Deryk gives it one last go, unleashing the green aura of stabbiness onto it. Well. He tried at least.
Feeling too tired and worn to continued, he stopped his Leeroy Jenkins attempt and fell back.

Robert climbed up and started trying to strangle the creature to catch it. BECAUSE THAT IS HOW ROBERT ROLLS.

ROBERT DOES NOT LIKE TO GIVE UP ON A FIGHT. Even if he's losing. So he tried to catch it again. It was a close call, this time, but the monster got him right in the groin, and Robert was out for the count.

For a while, Petra stood back and let the manly men take care of the beast, watching the stabby-stabby, then Robert wrassle with it before taking a groin shot, effectively leaving him down for the count. Rolling up her sleeves, the moon trainee took three strides towards the creature, waiting for it to round on her before she wound back her arm, socking it straight in the jaw. She took one step back as it collapsed in front of her, watching it fall before reaching down to attach the shackle around its neck.
Glancing over at Robert, she quirked an eyebrow at him, as if to say 'Yeah, that's how it's done.'

Robert gave the other men in the group a casual look, even while he writhed on the floor. Jordan he didn't mind so much, but Deryk and Otto..

Otto curled his lip at Petra, tilting his head to the side. "What you even talkn' bout, woman?" First dibs at what exactly? Otto had missed the whole whatever was being mentally talked about.
But if he knew, or caught on, he'd either be livid or puke.

Jordan also raised an eyebrow, but declined to comment. He knew Robert; whatever it was had likely been some kind of innuendo.
"Looks like it," he said to Otto, and then to Petra, "Good work."

"Don't call me woman," she replied in a disinterested tone, looking him up and down before finally seeming to settle on a suitable response, "... Shorty."
Which didn't really make any sense at all, all things considered, but if this perturbed her, she didn't seem to show it. Instead, she looked over at Jordan when he spoke, a smile only touching her eyes. "Boss," she replied to him with a respectful dip of her head, automatically deferring to him.
