Taryn might have offered her jacket to preserve her dignity, but it really was too cold for that. Instead she nodded and leaned up against Roch, concerned more for his life than for her own pride.
"No funny business," she added, a bit amused at herself for saying as such but mostly meaning it.

He slipped his arm under her coat, wrapping it around her waist and letting out a sigh of relief as his hand rested on her hip. "Er, what funny business?" he asked. "So I can't tell jokes or something?" he added, looking a bit confused. "Oh, or were you talking about groping you or something?"
He gave her a little grin, tugging her closer and starting to head for the reaper dorm. "Can't really grope a ghoul's butt when it comes with a snake that bites attached, y'know?"

"That's what I mean, and exactly. Keep that in mind." A chill rushed up her as her coat-barrier was compromised and she shuddered. Honestly, this wasn't comfortable at all. There was a boil with his arm around her waist. She had half a mind to tell him off, but he had to be honestly cold to be going this far out of his way for a jacket. She'd let it go, for now...

Each step was jackin' torture, Roch thought as he trudged through the snow, keeping the ghoul by his side. Snow dropped on his bare skin, melting at contact and the ice cold water slid over his skin, drawing goosebumps. "Sorry," he told her, knowing this sucked for her, too.
There, the dorm loomed ahead of them, looking like the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. He let go of her, letting her coat go back into place, not touching a thing as he pulled away. "Almost there," he said, rubbing his arms with his hands. His teeth were chattering.

Taryn shoved her hands in her pockets again and picked up the pace, more or less jogging to the dorm and heaving herself inside. Aaah, much better. It wasn't all that warm in Halloween on the best of days, but this was ridiculous.
"What floor are you on...?" She'd already forgotten.

"Bottom," he said, heading for the stairs at a run, practically. He felt so much better now that he was inside. "You mind if I take a hot shower while we're here?" he asked over his shoulder. He was FREEZING. "It'll only take a few minutes."

Roch was an odd, odd boil...
"Sure," she shrugged, "It's not like we have somewhere specific to be. Maybe we can meet up with some of the others, see what they know..."

He headed into his room, kicking his boots off and unzipping his vest, tossing it to the floor. He was about to take his pants off when he realized she'd probably followed him in. He glanced back at her, just a bit sheepishly, realizing she saw his whip scar, then shrugging it off.
"Make yourself comfortable," he said, disappearing into the bathroom.

...huh. That was an interesting scar. From the haunted house, she imagined? She wouldn't doubt it, it wasn't like she had been admiring his nudity there. All Taryn had was a quick glance, though, before she turned her back to Roch and bushed, nodding.
"Okay. I'll be here..."

 Dangerous DivaAttack roll: 2 d6 Damage: --HP: 12/12 A strange ghoul (?) had entered the reaper dorms, searching for people who could show her the admiration that she deserved. The last few students who she had run into had fled upon seeing her, which was all good and well (she assumed that her amazingness simply overwhelmed them), but what she needed right now was to be told just how good she was at dancing.
The Diva began to twirl her way down the Reaper dorm halls, singing the Nutcracker Suite in an attempt to attract attention. "LALALA LA LA LALALA LALALA LALALA LALALALA~"She wasn't very good.
Her eyes widened as she suddenly reached an open door, and...were those voices!? Without warning, she suddenly leaped into the room, landing as gracefully as an elephant and striking an exaggerated pose.
"HELLO, MY LITTLE ADMIRERS--" Her gaze fell on Taryn. "...There's only one of you?"

That singing... that wasn't a good sign. Maybe it was a student who had just come from the theater. Maybe... OH JACK SKELLINGTON LOOK AT THAT GHOUL. Taryn wheeled around when the door flung open and reflexively lunged back.
There was no way that was a student.
"ROCH?! ROCH!"

The door of the bathroom burst open and Roch came in--which would have been more impressive if he wasn't fighting with the zipper of his pants. He'd almost gotten them off only to be screamed for--
"Jack, what the heck is SHE?" he asked blankly, but still summoning his guitar. His pants fell around his ankles, revealing his heart patterned boxer.

Dangerous DivaAttack roll: 2 d6 Damage: 1HP: 12/12 WOAH WHAT why was this ghoul attacking her!? How rude! The Diva was about to give Taryn a piece of her mind when Roch rushed out. "OH, GOOD, THERE ARE TWO OF YOU--" She paused. She looked Roch up and down, her eyes half-lidded as she took in his current state of undress. A seductive (and by seductive, I mean not at all) smile curled on her lips as she fluttered her lashes at the reaper. "Hel-lo." She growled.
Disturbing.
Her eyes widened when Roch's pants promptly dropped off. Oh. My. God. That had just been a testament as to how amazing she wasn't, wasn't it?
She was so awesome that she blew his pants off. Literally.
Looking pleased, the Diva decided to show off by doing a nice twirl on the spot. Unfortunately, and unsurprisingly, she misjudged her distance and ended up kicking the boil who she had just been admiring a minute ago.

Oh, Jack, there went Roch with his partial nudity again. Giving him a sideways glance and assuming a clawed battle stance, she lashed out at the ballerina with her hoof and struck her back. ...was this the kind of battle Roch had told her about?!

"Jackdammit," Roch muttered, stepping out of his pants and taking the guitar by the neck with both hands. "Why the hell is it that the only ghouls that hit on me are creepy monsters?" he demanded. "Would you get out of here?" he said to the ballerina. "I just want a jackin' SHOWER!"
