Spotting another opening, Tori hit the creature once more and hit it a harder this time then the last times she had before. After taking another hit she was getting a little tired now.

Vanessa gave a sheepish nod to Tori. She hadn't meant to hit the other girl with the snowball, but still. Apparently Wilson was actually doing something productive whilst she had been having the snow fun. When he spotted their prey, she immediately followed after Tori, summoning Volt quietly.
"Volt, we're going for a tazer style stun, alright?" She thought to the electrical weapon, raising the tesla cannon to her shoulder. The dragon gave a mental nod of a thought back.
Setting her aim on the creature, Vanessa pulled the trigger. The electral blast shot across to the creature, a lightning bolt of energy. The back-lash from the monster wasn't even that bad in comparison to her attack.

The life trainee pulled Volt back to her shoulder. "Good hit Volt. I should set you to stun more often." She thought to the weapon. He beamed in her mind, static-like chuckles of joy sounding through it.
Vanessa faced the creature again, bracing her cannon against her shoulder. The creature had noticed her again, and looked as if it could charge at any moment, so Vanessa pressed the trigger again.
Unfortunately, the creature got too close and she had to dodge, jarring her aim so that it barely missed the creature. She scowled at their prey instead.

Before he could say anything else, Tori had already moved in and started hacking away at the creature. While it appeared she had done some decent damage, the life trainee had also taken up quite a bit of injuries. Worried, Wilson called out to her. “Careful, Tori! Maybe you should fall back for a bit?” Vanessa jumped in and fired a shot. Before Wilson could join in, the creature ran up to him and butted him in the stomach. He wheezed. “L-Lovely…”

Still gasping for air, Wilson smacked the creature on the head before wriggling away. He leaned over, one hand on his stomach. Lovely, indeed.

ANd then Leon tried his best to get the drop on the creature that dared to attack tori and wilson.
No literally. The boxer instead of searching from the ground took to searching from higher up in the trees after the whole rabbit incident and tried to leap from the branches.
And missed the target and fell face first into a nearby bush. "Ow dammit all to hell and back!" he cursed loudly, no longer concerned if the beast was going to run for it.
Now it was time to check if the bush that cushioned his fall was poison Ivy or not.

“Leon!” When the heck had he climbed up that tree?! Not that Wilson paid much attention to that minor detail. The creature was still raring to go and ready to head butt him ago. He gulped. “Uh oh.” Nervously he braced himself as the creature ran at it. While it did manage to ram him ago, at least he had managed to weakly kick it a couple times.

Tedan had been lagging behind the group a little bit, but as soon as he realized they'd actually found the thing they were hunting, the Sun trainee quickly ran to catch up. "Remember the drills, everyone!" he called by way of encouragement as he leapt into the fray.

Remember the drills? Hahaha. Wilson could’ve laughed if it wasn’t for the fact that the creature ran over him again. Lying flat on his stomach, he sighed. Okay. He was going to stay back and let everyone else fight it. He was getting kind of tired.

Tedan winced when Wilson was promptly run over by the creature and moved to step around in front of the now-downed masked trainee. "You should probably just uhm... stay there," he advised the other, twirling Ardavan around a couple of times before attempting another attack.

Tedan felt bad about missing the first part of this fight, so he decided to at least keep the damn thing distracted so it wouldn't run over Wilson again. He was taking the hits it dealt out fairly well, so he should be able to keep this up for a little while.

It seemed like the creature was getting weaker here ... maybe just one or two more hits would stagger it enough that they could try to capture the thing! (Yes he was kind of thinking in video game terms here DON'T JUDGE HIM). And as his last attack hit, the creature stumbled and seemed to be more confused ... shaking its head around a bit as it tried to recover. Yes! "Guys, try to capture it now!!" he called to the rest of the team. (( HP: 36/40 Damage: 5 Creature HP: 19/50 ))

As Tedan dealt with the beast, Wilson sighed again and slowly got to his feet. He held back a groan. Wow. That creature was pretty damn strong. “What? Got it!” Soon as Tedan called out to the others, Wilson rushed for the shackles and leapt at the creature—he winced at the sores all over his back—and managed to secure it around its neck. He stood next to it and stared. That was easy.
“Okay, let’s get this thing back to the ‘copter.”
Didn't even need the catnip. Huh.

"Awesome!" Tedan replied at that, staring at the now-captured creature. It almost seemed too easy, but he was so not about to argue! "Wonder how the other teams did ..." he murmured as he moved to help Wilson lead the beast toward where the 'copter was.

It was only then that the boxer stirred from his nap in the dirt and pulled himself back up on shaky feet. It was like hitting a ton of bricks. Face first of course.
Leon still felt a bit hazy as he looked around for the invader that he tried to get a spring on and whirled about on one foot before looking at the others. "Where did it go, did we kill it?"
Just what Leon needed, more brain damage being inflicted on him.
