one else like you Northland.” He pulled back and smiled at his friend.
(*giggles* I can't believe.. oh wait.. yes. Yes I can believe that happened.. it's north after all.)

Northland let out a sigh as Raust rubbed cheeks with him. It made him relax and calm down some.
"I missed you to...though I suppose we have to talk and you have some questions huh? I'm sorry for putting you threw this." he said his tone showed how sad he was.

Raust pulled back and blinked. Did he have questions? He was sure he did after Moon blew up and yelled at him when Raust kissed the other deer-fox, but with Northland right in front of him all of those questions seemed to have slipped out of the side of Raust’s head. “I do have one question though even if I can’t remember the others. Why are you sorry?”

Northland watched as Raust pulled back with almost a shocked expression on his face. He arched an eyebrow. "You don't have any questions besides wondering why I'm sorry? Why don't you think a bit more on them escaping questions and I'll answer this one." he told Raust while he thought over what he was going to say. "Why am I sorry? I am sorry for my attitude toward your friend and not explaining things better and causing a problem."

Nodding trying to figure out what other things he should be asking Northland he listened to the other fox. What he was apologizing for made sense to some degree, though some things were still odd to him. “What do you need to explain that caused problems? Moon is mad now but I know he will calm down. He yelled all day when I kissed him. In the afternoon he lost his voice.” Moon being mad was a normal staple of life for Raust. It never made him feel good and it always scared him, but he knew it would go as quickly as it came.

Northland let out a sigh. "It's because I kissed you and told you that what special friends do and didn't explain it more that you kissed him and that made him yell at you all day. It's my fault." He said feeling bad about it.

It was finally clicking. “What else where you supposed to explain to me then Northland.” He quietly sat down and looked at his special friend he wasn’t sure if he should feel tricked or not. Was there something that would have stopped moon from yelling at him?

Northlands ears flicked back feeling back and unsure of himself. Never before had he felt like this. "You know about mates and dating right? Well everyone starts out as normal friends first than it progresses into something more a bit special and unique making them special friends....than it can progress into being mates." He said feeling embarrassed. His gaze was on the ground, he cleared his throat and continued "I thought you knew what I had meant when I said that. I didn't realize you didn't otherwise I would have said something and prevented you from getting yelled at."

Well he did have some idea about mates Raust had never really considered the issue. Mates where something that leads to kits. He couldn’t even take care of himself much less little ones. Plus Pan had always said females wanted something from you but never told you what it was. Raust believed him and as such was never really interested in finding a mate. After all he liked being told what was expected of him. Guessing was just too frustrating. Blinking he tried to process what Northland was saying. So he and the other fox were special friends. Special friends meant dating. Dating meant mating. Mating usually ended in kits, but they were both males so Raust didn’t know how that would work. “so we could be mates?” Raust could only stare stupidly at Northland.

Northland nodded his head as he watch Raust. He could tell that this was a lot to take in for the deer fox. He wasn't sure how to make it easier except answer any and all question the best that he could. "Yes we can be mates. Two males, two females, a male and female. We all can have babies but have to get a blessing with a deity just like everyone else its how we all get blessed with kits with some work on are part." He said hopping to clear that up for him.

Blinking Raust heard what Northland said, but wasn’t sure what to make of it. He shuddered. “You won’t make you guess what you want from me will you? My friend Pan said that was what females always did. I can’t… I don’t know how to do that.” The deer fox shook his head and snorted. Raust looked at Northald pleadingly. He didn’t mind the idea of being mates if it was with Northland, but if Northland wanted him to guess and figure things out without giving a hint of any kind then Raust knew he would be doomed.

Northland stared at him. " I thought we already went over this. I'm not a girl remember?" he asked Raust trying to lighten his mood. He was obviously upset at the idea of having to guess about anything. "I can't promise that you wont guess but I can say I will try not to set up a situation where you have to. But accidents do happen you know?"

“I know you are a male, but I also didn’t know males could have kits.” The blank look on Raust’s face would have been comical in any other situation. Still after Nothland’s last comment Raust started to smile just a bit. “I understand that Northland, just please don’t expect me to understand everything, because I really don’t know much.” Raust nuzzled Northland’s shoulder softly.

"We can but we have to get a deities blessing first and when we do that than it is possible for us to have kits."Northland informed him the best that he knew how. He laid his head on Raust back as Raust nuzzled him. "Alright. We'll take this one step at a time kay?"
