I once wrote an excruciatingly bad piece of YA.
Well, of course, I didn't think it was bad at the time.

I've written poems and short stories. None published, but you can see some on DA.
I also started to write a novel, partialy out of bordom. I had the idea in my head for a long time, though. Of course, things are going slower now that I'm not sure what the heroine should do next. Oh well. I am having trouble for a title. Maybe World in a Shell or Institution. It's going to be a science fiction, but it doesn't have to do with aliens or stuff like that. Just futuristic technology. Well, since this was a guild of book-lovers, I thought I might bring it up. I have written a short story or two, and I write poems sometimes, but this is my first novel. After it's finished, I might just keep it on the computer and a floppy or something at all times, as not to risk loosing it if I do persue a writing career, let's hope.
It's about the furturistic society where cities are built in huge buildings, all connected by a super fast, high-tech bullet-train. No one is allowed to leave, and all files, books, magazines, or anything else that describes the outside world to any extent is locked up, computer files in almost un-hackable government files. The only people on earth who know of the outside world are a select few government officials, and a resistance. Our heroine, Hana Otome, meets a member of this resistance, Hiraku Meirou, and they start talking. Hana is unwilling to believe Hiraku, and she storms off. She heads home, where she watches TV, till she decided to get ready for bed. She started thinking about Hiraku, and decided to get more info on this "Outside world". She sneaks out of the house, and goes to where she met Hiraku earlier, but istead heard a voice from the shadows, belonging to one Myoumei Kaijin. He takes her to the hide-out of the resistance. An older member, William Johnson, reads entries from an old journal entry handed down to him through the generations. The jounal entries describe how the "city" Hana lives in now came to be, and how over the years, people would no longer go outside of the bubble. After he's done, he assumes Hana wants to join, but she claims to not want to join, and leaves, promising not to tell a soul. She then runs into her friends, and tries to see what they believe about the world.....
That's all I have so far. In case you are wondering, I am only 14, so I probably won't get published.
If you would like to see what I have so far, I would be more than willing to PM it to you.

I've written a story on loose leaf note book paper, rewritten it into a composition book, and now it's currently be re-rewritten onto my computer. I haven't been published ever, but I'm hoping that this story will make it.

I'm trying my hand at one right now... It's currently 52 pages on Word but it's gone through a lot of revisions and stuff and I'm trying to improve my writing style... I've written a lot of short stories but some aren't completely finished...

I've written a good number of fanfics and I'm trying at a collection of my own short story adventures for my original characters. I try my best but I haven't really been going on the computer lately and my writing isn't so developed. So hopefully I'll get the stories on their way.

I've this idea for book floating through my head, but at the moment it's not more than a couple of random scenes and a general idea of where I want to go.
However, I totally lack the discipline to sit down and start writing it up. Plus I don't know where to start. I've written some of the scenes in my head, but not actually the story.
I'm now considering turning part of it into a computer game demo, but that's a really long term project. Especially as I'm also studying Japanese in my spare time. >.<
