Happy Gaiaversary!

Carrying the little baby girl bundled up tightly, Dizzy came into the room, glancing around to see if Vale arrived before she had.

Joi followed slowly behind, having never been to one of these things before and not knowing if she'd know anyone. She hoped she'd see people more her own age and not just a bunch of adults cracking comments about her being short...

Joi pushed passed her mother, eager to see if she knew anyone there. Frowning, the only pae she sees and recongnizes is her dad. She wonderes who the pretty fae he's talking to is tho, so she strolls up casually.

Dizzy watched Joi hurry off to her father and chuckled lightly. She seen Estra and smiled. She could show Lucia to her and perhaps maybe the Elder would know more about what happened as far as Joi and twins' birth. She hesitated to approach tho, seeing she looked rather serious and deep in conversation with Elder Sol.

Vale smiled when he saw Joi. "Joi-joi! How are you today!" He smiled and slid Lucius back onto his shoulder and he smiled. He didn't notice the brown pae sliding up behind him either.

Jomund stood behind Vale and waved at Joi with a smile, he nodded his head at her, and looked at Vale with a raised brow, he mouthed the word, 'father'.

Joi gave her dad a hug when he acknowledged she was there. "Hi Daddy!" She glanced to the fae he'd been talking to hoping to be introduced, but movement behind her father caught her attention and she turned to see Jomund approaching. She smiled and nodded at him, giving him an affirmative.

Seeing what looked like a good window to go say hi to her friend, Dizzy approached Elder Estra with a warm smile. "Estra, its good to see you." She shifted Lucia in her arms a bit. She noticed both Elders looking towards Joi. "She's sprouting like a weed." she chuckled meekly.

Vale smiled. "Joi, this is Tiffany, my sister, you aunt..." He chuckled, he still didn't know Jomund was behind him.

Jomund hid his chuckle and he smirked, noting the baby in Vale's arms, he moved over to Joi's side and said. "Hello Joi!"

Sol smiled. "Yes, it does seem she has... Not quite all the way though..."

Joi smiled and did a little curtsy at the introduction to her aunt. "Its nice to meet you Aunt Tiffany. Turning when Jomund finally made his presence known better she grinned at him. "Hi Jomund, its good see you again."

Jomund chuckled and nodded his head. "Hey Joi, how are you today?" He smiled and bowed his head at the other fae he'd yet to be introduced to. "Hello sir," He bowed his head at Vale.

Vale eyed him for a moment, the corner of his mouth twitching dangerously, watching to see any... motion towards his daughter.

"Daddy, this is Jomund. I met him earlier." Joi introduced her new friend to her father. She turned and craned her neck slightly, looking to see where her mother wandered off too. Spotting her and smiling she points, "And that's my mom, talking to the Elders."

Vale nodded slowly and he frowned. "Nice to meet you Jomund..." He said, his tone civil, but not all that warm... He held Lucius in his arms and rocked him gently.

Jomund cringed inwardsly and he took the moment that Joi gave him to look at her mum. "Ah I see... That's cool..." He chuckled and turned back to her. "Would you like a drink Joi? I'll get you some punch if you'd like..."

Menolly made her way over to Joi and Jumond and Vale. "Hiya! Didja hear? The red guy and the green girl are expecting! It seems to be going around, my Momma is too." She nodded, believing she was telling them facts.

Joi was a bit worried but more curious why her dad was having the reaction he was. "Yeah, That'd be nice, I'd love some punch, Jomund. Thank you." She smiled towards him and looked back at her dad, her head tipped slightly. She wondered what was wrong, but didn't want to ask in front of Aunt Tiff and Jomund.

Estra smiles and nods "Niice to see you as well Dizzy, I see you have something new there

Jomund cast a glance at the two the girl mentioned and nodded, then looked to Joi. "I'm going to get it, I'll be back in a minute..." He chuckled and hurried off towards the table... Guardians, that man wanted him DEAD! He got two cups of it and headed back to the group, handing one to Joi. "Here you go..." He murmured, holding his glass and taking a sip... Oh man... wow... it had kick.

Vale smield the moment Jomund left, his brow quirked when the pink girl told him the 'facts', he chuckled and smiled. "That's wonderful, I'll give them my regards in a bit..." He nodded his head, boucning Lucius again

Menolly beamed, happy to have her 'fact' shared, the baby had her attention and she looked at the child, "Oooh, the baby is so pretty." She didn't know it was male, she wasn't sure of the differences herself.

Dizzy beamed. "Yes, She and her twin brother were born on Valentine's day. This is Lucia." she rocked the sleeping baby in her arms gently."How are you doing these days, Lady Estra?" She asked with a warm smile.

Joi had heard what the other girl had said and glanced towards the pair she mentioned. "Uncle Signis is having a baby?" She blinked a couple times because she had seen them out of the corner her eye, but she assumed the girl was his daughter. Then another thought struck her. That girl is HER age and expecting? Oh no, I gotta be careful! It might happen to me.

Jomund bringing her a cup of punch luckily snapped her out of that train of thought as she'd started to stare and not know it. "Thank you, Jomund." She took a sip and looked in the cup. Weirdest tasting punch she'd ever had.

Estra smiles "Well now, one of hte first fae, having a rather unique child, this is definetaly new"

Tiff watches lazily the happenings around her

Vale smiled. "Thank you young lady, he's quite the handful though..." He chuckled and rocked the infant a bit more, eyeing Jomund warily around Joi.

Sol smiled and nodded his head, listening to Dizzy and Ala talk.

Jomund chuckled a little and did not go easy on the punch. It was making him feel all warm and tingly and light headed. He smirked and kept his eyes on Joi, chuckling a bit. "Hey, Joi, I ever tell you you got nice eyes?"

Menolly was focused on the baby now; however she didn't miss the sweet thing that male told the female her age. Tilting her head she asked, "What his name? He looks peaceful." How could he be a handful? Were all babies like that? Those questions didn't last long, she was thinking of how cute the baby was again.

Dizzy nodded, "These babies are definately unique. They were born alive... I didn't have eggs." She sorta whispered that fact, not sure if it was a strange anomole or not. "Do you have an idea why? And Joi, " She looked towards her daughter, "I don't remember being a ..." she thought for a moment about the term her and Vale, "A teenager I think..."

Joi drank a little quicker on her punch, feeling a little more loose, if that was the proper term for how she started feeling. "I do? Thank you. Daddy says they are my mom's eyes." She giggled then took another drink, finishing what was in her cup. She felt oddly energized now as well, but didn't question why.

Estra shook her head and looked around "Darius would be one who might have some clue.... but he seems to have left"

Vale heard what Jomund said, and suddenly his hackles rose. "Miss, would you like to hold him?" He asked, trying to keep his tone level... That... Fiend was going to get it now the moment he could be free of the child...

Jomund chuckled and finished off his punch. "That's nice... They are really pretty..." He chuckled. "Acutally, all of you is pretty!" He declared, shaking his head. "Kinda one of those things you notice but don't say cause you don't know if it's cool you know, but I figure now it's cool right?" He said, moving a little closer to her, not being overly flirty. "Hey, wanna dance or something?"

These are all things he wouldn't have said... Not without the booze, he tended to be a bit reserved... And he had energy to burn...

Sol hrmmed thoughtfully. "Teenager hrm... My, things have changed much..." He blinked and looked about. "Yes, odd that..."

Menolly nodded excitedly, but stilled herself, "I'd love to hold him." She didn't think much of the sweet words she heard, only that it would be fun if someone said such nice things about her. Not that it bothered her in the least, after all, she'd get to hold a baby!

Joi was all giggly, and slightly hiccupy. "I'd love to dance, I was just thinking about that myself actually. And afterwards, I'd love another cup of that yummy punch." she grinned and took hold of his hand and led him towards the center of the room.

Dizzy nodded to Estra and then to Sol. "Where could I find Darius? I'd love to talk to him about it. I can't find anything in any book I've searched in the HQ library. I'm not worried, just curious if this something only I will deal with or not." She'd seen the girl sitting with Vale's uncle and noted she looked about Joi's age. "Perhaps pae grow slower now." she said, thinking aloud more than anything with that last comment.

"Darius' home is very difficult to get to, however he is often found at hte HQ or near it" Estra says with a nod

Jomund chuckled and walked her to the center of the room, then started to dance with her, a rather drunken waltz to start, that was, till Victor, in a flash of malicous insight, changed the music... It was fast, it had a hard base beat... and Victor turned that sucker up loud...

In other words, it was dirty dancing music of the worst kind.

And Jomund, not quite knowing the moves, just started to dance with the music letting go of Joi and getting in close in other ways...

Once Lucius was safe in Menolly's arms Vale stompped after the two, when he saw them on the dance floor he near about had a heart attack, he stomped over to them and pushed Jomund away from Joi, growling and turning to him. "And just WHAT do you think you are doing with my daughter!"

Morena got bored, and created the illusion that all the lights were out. That was difficult to manage, the force of the light was hard to deal with, but she tired. It seemed her creative well went dry, it was probably just her mood that had caused that little spurt.

Menolly held the baby close, but was being extra gental, more then what really needed to be. The loud music scared her first and she backed away, bumping into her father.

Kurt put a hand on his daughter's shoulder, "Its okay, Menolly, don't get afraid or the baby will too." He'd have done what Vale was doing if anyone came near his daughters like that.

Joi was feeling the beat of the music too and was rather impressed with hiow Jomund was moving. Altho, she might have been easily influenced considering she'd had her very first alcoholic beverage. Utterly shocked when her father came in and pushed her friend, she squeaked at him, "DADDY!" *hic*

Dizzy nodded. "Thank you." She shifted Lucia in her arms again and turned to look towards Vale and Joi, only to be completely shocked to see her husband pushing a man. "Oh my" She looked to Estra, "Excuse me for a minute." and with that, she hurried towards Vale. "Vale!"

Vale growled. "Not now Joi, I have to deal with this creatin!" He glared at Jomund who was still quite confused as to what the HELL he'd done. "What do you think you are doing with my daughter!" He growled loudly.

"Cool it man, I was just dancing, damn..." Jomund drunkenly slurred, hiccuping a bit. "I mean, I wasn't all over her or anything, just chill... Man... Chill..." He pushed back at Vale a little bit.

"I saw him try to kiss her!" Victor called out after darting behind Sol for a moment.

That was enough for Vale, he clenched his fist and swung, catching Jomund right in the jaw right as the lights went out... There was the sound of a loud scuffle afterwards.

Joi was about to screech back at her dad, but the lights going out spooked her. "Mom!" She called out, not really wanting comfort from her father. Groping in the darkness, she tried to make her way towards where she'd last seen her mother. Being slightly inebriated however, and not being able to see where she was going, she quickly found herself flat on her face. Trying desperately to regain her compose and get up, she wasn't exactly able to. She just hoped she wouldn't be trampled.

Dizzy stopped when the lights went out. She had to consider the baby in her arms and if she'd be bumped into. "Joi? Vale?" she called out, keeping herself calm.

Morena allowed the lights to "come back on" She still wasn't satisfied or feeling any better. Sighing, she decided she wanted to test that mongoose theory. So, creating a large, snarling mongoose, she just had it wonder into view of Bellatrix, sniffing in hunting mode.

When the lights came back it would reveal both Jomund and Vale rolling around on the ground punching and kneeing and kicking and biting and fighting, really getting rough and tumble.

When the lights came back on, Joi scrambled to her feet and spotting her mother instantly, made a bee-line straight to her. "Mom!" she was whimpering slight and clung to Dizzy.

"Vale!" Dizzy hollered at her husband. Why on gaia was he fighting with that man. She'd seen him talking to Joi, but neglected to see the 'dancing' that had infuriated Vale. "Joi, what happened?"

*hic* "I don't know. I was dancing with Jomund and Daddy came over and pushed him! He's been giving him the stink-eye all night." She watched her dad fighting with Jomund and felt a new kind of anger building up inside. A sort of resentment even, towards her father. The feeling didn't sit well with her at all. *hic*

Vale and Jomund rolled around on the ground a bit more before Jomund finally landed a good hit and got up, scrambling away from him and hiding under a table.

Vale got up a short minute later and stomped after him. "I'm going to kill you!" He roared and stromed, his eyes were murder.

Dizzy sighed and looked to Joi. "Hold Lucia for me please." She did not know that Joi had consumed alchohol either. After Joi had a good hold of her baby sister, Dizzy marched over to Vale, huffing. "VALE!" She said firmly but didn't yell. She just needed to get his attention.

Joi held Lucia in her arms, trying to sooth the baby as she'd just woken up and was starting to get fussy.

Vale stopped and his eishged hearing her. He turned and huffed. "Did you see what that ingrate was doing with our daughter!?" He asked and demanded at the same time, waveing over at the brown Pae hiding under the table with a busted lip.

Dizzy walked fearlessly up to him. She knew he wouldn't hurt her, not even when he was in the middle of a fit of rage. "Vale, look over there." She pointed to their daughters.

Joi stood, trying to nurture and soothe a now fussy little baby girl while keeping her eyes on her dad.

"I'm not fighting you on this, and I'm not defending him." She pointed to where Jomund was hiding without looking at him, "But look at your daughters, they're frightened. They've never seen their father act this way. And I'm sure your point has been made with that man. He's HIDING from you." she was firm still, but not yelling or sounding upset, just trying to get Vale to stop and think rationally.

Vale took a deep breath and he sighed closing his eyes. "You are right, I am sorry, I reacted a bit more than I should have... I shall calm myself now..." He murmured. "But when we get home, Joi is grounded, I don't want any argument's love, but my wish is that she never see that male again... Please you have to understand, I was young like him once, he probably slipped her the booze in the punch..."

Dizzy stepped towards Vale, embrasing him. "I won't fight you I said. Just be careful to not be too hard on her, ok? You don't want to push her towards him." Her voice was quiet. Only meant for Vale's ears. Then, after a moment what he said finally sunk in. "Wait, booze? She's been drinking?" She pulled back from the hug and looked at Vale with wide eyes.

Joi swayed a bit and hiccuped. She was trying not to, and didn't understand why she felt dizzy. She just held the baby, trying desperately to not feel like she was gonna drop her sister. Feeling paranoid, she decided to just sit and let Lucia rest in her lap.

"Can't you smell it on her?" He asked her. "Whatever it was it's strong as all hells, she and Jomund took just a cup of that punch and look at the two fo them, they're totally plastered..." He said, motioining to the hiccuping Pae still under the table, who was shaking a little and not quite outta fear.

No I didn't smell it on her." Dizzy glared at Vale then looked to her daughter who was now on the floor sitting cross-legged with the baby in her lap. A terrifiying thought came into her head and she sprung up straight. "Yes Vale, she's grounded. Tell that man to keep his distance. We need to talk to her when we get home. We should probably leave now." She crossed her arms, looking at Joi.

The thought was ... it was probable Joi was conceived the night her and Vale got drunk and "accidently" slept together after barely even knowing each other maybe 2 days and she did NOT want to see her daughter do that. She was far too young still. Not even fully grown yet!

Vale nodded his head. "Yes, let's go..." He spoke softly, trying not to get his wife's anger again. He hated when she glared at him, it made him rather sad actually, so he nodded his head and headed towards Menolly to get Lucius, the party was losing it's entertaining quality anyway...

Dizzy headed towards Joi, that angry glare she'd used on Vale when he pointed out her stupidity so rudely was still on her face, however completely directed at her daughter now. As far as she knew, Joi drank the alcohol on purpose. "Joi, we're going home now." She said with a short, quick tone, bending down to pick up Lucia who had settled down once Joi had sat down.

Joi looked between her parents. Uh oh ... Mom's mad. Dad looks defeated. "Yes Ma'am." she muttered and stood after the baby was securely back in Dizzy's arms. She looked to the floor, not wanting to make eye contact with either of them. *hic*

Vale sighed and moved back to Dizzy's side with Lucius. He frowned and leaned down, whispering in Dizzy's ear. "I'm sorry, I said that entirely the wrong way..." He murmured softly and kissed her ear before pulling away. He had a feeling that he was going to be crashing on the couch tonight... Though odds were he'd be lucky if he was on the front poarch.

Dizzy headed to the door with Lucia securely in her arms. Hopefully the flight home would at least calm her down. She didn't anything, but she didn't dismiss Vale's apology either. If anything, it slowed her fast stomping pace down a bit.

Joi sulked, following behind her parents. *hic* She spotted Jomund under a table and felt so horrible for him. She gave a little wave to him before smiling, mouthing the words "I'm sorry" and then, on a whim, she blew a kiss to him followed with a wink... .if anything, merely a thank you and I'm sorry sort of gesture, because she did feel rather guilty.

Jomund grinned drunkenly and blew her a kiss as well waving, he mouthed the words, 'Okay, see you later!' and slowly made his way out from under the table...

He was intercepted by Vale and sternly told to go NOWHERE near her agian, and then Vale left following Joi out the door with Lucius, and into the night... Hopefully Joi would feel the effects of the booze the next morning... he was planning on it...


Dizzy and Joi were already out the door and didn't see Vale's warning to Jomund. Dizzy was watching Joi, making sure they were heading STRAIGHT home.
