 Arthur put on the shirt which he had left on his chair. He took his belongings and checked to see if he had forgotten anything. "Alright, now lets go to the garden to look for her," he said leading the way. "Hm... or should we look in the hallways first? We'll end up in the garden first anyway," he said. "Oh by the way what's your name?" he asked her noticing he hadn't gotten her name yet.

"Oh, er... My name is Morgra." She brushed aside a strand of raven black hair that flew in her face.

"It's a pleasure to meet you. Well you can call me Mr. Kirkland. Although I still
havent gotten used to being called mister yet," he admitted. He had just
finished his schooling the year before and had been taking crash course
classes which meant he was young enough to be a student. "So why'd you
decide on coming to this school?"

Morgra's eyes fell to the sand. "I didn't decide to. They decided for me since there was no way a girl like me was going to be able to live normal... Not after what I've done...."

 Arthur felt bad for accidentally bringing something like that up. "I'm sorry if I've
brought up any painful memories for you. Sometimes I forget that not everyone
has a choice in where they go," he said. He was the same... forced to teach at
this school when he really wanted to do something else.

"No, it's fine. I just am glad that I was allowed to keep my friends. Though, the police didn't really like Luna or Kamakazi..." She shook her head as she remembered some of their antics. "I guess sometimes lizards like doughnuts too." A small smile found her face.

Arthur looked at her confusedly not knowing what she was talking about. "Luna
and Kamakazi? And what's about reptiles and donuts?" he asked. "I'm really
confused."

Morgra looked at him, embarrassed. "Oh, Luna is my raven and Kamakazi is my baby komodo dragon. When the police caught me, Kamakazi got into a box of doughnuts. He ate most of the box before anyone noticed. I also have a rat named Ramura."

He ate most of the box before anyone noticed. I also have a rat named Ramura." "Oh I see, you have a lot of friends there," he said. "Although its rare for anyone to have a komodo dragon. How did you come across one?"

"Actually, I didn't know at the time, but I found the egg in a dumpster. I didn't know if it was edible, so I just kept it with me for a time. Somehow, I kept it well enough for it to hatch. I was actually surprised that all of my pets have lived for so long with me after all my... adventures. I guess only one ever knew of my major one, though." Morgra rubbed her neck by habit where a patch of her skin was lighter and in a strange shape.

"Oh so you're pretty much the Komodo dragon's mother," he said. He noticed the scar but didnt question it since he didnt want to bring up any unwanted feelings. "Its good to have someone with you even if they are your pets. I've had to leave everyone behind just to be able to teach here."

She laughed. "Yeah I guess so. It is different being around people again... I've heard this is a haven for freaks from some, and others say it's a great place to learn about oneself. I can't figure out where I fit in, but maybe when the actual classes start, I will." She turned her head to the sky. "Well, we should go find Susie before it gets to late in the day. I want to make it to the defense lesson in the garden after lunch."

"Freaks, huh? Well it is a little different, for example the history class I'm
teaching deserves to be called a mythology class by 'normal' standards," he
chuckled. "And I heard not all the students are human." He looked at his watch.
"Yeah, we should really hurry up and start looking for her."
